I had my car painted just before the COVID 19 shutdown on 1-/13/20 . I was very excited to get some fresh paint on my car. The directions for maintaining an Econo paint job is very simple. The vehicle has to be hand-washed with a soft flow of water and waxed every 6 months. You may not wash the vehicle until 30 days after it has been painted. Before the 30 day waiting period paint started chipping on the front bumper, peeling on the edges of the left side passenger door and on the rear hatch. I went down to their shop to show them and was told that the warranty does not cover what was previosly described, and that they would not cover this. My work order # is 638854. I was not expecting it to be a pro paint job but i was expecting the paint to at least stick to the car for the $700 i paid.

Econo paint is now under new management. We have always had our vehicles painted here without a problem. But now this has been one of the worse paint jobs ever. There are pieces of trash all over the truck under the paint and they refuse to fix it. I have never been so disappointed in a place where we have spent our hard earned money and all we ask is for you to give us the kind of service we deserve. The man behind the counter has no personality at all and is so very rude!

Dropped my truck off the last week of Jan. 2021, went to pick it up 4 days later after the manager said it was ready, it looked like absolute ***. I swear my 8 year old could have painted it better. After talking with the manager he was willing to redo it. So skip forward a week and it is ready for the 2nd time per the same manager. I get there and it looks pretty decent this time, still has 2 little runs and some light orange peel in a couple of places but I mean you cant expect exceptional quality for a $500 paint job. Overall I gave them 3 stars for redoing it with no argument, decent paint job, bad taping job, bad overspray, and not cleaning it up in anyway before having me come and get it. They could have at least cleaned the TON of dust out of my truck for me, but whatever.

I experienced today 5/15 pretty much what you can read below. I made an appointment for Tuesday the 12th to paint 5 small spots of paint that had pealed away. Really a minor job. Dropped it off on the 11th to make it easier so they could start the work right away on the 12th. I was promised the vehicle could be picked up on the 13th. I swung by and checked on the 12th vehicle never touched. Called on the 13th for pick up and told me it's not ready I can pick it up on the 14th. I arrive on the 14th at the designated time and review my vehicle and it was a disaster. The green paper that they use to cover up areas was stuck to the clear coat and was going to be given to me in that condition. I showed the office person "J" and he said that was wrong let me keep it and I will fix it and you can pick it up on the 15th. I call on the 15th another worker "P" told me it was ready. I arrive and it was never touched. I explain my frustration and lack of trust and it just fell on deaf ears. Told me to pay in full as I offered to pay 50% and I would return and then pay the remaining 50%. Nope pay in full and we will now fix it under warranty. So after having the vehicle for 5 days I have to return and have them try again. So buyers or customers beware the low prices and cash only does not give you any customer service or any type of quality (like the advertise) repair at all. The over-spray was every where. If it was black it is now white. The sanding residue is all over the inside of my vehicle, doors, seats, trim, dash everywhere. The floor is full of dirt and rubble and the door from shoes is all scuffed. Biggest mistake I ever made. Not worth it at all. They do not care about you or your vehicle. So I should have known when an outfit only take cash something is up. If you look at the Complaintsboard.com review they are rated "F" DO NOT GO THERE!

Let me start this off with first meeting Paul we are dealing with Econo Painting at 801 1st street East Bradenton, Fl., was very nice he looked at the right rear door that had a deep scratch. "This will be no problem to fix, we will spot paint the area and you will not be able to tell it was ever painted." He cave me the price and I told OK you have the job as long as when I get the car back no one wil be able to tell it was fixed. My car was just 3 weeks old. Yes purchased it just 3 weeks before this parking lot damage. So I get the call your car it ready go down to pick it up I was 12 or more feet from the car when I saw the disaster. Car was full of dust and dirt the paint did not match. When I got close to the car and look at the damage they had done I was ready to blow my top. never was sanded before or after it was painted never buffed the door, over spray on moldings glass and other parts of the car. Oh we can fix this we will do it over and again I said I better not be able to see the repair. Oh yes sir we will make this right. The next day go to pick up the car it was worse. Now they had painted the whole door color did not match at all they shot the paint dry, there are pit holes in the paint more over spray then the first time. Both Paul and the manager told me there is nothing wrong with this job you will have to "CASH OUT". What is this a casino? Had to pay to get my car back. Toke to the dealer's body shop which did my first estimate $850.00 and had them fix it correctly at a cost of $1,388.92. The increase is done from Econo Paints *** poor work. Bottom line DON'T GO TO ECONO Paint for anything.

I dropped my vehicle off for the white to be painted. They painted the entire vehicle, even the black, just sprayed it all. They took it back to repaint the black, and get black on the white. I took it back again and they tried to argue with me that it was my fault that they messed up. They took it back to paint over the black spots. There were white on black and the car was not repainted, even though they had it for a 5-7 days at a time. They tried to say that was the 'last time' they would fix their mistakes. They scheduled me for a over a MONTH later saying that it was how they schedule their warranty work. I took it in AGAIN they kept it for over a week, did not put parts back on AND there was white on MANY black parts again. The arrogant front office manager, had his workers come out in the hot son and try to remove the white that was on the black and 'repaint' with the small brush. When removing the white, again some of the black was removed AND I STILL have white spots on the black and my tires. The 5 times Ive had to bring it back to be fixed has had me borrowing another vehicle while they had my car sit, Im sure to prove a point and keep me from coming back. I again need to take it back to fix it, but they win, they wore me out and I dont want to have to make arrangements to leave my car for a week to again not have it done right. DONT go there!

My wife had to take car twice to get original paint problem fixed and after getting car home from second trip discovered 3 new scratches in the front of car and the interior was covered in white dust front and back as well as white dust all over the exterior and both mirrors were pushed in. We now have to find someone to fix the scratches they caused because this place can't be trusted to take it back to.

The worst business in history. All I can say, is after my 9 day experience with Econo Paint (on a spot paint job)? I wouldn't let this company paint my toe nail... let alone another car. I wouldn't send an enemy there... it would be too cruel. They painted my car the wrong color and didn't use filler in dents or scratches just literally painted right over them (charged for prep though). They also broke components on my vehicle... antenna, air mass flow inlet stem and my headlight housing bracket. Would you believe my wife caught them jumping our battery...wtf? Here is the topper, after all is said and done we pay anyway to avoid anymore issues but of course they have a grand finale the *** storm is not done its just begun. After I paid our fees my wife later goes to pick the car up, but couldn't leave; because they had lost our keys. Can you believe after an unsuccessful search for the key, the manager turns around and accuses me of taking em... Believe it or not this and more really happened. They had my vehicle from 12/10 to 12/20. My battery is dead and they said we aren't responsible for your battery. i was forced to give 1 star

Terrible lol I was told $400 on the quote and I agreed so we brought the vehicle in the next day the guy charged us $467 and told us the car would be ready the next day. We call the next day then he said 3 days. We came back three days later and the car was done. Upon looking at it, it appeared none of the vehicle was sanded properly and all of the chrome had been scratched. The fact is, the entire vehicle needs to be resanded and painted again. I don't have time for this. How do they stay in business with such terrible terrible quality?

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works I gave my car Ford edge limited (XXXX) to a dealer at Greensboro (Topsale Auto-his phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX) to paint for me for a full body

I gave my car Ford edge limited (XXXX) to a dealer at Greensboro (Topsale Auto-his phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX) to paint for me for a full body make up which will include the inside of the backhash to match the outer color paint. my self and the dealer agreed that he will take the car to a painter for the car to be painted with a paint that has 3 years grantee or warranty. In painting of the whole car, the inside of the back hash should be painted to match the color of the new paint they are using to paint the car.To cut the whole story short, Econo did not paint the car properly. They used a different paint to for the inside of the back hash. To make the matters worse, the interiors (covers of the back hash) of the back hash had a different paint altogether sprayed on it. When I picked up my car, I asked the dealer what happened and he told me that Econo didn't allow him to inspect the car. I called Econo and spoke with the manager. The manager informed me that my car was painted in a cheap place and that was the quality of their work. The manger said they are not going to remove the sprayed paint on the interiors of my back hash. My car is in a total mess. Order_Number: WO-XXXXXX

Paint job gone horribly wrong. Paint chipping everywhere, paint fading all over, paint on seals, paint on mirrors, paint on windows, paint on lights, paint on wheels. It has been 6 months and it looks like it 10 years old. Absolutely horrible and beyond unacceptable. I want full refund and additional $500.00 to cover cost of repair. Total was $772.40. With extra 500 to repair being $1272.00.

March 22 I left my car with Econo. After a week I picked up my car and noticed not all the dents were properly fixed, missed areas and over sprayed the bumper as well as other areas. I called to complain and Patrick was not available. Finally I filed a complaint on Yelp. Afterwards I finally spoke to him and arranged to show it. I went by to show Patrick the issue he excused all of it and gave me touch up paint which wasn't the same color. I continued to contact him and Patrick said the paint had to cure 3 months. After 3 months we finally scheduled July 12 to repaint the car, when I arrived I was told it'll take a week. I was not in a position to leave the car a week so we rescheduled for July 19. The car was a different color from the first paint job they did. The first one was charcoal with a greenish tint the second and current color is a dark metallic gray. After letting the paint cure it started to peel so I filed the yelp update. I have not heard from anyone in the company again. The paint is continuously peeling.

I paid to get my truck painted and they got paint ALL OVER the inside of the vehicle as well as parts of the vehicle that were not supposed to be painted! I asked How they planned to resolve this and all he said he could do is blow the paint dust out of the vehicle with air. Quite frankly I do Not want them touching this vehicle again. I want A refund and a detailer

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works I took my car in to get the front bumper and passenger *** light repaired and painted

I took my car in to get the front bumper and passenger *** light repaired and painted. The repair job was not done right. I came in on 10/15 got a car repair Estimate. I drop the car off on 10/16 for econo auto painting shop in Greensboro, NC so they could repair and paint my bumper, replace my passenger front head light. Victor called me on 10/22 from Econo auto painting shop and told me my car was ready and when I got there Victor told me my car hood wouldn't close. I seen my car and the bumper was painted dark navy blue, my car is a pearl blue and the heads was pushed end. The headlights look like they had gasps in between them and the bumper and my hood wouldn't close . I asked Victor what happened to my car and I said to Victor look at my car it's wasnt fixed right and the bumper paint don't match my car. Victor told me that it was fixed right and he see the paint don't match but if I wanted it painted again . I would have to pay them to repaint it again the right color. This is unacceptable behavior from Econo auto painting shop in Greensboro North Carolina and I do not think that I have to pay for them to fix my car over or paint my bumper again the exact color like they promised the first time.

i paid this business for a pain job and the removal of dents and scratches. when i received the car the dent looked to have been removed but it showed up after about 3-4 days and the paint job was dull and there were areas that did not look correct as it had globs of paint like it wasnt sanded 1st and etc. There were also spots of where the paint did not dry fully I had to wait (per owner) until 30 days until i could bring the car in to be repainted. I just dropped the car off to be repainted however thee owner did not want to reimburse me for the dent in which they never fully removed out. Although i was willing to pay more for an upgraded pant job

Econo painted my radiator & according to my mechanic (to whom I towed my car), Econo killed my battery (bought in April) and fried my starter and engine control module (ECM). My car was running just fine when I left it with Econo on June 23. On June 28, I heard a worker at Econo tell Tory, the location manager, that Tory had hooked up the charger backwards. The work order number is *** Despite Tory having told me that my car had been painted and was "in detailing" on June 25, they failed to call me back as promised two days in a row. They closed for the weekend without calling me back. When I came back to Econo to pick my car up on June 28, the regional manager refused to accommodate me for my inconvenience, and he said to me, "You paid for labor, not customer service." I called Econo on June 29, to insist that Econo pay for my new starter and ECM (at least $1,250 total), and Tory rudely stated that I would have to contact their corporate office and hung up.

We took our truck into the Econo Paint shop in Ocala on May 13th. We paid for two scratches to be painted. The paint looked fine when we picked up the truck and paid cash for the repair. Less than two months later the paint had come off of the one longest scratch. We were out of the state on vacation so sent a letter to the shop Manager explaining we would bring the truck in to have the paint redone under the warranty as soon as we returned. On August 9 th we took it into the shop and the Manager refused to fix it stating that it was a new scratch! We contacted the District Manager and took it back to the shop on August 23rd at his request. He refused to fix it and raised his voice to me when I refused to accept that it was a new scratch. What are the odds of it being in the same exact place as the original scratch? We were asking only that he repaint it but now we do not trust their work and are requiring a 50% refund of the $446.19 paid.

Got my car painted there and they did not do what they promised they would do. Paint was not the same color which was bold beige. Took back three times. The first time I took my car was in November. 2009 Honda Accord. Account number on the last receipt work order number XXXXXX. June 6, of 2019. First time paid $378. Had to take back 3 times. The last time I took back it was an additional $150.00. They said warranty was pro rated but I had a three year guarantee. The car was taken back the first time because they did not paint to my specifications, it had some unfinished work and wasn't original color. The next time I took back the paint was chipping off. This was the third time.

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works The color of the car is not the same

The color of the car is not the same. On 1/4 I stopped at econo to inquire about the $299 paint job. I talked to Kathy and she explained to me that I wouldn't want that paint job its not really good. So I asked her what was the best they have, she showed me the $599 paint job, so I told her I wanted the car back the same color, she said ok it can be done. I came back the next day to drop off the car on 1/5. I received a call on 1/7 from Kathy to come pick the car up its ready, when I came to get the car it was raining, theybhad the car parked outside in the rain. I really didn't think anything of it, I talked to the guy manager and he gave me my keys and I paid them, he told me the directions to treat the paint. After looking over the work mybpaint wasnt the same color it looks mat black with flakes in it, so I was thinking it was just the paint that had to settle. I waited the 7 days and hand washed it and the paint was not what I had asked for, I called and explained to them that the paint wasn't right and was told to bring it back up there, when I get it back the guy manager said thats how they paint, he said they do production paint jobs whatever that means. I asked for the same black paint, theybgave me something totally different.

I was advised I could bring my car in from 2.5 hours away. After I showed up, I was told I could not have the time I was told. End of March , I was advised I could bring my car in on Monday to have it painted, and it would be ready in 2-3 days. I offered to pay or run down to pay prior to Monday so I could secure my spot but told it was no issue. I arrived 8am, and was turned down, and in fact told I was 22nd in line so the 2-3 days could not happen. So I offered to paid for the paint job, so it would secure a spot, again, and was asked to keep my money. I then went and got a money order so I could secure the a spot and not have to drive 2.5 hours, and it cost me more money. I left, added more gas to my car, called to speak with owner, and area supervisor called, and said he would call me back after he grabbed the receipt, and I guess we resolve the issue by me being out of pocket again, because I have not heard anything back.

I took my vehicle to econo auto paint in Knoxville, TN. I paid for the higher stage paint job in hopes that they would take care of the vehicle. I chose the color I wanted and left. A week later I called and was told that the car was complete. I show up to get the car and it is the complete wrong color that it was supposed to be. Instead of apologizing and making it right, Sam the manager wanted to argue about how I was wrong, after pointing out that many steps were missed during the painting process he agreed to paint it the correct color after 3 weeks of paint curing. I waited the three weeks and returned to econo to have it redone as promised and was met with sighs and pleads to bring it back another time because they were short staffed. The car was left and was repainted and I have uploaded the pictures showing the shoddy workmanship on the car. They refuse to fix the issues and now my radio has been stolen out of the car also while In their possession. I would like a refund

I would give them a negative 1 if I possibly could! They kept our car for a month! When we got it back, the car was several different paint textures, and there was white paint all over the wheels, windows, interior of our car, and the inside dash/ doors. The manager told us ALL the painters quit, so they had unskilled workers paint our car, they even used spray paint. He then told us to pay $1000 and bring it back to get "redone" once he got real painters in. He then refused to take more than $100 off for us to be able to take our car home after that entire month. They then came down in the price and said we would have to pay $250 to take the car, IN CASH. Then they wrote up a HANDWRITTEN contract to say we couldn't sue or take legal action if we paid the cash and took the car. I went on Yelp, and apparently they have been doing this to customers for years. One man wrote that they did the same to him, only he had to pay $400. They are dishonest and unskilled.

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works I had my 300 C Mercedes car painted on February 12

I had my 300 C Mercedes car painted on February 12. They broke my Mercedes emblem. Glued it back together and never informed me it was broken. I had my 300 C Mercedes car painted on February 12. It was put under a friend that referred us to the painting company that was a regular client of there's by the name of *** When I picked up my car everything looked okay and there was tape on the Mercedes emblem on the trunk. There were also still some scratches on the car. When I got home and the tape fell off the Mercedes emblem due to the rain. Myself and my husband noticed why the tape was on the Mercedes emblem. The tape was there due to the paint workers broke the Mercedes emblem which was cracked in several places. They were notify the next day and received pictures. My husband went up there several times. He was told by *** they couldn't do anything until after 30 days until the paint cured. The vin number was given on March 11. My husband was in contact with *** who also wrote up the paper work for getting the car painting. He stopped answering his personal cell and until I reached out to him on March 22 from a different number. I called and left a voicemail as well as sent a text informing him I'm going to get my lawyer involved. He went back and fourth with me then hang up the call. I want a refund for the paint job and Mercedes emblem refund.

The car had chipped areas without paint and they damaged one of my hubcap covers. Econo refused to recognize the warranty. They gave me some paint On February 2 I paid $1,100.00 in full for my bronze effect 3 year warranty paint job on my H2 Hummer. I noticed my hubcap was damaged and requested an understanding of the reason. I was told they were not responsible despite the cap being affixed on the SUV at the time of service. Upon further inspection I noticed several areas where paint was not on the vehicle or grit was underneath the paint job. I was told they would not service my vehicle anymore. I called the sheriffs' office and received a report

My clear coat and a few spots of paint were chipping off of my car trunk due to the Florida sun. I took it in initially 7/8 to have the trunk repainted, pick up on the 11th. When I arrived to pick it up the trunk was a completely different shade of yellow and was not blended at all into the side panel. There is an additional layer of sparkles that goes over top of the yellow pearl paint. The sparkle layer was not done either. I left it there for another week for it to be corrected & there was some sparkle, but not as much as the rest of the car. Then they said they had to repaint the entire car, another $350 (on top of the previous quoted $425) which I never got a receipt for, which they told me at 1st they could not do, it in order to match everything... that was another 8-10 days. Now the yellow all matches, although it is not the same yellow it was when i took it there. There is not nearly enough sparkles. Not enough room so I took it back another 2 timebecause they fo

In 2018 paid over $600 to repaint car, get protective clear coat, and three year warranty. Bubbling of paint, clear dust under the new paint job as they clearly didn't dust off the paint removed before painting over it, paint chipping, protective clear coat didn't hold up at all, paint carelessly sprayed inside side view mirrors in spots, and refusal to honor three year warranty purchased at time of service without another nearly $400 despite being within the warranty period and their shoddy work being the reason the car needs repainting at all. Had to send son to be heard. Company claims gave me a warranty page explaining the warranty and additional charges required to use it but they did NOT as my daughter witnessed. Paperwork they provided was receipt that didn't hold the ink of the written details of order but still displays the work order #. Said they would try to find it in their system but it would be unlikely and that regardless I would have to pay nearly $400 to use warranty.

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works The worker was supposed to repair the windshield wiper sprayer

The worker was supposed to repair the windshield wiper sprayer. They replaced the damaged sprayer but after the repairs the sprayer continues to work improperly. The sprayer does not spray properly and remains defective even after repairs by ECONO AUTO PAINTING & BODY WORKS - EAPOO, INC workers. Due to my complaints against him, the representative called the police and I was barred from the premises for refusing to leave because of unsatisfactory work. The worker told me that there was nothing more they were going to do and that I just had to leave their property. I paid them $637.72 and was truly upset about paying to get the part repaired properly. This did not happen about them repairing the part correctly. And after speaking to the police they explained that there was nothing they could do, I would have to file a claim against the company or get a lawyer. This is why I am filing this claim to get rectification of my issues and possibly my money back to get the repairs done properly. I later noticed that the limited warranty paperwork only lists the amount paid by me as $600.00 instead of the $637.72 that I actually paid which is listed on the other receipts. This is part of their deception, used when they called the police to force me to leave because I was complaining about their work, after I had paid them in full. Econo Auto Painting & Body Works I painted to get my whole truck painted; door jams were extra and i paid for it and my door jams weren't completely done

I painted to get my whole truck painted; door jams were extra and i paid for it and my door jams weren't completely done. I paid for my white truck to be painted blue and had to pay extra for door jams. When my truck was finally ready it was not done properly. The work was poor because I still saw white, door jams were not completely painted and were bubbled, I had paint on my interior which showed me that they didn't tape it off like they were suppose to, also one of my lights in my door were missing and it was there when i took my truck in. Also in my truck bed they took down one of my plastic pieces and never put it back. When I spoke to Patrick the manager about it he said sorry and that he would have the distract manger call me. I informed Patrick I wanted my door jams refunded because they didn't deliver like they were suppose to and also i wanted my light piece that was missing and he informed me he didn't know where it was and he can't refund anything. I personally showed him where they just painted on my seat and door and how there was a huge amount of dusk in my car which comes from the workers not tapping my car off. I also found 2 rubber pieces laying on the back floor of my truck that went to my door and i asked Patrick where did those pieces come from so I can get someone to put them back. They kept my car for over 2 weeks and still did not do a good job and deliver the products that i paid for.

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works I went to Econo Auto Painting to paint my car

I went to Econo Auto Painting to paint my car. They made a worse paint job and they refuse to fix it. On November 17,2020 I went to Econo Auto Painting & Body Works located at 7020 N. Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa FL 33614. The following day they called me to inform me that the car was ready. When I arrive to the location for my surprise I noticed that the paint in my car had a dripping paint look on the driver side back panel, it almost look like waves. I refused to pay for that horrible job and I asked politely to please correct was they have done to my car. The manager of the store , Mr. Patrick told me that it could take up to three weeks to get it fix. After 3 weeks they called me that the car was ready. I went on friday December 4,2020 at 3pm. When I arrived and saw the car it was worst than the first time,:more running paint on the driver side back panel that had dried and they left it like that. I asked the manager what happenned to my car I tought my car was going to be fix and the worst customer service I had receive in my life was serve to me that day. He was arrogant and demanding me to pay or to give him the title of my car so he could sell it. He was screaming at me and asking me to leave the store. I felt threathed so I called the police. When the police arrived they went in to the store and talked to Mr. Patrick. The police informed me that Mr. Patrick expected me to pay and take my car and leave . Today , December 10 I received a voice message from Mr.Patrick saying that by the end of this week I have to pick up my car or else he will sell my car. I thought the message was to inform me that my car was fixed and ready to pick up. ~~~ with this complaint i attached a photo of the car. you could see the drip of the paint...

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works I brought my car for body repair and a two-tone paint job

I brought my car for body repair and a two-tone paint job. Instead I got a paint oversprayed pathetic paint job that was incorrectly painted. I brought my car to them for body repair and a two-tone paint job. After a week, they called to say it was done. When I arrived, the car was in the shop painted entirely different than the color photograph I gave them showing EXACTLY what I wanted. The car had overspray everywhere and the emblems weren't even reattached. There was still a large dent on the quarter panel that they were supposed to repair as was the rear bumper cover was not attached properly. These were all things that was supposed to be fixed. When questioned, the guy who wrote me up screamed at me to get the f outta my shop. When I said I was calling the Police because I felt threatened, a manager (Jordan), appeared out of nowhere and apologized for this other guys actions. He promised me that, If I gave him 5 more days, he would strip off the bad paint and repaint it to my liking. I got a call 5 days later telling me it was all done. Upon arrival, the car was outside. It had paint overspray everywhere, the headlights and fog lamps (still with the masking tape on) had paint on them, the roof antenna had mega overspray on it. The paint was NOT stripped off as promised as there is a definite line on the doors showing he only painted over the second color. The overspray was everywhere! They never taped off the car properly and there is paint color on all the lenses, windows, door handles. chrome tailpipe extension and so many fisheyes it's pathetic. The car emblems were re-glued on the body with some kind of adhesive that oozed out between them all and eventually fell off. This is the most pathetic painting and service I have EVER encountered. Their attitude was very aggressive and childish. I ask that I get a full refund so that I may take it elsewhere to have a legitimate body shop repair their damage.

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works I took my car in on Jan.11th to have body work done,a new paint job the price was more than what I told was told

I took my car in on Jan.11th to have body work done,a new paint job the price was more than what I told was told. But the next day I agreed to have the full work done of $745. I was going to tell if I send my car in on the 11th I will receive you back on the 13th that it was only a day work. I was told that our receiver back third Wednesday evening then after calling them Wednesday I was told that I would not receive it back until Thursday that it was almost done when I called in on Thursday I was told that part of the toner was not and so I had to wait yet another day which was a Friday which cost me to pay more for rice and a rental of $96. The paint job that I chose was not the correct paint job they painted the undercover by my tires which was supposed to stay black as well as got paint on my mirror, tires my car was not covered correctly before painting I paid $250 only to not have my full car sanded correctly which left scratches did you can still see over the paint job. And I still have spots where it was not sanded as well, as two big dashes in my car. I asked for management but Vic refused and was very rude I asked. I asked him to have the owner to call me but Mr Vick stated they did not have an owner. said they had did not have one and I asked him for the corporate office number which he refused said I can find it myself online. I asked him to have management to call me back on the 15th which as of today the 21st no one has called me yet! They also left my car very dirt/ alot of dust and put a hole and part of a rubber part which I know for sure was not there when I dropped it off my fiance and I look the whole car over. I told Mr Vick that it was not there before I dropped it off but he said it was. I asked him to at least wave the $75 paint change to at least cover my rental car but he refused. No one seems to care no wanted to help me. My undercover was painted blue as well as I have blue paint on my tires and mirrors very unprofessional.

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works Getting nowhere

Getting nowhere. Paint is and has been since they released it, chipping, bubbling, chunking off, and or missing totally. I brought my car in for paint on March 1. I got a phone call that it still wasn't quite right so they kept it longer. March 4th, I picked it up. I was told if I had any trouble with the paint, to bring it back any time and they'd make it right. When I got home, I noticed the paint was horrible. One side mirror was painted, one was not, the one that was painted is peeling and looks horrible. My spoiler was totally bubbled, tons of blemishes, drips, missed spots, oversprays, particles in the paint, all over the car. Now, they talked me into the highest paint job, told me it came with a warranty and it was the best one they had. I called to get the car back in to be fixed and they could never find time to get me in. Then covid happened, everything shut down. My car is terrible! It's coming off in chunks. I called again to get it in. Got someone named Patrick. Super nice on the phone, understanding, even he told me "it shouldn't be bubbling and chipping off but bring it in so I can see it". Well I did just that. Total change of attitude when I showed up. He ended up giving the same story everyone else gets about the prorated warranty, told me for $200 they'd fix it. It's been bad since they did it the first time they painted it. I came home, called "corporate". I was told everyone was gone ( it was just after 4) and someone would call me back within 24 hours. Nobody called. I called again the next day. I was told "he" was in meetings and didn't get to me, he'd call me tomorrow. Tomorrow came, no call. I called again. Finally, I got "Dave". I was given the same runaround about the prorated warranty, but this time, he insisted I had the cheap paint job with the 1yr warranty. I have the paperwork, I paid over $500 for this paint job, I have a 3 year warranty. I got nowhere. I want my car fixed. It went in for one tiny blemish and came back a mess.

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works I notified Econo Auto Paining that I wasn't satisfied with the paint job that was performed on my 2013 Kia Optima approximately 1-2 days after I

I notified Econo Auto Paining that I wasn't satisfied with the paint job that was performed on my 2013 Kia Optima approximately 1-2 days after I picked up the car. The horrible paint job was done on 8/05. Econo Auto Painting & Body Works ("Econo") did not perform the work satisfactorily as per contract. The vehicle has paint overspray on the gaskets, rear and front lights, weather strips, mudguards, door locks, rearview mirrors, tires, all door jams including back truck, all plastic moldings including the moldings on the sun/moon roof and all chrome. I took the vehicle to Kia for an assessment of the damage to the parts on the vehicle and the damage is approximated at $3,206.78. In addition the vehicle will need to be repainted due to the unsatisfactory work that was performed. Therefore I also took it to another paint and body shop (Maaco) to assess the poorly done paint job and give me an estimate of what it will cost to repaint with the proper paint and clear coat. Per Maaco the paint used on my vehicle by Econo Auto Painting was not the paint promised per the contract and they found no indication that the clear coat I paid for was even used. The approximated cost for Maaco Auto Painting to repaint my car is $1,419.49. I reported the damage within the limited warranty period to no avail because no one choose to handle the issue and no ever contacted me to resolve. So I was force to seek legal action having to acquire another cost of $1,500 on top of it all. My attorney Justin Clark & Associates sent letters to Econo Auto Painting informing them of the issue and giving them all the information on all the repair estimates listed above. He also stated to them that I as his client believe that Econo Auto Painting & body Work is not capable with repainting the vehicle so we are hereby demanding that they pay me the client $6,751.42 plus any court fees. They never responded so we had to file a law suit. Amount suing for break down is listed below. Cost to repair damage to all car parts listed above...$3,206.78 Cost to repaint vehicle...$1,419.49 Fee to hire Attorney...$1,500.00 Refund for Initial paint job cost...$625.15 Total Claim amount: $6,751.42 This does not include any court fees or Any additional attorney's fees Product_Or_Service: 8/05 Order_Number:

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works Bad pain job and customer service

Bad pain job and customer service. I need to sell my 2005 Pontiac GTO so I took it to XXXXX *** XXXXX on 5/21/109 to get the hood repaired (sanded and painted) and the car painted to match the hood. Ok fine. They did not paint the car the correct color Yellow. When we dropped the car off, they said that they knew how to find the correct color, I guess it is in the vin #. They did not. They also did not know how to mask the car correctly as the trim was covered with overspray as well as overspray in the trunk that damaged the custom car cover. There was paint on the windshield, head lights and mirrors as well. They did not paint the inside of the doors so when you open them it is obviously the wrong color and the mirrors were not painted on the inside so when they are adjusted it is not the same color Yellow. It just looks bad, not professional. I specifically made a point to tell them that the wheels and tires were brand new and to please take care to not get paint on them. They didn't seem to understand this and the wheels as well as the tires have overspray on them. I brought these issues to the attention of the Manager; Robin and she did not seem concerned at all and brought a worker from the shop outside in the parking lot to "fix" the issues. We decided to leave the car for a few days for them to complete the list of issues. We got the car back with little change done. Still had over spray on the windshield, back window and mirrors. They could have at least cleaned the windows! I had to take the car to a detailer to get the wheels and tires cleaned of the overspray for $80 and they are better but not perfect. After much research on how to clean the overspray off the trim and not one of them seemed like they would work without damaging the paint I took the car to another detailer That was recommended to me to get a special tape put on the black trim to hide the overspray. The manager of Econo said for us to get a paint pen from Michaels to cover the overspray because that's what they do, but she did not have a paint pen to do it at that time. That cost an additional $125 because the paint pen did not cover the overspray no matter how many coats applied. This mess has reduced the value of the car $5000.00! We have not been able to sell the car because when people get close to the car the crappy paint job is obvious. We were offered $2,500.00 for it which is ridiculous because the car should be worth at least $13,000.00. The bad paint job and lack of service to fix their mistakes has had a toll on us fiscally as well as emotionally!

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works I have econo 2 opportunities to repair my bumper properly which they have not done

I have econo 2 opportunities to repair my bumper properly which they have not done. On April 9th. I picked up my car after having the bumper repaired due top a car accident i was in on March 28. A few days later i noticed the paint on the bumper was peeling in several places and the bottom of the bumper was hanging off. Myself and my dad who had took the car there initially contacted them to make them aware. The manager told us to bring it back in on May 6th which was a huge incovience because i needed my car fixed right the first time and i have a hectic work schedule as a CNA. I scheduled that day because we were told that was the next available day. On May 6th i could not bring it because I had to work so it was moved to Friday May 8th. I thought that Ii would have the car back by the end of the day on may 8th but when i called I was told by a manager that I would not get the car back until the following Monday. I had to work so this was not convenient. I then had to reschedule to their next open day which was Thursday May 14. I was told by the manager that i f i brought the car in on Thursday May 14th at 8AM in the morning that the car would be done by the end of the day. When i did not hear from them at the end of the day i called and was told the car was not ready. i was very upset because i was told that it would be and no one called me earlier that day to give me a heads up. I also had to work and now had no transportation. When Ii initially got the car fixed back in April had a rental car that was paid for by the insurance company. However that was over a month ago and now i had no back up car. All this was Econo's fault because they did not fix the car correctly the first time and took so long to get my car back in to re do the job. Under these circumstances I asked for a rental car which I had to litterally beg for. Econo paid for a rental car for one day and promised that the car would be ready the next day, friday. The car was not ready. I was now being given the run around and was in a desperate situation because i had to go to work and have an 8 year old child that i have to drive far to a baby sitter. They really were inconveniencing me. I literally had to beg for a rental car for a second day which they agreed. Ii finally picked the car up on Saturday May 16th at around 10:30 AM with my step dad. when i got home i noticed that the paint was still pealing in multiple places and the right side of the bumbler is not attached to the car. It looks like it can come off. i have attached pictures so that you can see. I would like to be refunded my money for all the time and aggravation that this company has caused me so that i can go to another location to get my bumper fixed properly. I have 7 pictures of the peeling paint and a picture of the way the bumper is not attached properly. It looks like i can only attach one picture but if there is a way to submit all 7 I have the picture.

Econo Auto Painting & Body Works On October I was in town for a few days and left the car in for a touch-up had my friend pick it up and ship the car to ***

On October I was in town for a few days and left the car in for a touch-up had my friend pick it up and ship the car to *** island Upon arrival of the vehicle to *** island and iimmediate inspection I noticed the trimming and the tinted windows were painted and some other issues I immediately called and ask them if they had an email so I can send them pictures they said they didn't have no email, to bring it in within the year of warranty. September I came back to Florida with the vehicle spoke to Kelvin explaining the situation he said he would take care of all the issues above and make it better but my nightmare was about to begin, I ended up paying $500 4 color change door trims. they accidentally painted one fender in the inside they painted all the black trimming and broke my door handles, the paint is chipping they did not put the clear coating on it and the paint is totally dull. When I claimed that one fender wasn't painted I asked him to paint the other one as well he said I had to pay an additional $100. I replied why do I have to pay for an error that they did. Then it wasn't until I got home I realized that the door locks were broken once again I called him,he said that usually happens, to bring it back in 30 days so he can correct the issues and replace the door locks, November 25 I went to econo since he had asked me to bring it back within the 30 days and he did not have the door locks he said to wait until he gets the door locks so he can make all the corrections. I had to return back to *** came back the end of January he said he was too busy to take my car, after several calls for several weeks and continuously he was busy and couldn't take my car he finally gave me a date March 30. 2020 . I couldn't bring the vehicle in due to safety and health issues with a pandemic starting. During the month of May I called him several times he still was busy. Finally he asked me to bring it in on May 30th. I traveled from *** to *** for him to tell me that he will spray paint the fender. And that he sees the car fine that, that is the price that I paid for I cannot expect anything else , when it is very clear that the paint is dull and chipping. And to bring it in the following Monday June 1st. Which I did early in the am ,that same day June 1st as I was getting into my friend's car to leave I saw a tall white Caucasian gentleman pass by to get into his black truck I said "good morning' to him and asked him if he was the owner he very rudely cut me off said that he was from corporate and that whatever I had to say to speak to Kelvin , then I asked him for his name and he rudely got into his truck and shut the door in my face. My friend and I looked at each other shocked. At 4 p.m. I called Kelvin to get an update on my car he said he would have to go back there and call me back within 5 minutes until this date I am still waiting for him to call me I showed up the next day Tuesday June 2nd around noon to pick up my car the only thing that was done was the trimming on the door was corrected and the door locks were replaced ,at this point he refuses to fix the paint fender and the other issues because I did not pay for that and it is also off warranty according to him. at this point I want a full refund and my gas spent from *** to *** time Wasted which I find ridiculous making me travel just to tell me to bring it in on Monday a conversation that could have been done through the phone. I just need to mention did I have done business in the past with Edwin and I never had a problem under his administration.
