These guys at Sparktec Motorsports are the real deal! They ship fast and their prices are amazing. Plus, they're super easy to talk to and always keep you in the loop. Highly recommend!

I spent almost $600 on a meth kit from Sparktec Motorsports, but when it arrived, it was missing a bunch of stuff. I called them up for help, but they just told me to talk to their supplier and Snow for help. Their customer service is terrible. I definitely won't be buying from them again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

This place is a total waste of time. They never take anything back and the people are super rude. If you're smart, you'll run as fast as you can from this place. They don't do anything to fix problems and they treat people like crap. I wouldn't recommend buying from them. They only communicate through email and they even attacked my gender and told me I need to go to school. This is just bad business all around.

So, I had a problem with Sparktec Motorsports. My order got lost for 21 days and it was time-sensitive. I contacted the shipper and Sparktec, but no one responded until the package was delivered to me 21 days later. I refused it, and Sparktec offered to return it. They gave me a return authorization number and a return address in Indiana. I printed the address on the package, but the package was returned to Sparktec's warehouse instead. Sparktec is now saying I didn't follow instructions and won't refund me. I received rude emails from them, and it was all too much hassle for a $150 order. I hope this review helps others avoid the same stress and loss of money.

I bought some AlphaRex headlights from Sparktec Motors on 8/13 for my Tacoma PRO Proj. They came on 8/18 and I put them in on 8/21. I had a guy fix them up for me. But on 12/1, the right headlight adjustment thingy came out of the housing and now the headlight won't go left or right. I took the right headlight out on 12/2 and saw that the adjustment thingy had come out of the housing. I had to put it back in because I don't have any other headlights for my truck. The right headlight is pointing to the right and that's not safe. I told Sparktec about it and they said it's not their problem. I think it's a defect from the manufacturer because it only worked for 3 1/2 months. I talked to AlphaRex and they said Sparktec has to fix it because of their policy. They also agreed that it's probably a defect because it should have lasted longer. These headlights were expensive at $421.14. My order number is ***.

My son bought a *** V8 HEI Race Dist from Sparktec Motorsports in CA on August 29. He sent it back on September 10 to the address on the package he got from Sparktec Motorsports ***, . I emailed CA in October and they said "we do have a distributor in *** but I don't see any credit on their end that this was returned. I wanted to share my experience with SparkTec Motorsports, an aftermarket parts vendor with an online presence and an Ebay presence. I believe they are based in California, and getting the word out on poor customer service and falsely advertising products is important to me.

They advertise Ground Control Coilovers on their Ebay store for $359.10. The following is from their original posting for a 99-05 miata. They've since changed THIS specific ad, but you'll find the same verbiage on all their coilover postings.

Springs: We are pleased to announce that Eibach has chosen Ground Control as the west coast distributor for their ERS (Eibach Race Spring) line of springs. All of our ride height adjustable kits now exclusively feature Eibach springs. All racing and street/show spring rates are available. All Eibach springs offer a lifetime warranty against spring rate change and sagging.

After contacting the vendor to ask how I can purchase these with the race springs I want, I was told "We only have the stock spring rates right now." In their ad, they also state that all products are guaranteed to be in stock and ready to ship, or they will pay the buyer $25.00.

You may notice that the verbiage of their product description is identical to that of the Ground Control website, excluding the in-stock portion. They are also less expensive that Ground Control, so I was excited to do business with them. They have repeatedly refused to sell me what they listed, including stating that I didn't read the ad several times. I've asked several times "How do I order these with a 700 lbs front and a 400 lbs rear spring, and James Kang has stated repeatedly that the ad does not state this. I can only guess that English is not his native language. After many frustrating days requesting that they honor the price, he has refused.

I have documented my conversations as well as filed a complaint with the BBB for false advertising, but thought I'd help the community out.

I ordered a part last week and chose the 2nd day air delivery from UPS(which was an extra $60). It has been over 5 days and have gotten no response from the company. They took their phone number off their website (hmmm). And their contact us page says they reply to emails promptly (hmmm). I have emailed them like 10 ten times to find out when they are going to ship and i get no response. I called my credit card company to cancel and they said they couldnt for some reason. I am fed up with Sparktec Motorsports, dont order from them!
