I gotta say, I had a bit of a rough time with Stardock. I mean, don't get me wrong, their stuff is pretty cool. But when it came to getting a legal invoice, things got a bit dicey. I bought some stuff from them and did everything they asked me to do. But when it came time to write down my company details, there was nowhere to put 'em! So I reached out to Stardock and asked 'em about it. And you know what they said? They said they couldn't make me an invoice with my company details on it! Can you believe that? I mean, come on, guys! I just wanna do things the right way and keep everything legal. But it seems like Stardock doesn't care about that. So if you're thinking about buying from 'em, just be careful and make sure you're okay with not getting a legal invoice.

Stardock is a pretty good company, but they really need to get their act together when it comes to spamming their customers. I mean, seriously, they send out emails every single day! It's so annoying, and it feels like they don't care about our privacy or our time. We've tried asking them to stop in a bunch of different ways, but they just keep on spamming us. It's really frustrating.

That being said, their product is actually pretty good. We've used it for a while now, and it works really well. It's easy to use and it does what it's supposed to do. We just wish that the company behind it wasn't so spam-happy.

So, if you're thinking about buying from Stardock, just be aware that you might be signing up for a lot of unwanted emails. But if you can get past that, their product is definitely worth checking out. Just make sure you're prepared to deal with a lot of spam in your inbox.

I recently purchased Fences 3 from Stardock on Steam, but to my dismay, they released Fences 4 just a few months later. What's worse is that they no longer update Fences 3, which doesn't work well on Windows 11. I feel like I've been ripped off and cheated by Stardock.

Their support is terrible too. I tried to contact them about my issues with Fences 3, but they were unresponsive and unhelpful. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.

I think Stardock should be investigated for their business practices. It's not fair to release a new version of a product so soon after the previous one and then abandon the old version. It's also not fair to ignore customers who are having problems with their products.

Overall, I'm very disappointed with Stardock and would not recommend them to anyone. They are a shady company with terrible support and business practices.

I've been a loyal user of Stardock's software for many years now, ever since they first hit the scene. Back in the day, their support team was top-notch and always went above and beyond to help me out whenever I ran into any issues. Unfortunately, things have changed quite a bit since then.

Nowadays, it seems like Stardock's support team is nowhere to be found unless you're willing to jump through a bunch of hoops and post your problem on their forums. They claim that their forums are staffed with "support personnel, developers, and seasoned users of our products" who will be able to help you out, but in my experience, that couldn't be further from the truth.

Whenever I've posted on their forums, I've been lucky to get even a single response. And when I do get a response, it's usually from someone who clearly has no idea what they're talking about. To make matters worse, it often takes them a week or two to even respond in the first place!

All in all, I would strongly advise against giving Stardock your hard-earned money. Their support team is practically non-existent, and their products aren't even that great to begin with. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for your software needs.

On the 10th of October, I was really excited to purchase Object Desktop from Stardock using my PayPal account. I received an email from PayPal immediately that the payment for $29.99 was received, but unfortunately, I did not receive a license from Stardock.

I was really disappointed that I never received an email from Stardock with a license. The email they have listed on PayPal is ***@fastspring.com, which didn't help me at all. I spent an hour googling for a solution, and finally found an email ***@stardock.com. I emailed them and explained the problem, but unfortunately, I received no reply. I was really frustrated and decided to call their number ***677, but I got the usual runaround and wasn't able to speak to a real person. Finally, I was able to send a voice mail, but that was 2 days ago and I still haven't heard back from them.

I was really hoping to use Object Desktop, but unfortunately, Stardock left me with no choice but to put in a claim with PayPal. This has been the worst experience I have ever had trying to purchase software, and I would not recommend buying from them.

I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Stardock. I shelled out almost fifty bucks for Object Desktop back in January of 2010, and then had to renew my registration a year later just to keep getting updates. I mean, come on, I already spent a bunch of money on this software, and now I have to keep paying just to keep it up to date? That's some serious BS if you ask me.

Anyway, I let my registration expire again in January of 2012, mostly because I was busy and had moved and all that. But then in April of that same year, my hard drive crashed and I had to reinstall Windows. So I go to re-download my software, and what do I find out? I can't do it without renewing my registration AGAIN. What the actual hell?

Now, if you go to Stardock's website and check out their FAQs, they'll tell you that your software is still yours even if your registration expires. You just won't get any more updates. But that's not what happened to me. I spent all that money and ended up with nothing. Talk about deceptive practices, am I right?

So yeah, I wouldn't recommend Stardock to anyone. Buyer beware, folks.

I had a pretty bad experience with Stardock too, just like Cecilia. I had to reinstall my Windows and I had backed up the original installer file. But when I tried to reinstall it, it didn't work anymore. Apparently, the installer file calls back to Stardock servers and it doesn't allow re-installation without a current subscription. I was pretty disappointed because I thought that the original installer file would work just fine. I even checked Stardock's knowledge-base and it said that any installers I have will continue to work. But that wasn't the case for me.

When I contacted their customer service, they told me that the installer file was just a "manager" and that I had to find and backup the smaller individual install files that the first installer downloads into a Stardock folder on my PC when I initially installed it. I thought that was a pretty lame excuse and it felt like they were just trying to avoid taking responsibility for their product. It's not like they made it clear that I had to backup those smaller files too.

Honestly, I think their business tactics are pretty terrible. They lost a paying customer because of this and I don't think I'll ever purchase from them again. I've even seen similar reviews on a few websites, so I feel pretty silly for not checking them first. It's a shame because I really wanted to like Stardock, but they just didn't deliver.

Stardock (Stardock.com) is a company that claims to be a "cutting-edge innovator" that specializes in desktop utility software and PC entertainment. My personal favorite is CursorFX, which allows you to download and use a variety of animated cursors. However, the company has recently started charging for some of the featured cursors, and they limit downloads to six a day. Additionally, while they claim that you can create your own cursors with the program, it requires additional software and is not user-friendly. The support from the company's help desk and community forum is lacking, and they often try to upsell customers to other programs.

IconPackager is another program that is supposed to change all of your system's icons at once with custom icon packages. However, there are only a limited number of packages available, and not all of them change all of your icons. It requires a lot of manual work to correct this, and the program often messes up and requires starting over. The support for this program is also limited.

Overall, Stardock has great ideas but lacks follow-through. Their programs are often half-finished and half-tested, and their support is lacking. While they are good at selling their programs, they do not live up to their promises. It is a shame because many people, like myself, enjoy customizing their workspace and would recommend Stardock if their programs were all that they claim to be.
