On the 30th of October 2019 at around 20:35 I came to spur with my wife and 2 kids to eat dinner after attending my kids concert, upon entering the spur in Bloemgate109 Van der riet street Brandwag as we not attended immediately we walked in to get a table so long knowing that someone will attend to us which was not an issue, before we even sit down a waitress walked to us from the direction of the kids games inside, when she tried to speak to us there was a manager by the name of princess who said, they just walked away when I was trying to assist them in a very unprofessional manner which was not true and she then walked away, we were then left with this lady waitress who was very polite but she was shocked to her Princess who is the manager talking to us like that, and she remarked to say, she is manager she can't speak like that. I tried to be calm, but my wife said this is very unacceptable let me go and speak to this lady. She went and Princess didn't want to entertain or listen to what she had to say and became to be very rude while customers were there as she came back (my wife) to tell me that this lady she is very rude and has bad attitude. I decided to go to her the manager and speak to her, she assisted other customers to take payment when she was done she then said to me I can now speak to her. I told her that her behavior its unacceptable as we are customers and she need to respect us, she started interrupting me raising her voice that we shouldn't think if we are customers we can oppress her feelings that's not going to happen, as well added that my wife attacked her which was not true. I then decided to take her name as she told me she is Princess and I asked for her surname and she said I can't ask for her surname and I said because I am going to report this, furthermore I asked who does she report to and said to me with ATTITUDE, I don't report to anyone and ask her so do you own this place and she said yes I do. I then decided to leave AND go back to our table and told my wife and kids that we should leave as we can't eat at place that we are not welcome and we Left. I drove almost 16, 5 kilos to get to the spur to get an appalling service and I had to drive extra 5, 8 KILOS to go to ROCOMAMAS and spend R700, 00 for dinner of which I could have spent at spur. This Manager doesn't respect customers and doesn't deserve to work for spur as she doesn't live by the values of SPUR which I always support due to great food, has place for kids to entertain themselves, she deserve to be fired. Investigate this matter and provide me with feedback and as well apology in writing from spur management and reimbursement of my cost while trying to support SPUR, contact me Thabo [protected]

Good day,

I first contact Spur customer care on 14 August to sort this problem out. After receiving useless explanations I phoned on 16 August, only to be told the problem would be sorted and my points awarded to the right card, but that it takes 30 working days. Well I am still waiting, and have sent more emails with no response or action. The query number is CRM:0010341. I am tired of following up on this and feel that the service I have received is unacceptable. Please check back through the emails sent for the correspondence in this matter, as I shouldn't have to repeat myself AGAIN.

Description: Breakfast was ice cold when arrived. Worst breakfast ever. Really bad. Go see for yourself.

But my extreme concern is that the Business is being scammed. Second occasion this happened. Customer is offered a coffee and what happens when payment is due the waiter brings a bill without the coffee being added and informs you that you must pay for the coffee she just forgot to include and subsequently pockets the cash.

Bills left by previous customers are also used to pocket cash.

- The Chicken burger I bought today
(04 August 2019) containedd RAW chicken meat
- I bought this burger from the Spur "Grill and Go" Thanda Tau, Vrede.
- I only bit into the burger upon my arrival home and found the meat to be soft and "jelly-like" in the inside
- on further inspection of the meat burger I found pink, soft, gooey meat. Raw meat.
- I assume that the meat was not cooked properly and the branch was busy. However, serving raw chicken meat is unacceptable.
- I am requesting for a refund for the chicken burger meal

I would like express my disappointment in the level of service I received at Soneike spur last night What was suppose to be a special surprise for my mother turned out a disaster.
I am totally disgusted in their customer service.

We ordered 2 Mohawk plates which was suppose to include :lamb chop, ribs, chicken and wors then they tell us there is no wors available .Which we agreed to their offer of a beef kebab . When our food arrive there were no lamb chops in both plates. When the food arrive it was so cold you could swallow everything at once.We notify the waitress about the missing chops she brought it in a side plate afterwards. Which I complaint about my cold food they add new chips but microwaved the other food . My mom ordered ribs and chips which she could not eat it was burned and hard so she throw it for her dogs please check the cameras where she put her ribs in a takeaway .We ordered 4 hunger busters only 3arrive my husband had to wait until 20min after the food was served .

I will never in my life enter Soneike spur again !!!

I took my mother for supper this evening on mother's day(12/05/2019) and unfortunately it was the worst experience we've ever had a spur branch. Firstly when we arrived there was no one at the front desk or anyone tk seat us. We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated(not that big of a problem) We were then helped and our orders were taken. Two hours later.. We were still waiting for our food. Eventually I got up and approached the waiter to ask her why our food was taking so long. She then informed me that there was no rolls for the burgers. I then responded saying that she could atleast bring the other food (steak and chicken strips)... Only about 20 minutes after u spoke to her we started to receive our food. One of the orders also didn't come with the hot veggies that we ordered and we were then told that they were out of veggies too. Then as we were waiting on our drinks.. The waiter came to us to inform us that there's no ice cream and thag we could no longer have milkshakes... So we ordered regular sodas instead. As we were eating, we noticed that all the people were leaving out the back door(emergency exit) of the spur as they have now closed. So when we finished up and paid, we also walked out that door. Where we were approached by one of the waiters who was very upset about us leaving out that door but yet people have been exiting there for the past hour. Even people that was at our table exited there and had no problem. She then got very upset with me and shouted "don't come back" and this all because I explained why we walked out that door and she wouldn't understand so I responded and said "yes it's okay to be treated like this, it's not like we've received anything we've wanted here all night anyways". I honestly am so disappointed with this service as all I wanted was to spoil my mom with her favorite meal at spur. We will definitely not be returning to this spur branch.

Good day

I had a very bad experience yesterday at spur in Summerstrand Port Elizabeth and left a bad taste in my mouth.

I made a booking three weeks back for my kids birthday party. I phone them back three days before the party just to confirm the amount of children and adults.

When I got there yesterday 3:40 there my tables hasn't been set up and guest and myself had to wait 30 min before we could be seated. I went to the manager and he had to move people from their seats and in order to make space for us witch is so unfair because they had to make the necessary arrangements for that.

Then one hour later the tables was set and we were officially seated. When we had to order there was only one waitor who served 34 people one person the other person that was there basically just walking around because when she took orders people had to walk after her to make sure I get there orders. We waited long for food drinks and everything it was very unprofessional service.

To top everything off when the bill come they had problems with the system and printing they loaded everything on one bill. The people got frustrated and went to pay on their own and the bill was so messed up they didn't take everything off the slip and I had to pay in witch is unfair they didn't do their job right and the one waitor was so flusted he didn't know if the was coming or going the service of the management was incompetent. This is the first time I received such bad service from spur.

They didn't even ask nor take my spur card or my childs birthday voucher I'm so disappointed in the service and treatment I received yesterday.
