I bought glasses from them, but I couldn't see through them. So I claimed a refund because in receipt it said "no refunds, exchanges only AFTER 30 days". But I've done it next day after I received them and now they don't want to pay me back.

Caused my daughter to have a small Seizure from the eye exam process the machine got to hot and caused her to overheat and over stimulated her mind due to the strobe like effect. This causing her to seize up and pass out and throw up! Please fix this problem..so it doesn't happen again to someone else.

I ordered glasses on 1/23/23 from Stanton Optical on Harbison Blvd, in Columbia South Carolina and still have not received glasses. I was told in order to receive a refund, I would have had to cancel order in the first 48 hours after placing the order. Today, 2/15/23, the customer service representative hung up on me. Avoid using this company.

Stanton Optical in Houma La over charged me by $80. They admitted it on a recorded phone conversation. Over a month later and I'm still trying to get the money they stole from me.

Please remove your awful, horrible, annoying televison commercials. They are the worse out there in TV land. I just hate them!

To be ripped off for a pair of Kenneth Cole frames with transition lens for $694.00 is a cry for help. Glasses are constantly showing defectiveness and the fourth time that I took them in, a new hire who had no clue of what to do, got frustrated and apologized for my wait. A new manager finally stepped in to help but to where they wanted me to pay 20% of my warranty to get new lenses placed. I was not about to pay extra when it could have been taken cared of and fixed the first time I notified them of the problem at hand. A total of three attempts to get the pair fixed has been time consuming and frustrating. My experience in getting three pairs now, one full price, one so called free pair, and a free pair of sunglasses is not worth the price I paid because two out of the three pairs are defective. How I ended with three pairs is because the manager at that time, did not want to refund my $694.00 and offered only to throw in a free pair each time I took the Kenneth Cole glasses to get repaired. I am so livid with the poor customer service that I have received, that I do not recommend anyone to doing business with Stanton Optical.

Stanton employee lied to me that expensive lenses were made on site and ready in 24 hours, but the cheaper lenses were ordered and took 7-10 days. Went back the next day and was told the exact opposite. Bunch of liars and thieves. I have a witness to everything, so I will get my money back. But it is going to take a long time and a lot of trouble. The owners of this company should be arrested and put in jail for the way they operate.

My husband went to Stanton 2 or 3 years ago and was somewhat satisfied with the results. He went back about a month ago, waited over two weeks for single vision glasses. He picked them up and within a couple days one of the lenses fell out. He took the glasses back to show them and asked them to fix them and they refused. They told him they didn't know if he had abused them or was careless with them. He got upset and explained he waited to get glasses because of tight money. The manager said she could replace the lens for $39.99. My husband explained that the lens fell out because of poor workmanship. He had the glasses only a couple weeks and he was careful with them. The manager refused to do anything. It would be cheaper for him to get two pair at $69.00 dollars than to replace a lense.

On April 10th I entered Stanton Optical on Blackstone Ave. in Fresno, CA. I spoke with the manager to make sure that he would have a pair of eye glasses in the strength of my present glasses. He returned with my glasses and said that they did. To go over and sign up for a eye apt. Which I did. After the completion of the eye exam I then was instructed to pick out the frames which I did. I competed the transaction charged the $467.00, and told it would be while to come back at 5:00 and they would be ready by Haley. I went back at 4:20 and waited until 6:30 at which time they could not be found. But management say they would be sent to my home address since I was leaving to go home on Saturday. I should expect them that Tuesday. Since then I have been calling every day, (more than three times a day) trying to find out what had happened to my two pair of glasses, (buy one get the second one free). I was told they were, "trying to locate them, the manager is with a customer, can I take you number he will call you right back" Excuse after excuse. Which I never got one call back from him. Finally last Wednesday (4/22/15) after 5 phone calls, I was able to speak with the "manager, " (what a joke). He said they would be sent out tomorrow. As of Monday (4/27/15) 17 days after my order was placed, I got ONE pair of my glasses. Once again I called, but unable to speak with anyone from management. I was put on hold for 1/2 hr. I called back and was told he was with a customer, I left my number. Again I called and asked for corporate phone number as well as left another message with my number both home and cell numbers. I only wish I would have listen to all the people having trouble that day who had been wait for their glasses for weeks also. This is unbelievable service! Please DO NOT GO TO THE STANTION on Blackburn in Fresno, you will only be disappointed as I am. I called my credit card to cancel everything, I am sending the one pair of glasses back, because I even got someone else's glasses. Lucky me!

I went to Stanton Optical in Omaha after seeing the 2 pair of glasses and eye exam for $69. It was a joke in my opinion. There is a limited number of frame choices, virtually zero choices for men. After accepting the fact that it the sale was based on a very limited selection, I bit the bullet and realized I was going to be buying a regular priced pair of glasses, which actually turned out to be even more expensive then I estimated. After additional confusion and what I feel was misleading and unethical sales practices, I paid for my eye exam. I then went to Costco and purchased two pairs of glasses for approximately the same price without feeling like I was getting mislead. I would encourage anyone thinking about going to Stanton, even after reading the above reviews, to review your optical purchase options before taking an eye exam so you do not get stuck paying for the exam and mislead. If you are like me, and have not purchased glasses in 15 years and are unsure of your prescription needs and thus unable to pre-price you selection, I would avoid putting yourself in a bad situation in my opinion.

My husband went to Stanton for an eye exam and glasses if needed. He went for the sale of free eye exam and 2 pair of glasses for $69. Needless to say that never happened. He got the eye exam and went to pick out his frames and was told the his prescription would not work in the specials so he ended up paying almost $200.00 instead of the $69.00 as advertised And after he got to work with his second pair, the lenses were different and he can't see out of them very well...T o me that place is a joke. If you go in for an advertised special you should get the advertised special and not spend hundreds more.
