Last week my wife received a phone call from Edison Customer service, saying they would be cutting off the energy on the 28th if we did not pay the arrears we have. No explanation why! No transparency, no reason for the billing, no nothing! EVER! In one year, NOTHING!

SCE have received 4 registered letters asking for transparency, all SCE can do is call my wife up and threaten to cut off the power. NO ANSWERS NO REASONING just threats!

On every Edison bill it states purely a sum we have used…NO PROOF of how SCE come to that figure! That one SCE bill we have accepted and paid although the figures on some occasions do not corroborate.

The CPA a local clean energy supplier, is named as the 100% clean energy supplier on the second bill. The bill is fabricated by Edison!

We have asked ourselves, what is going on here? We pay for the normal rates according to the reading on the house meter. A second bill however, charges us for 100% CLEAN POWER. On what basis?

Bearing in mind, we have been volunteered to use 100% CLEAN POWER, why do we pay the full Edison rates as well? CPA informs me that they top up at Edison. Then together with SCE calculate the portion of the bill for CPA. Very clever! But how? Again, no transparency! You use a figure you don't back up and you calculate the Clean Power based on that!

When asking CPA, that’s when the discussion ends…as you get the obligatory apology from CPA that they don’t deal with billing to SCE ratepayers.

On the flip side, Ms. Esparza on your crisis management side of SCE simply says, “Any inquiries regarding this matter, should be directed to CPA”.

Seems to be a communications problem as well!

After sending 4 registered enquiries, I sent SCE a final registered letter in December 2022 asking for transparency, we have never received an answer!

We have not paid the CPA bill Edison fabricates ever! It makes no sense!

We have had no answer to 4 registered letters asking for transparency.

Not one of these letters has been answered! Not one!

Since December we have been receiving Edison bills with the wording printed DISCONNECTION on it. No fallible reason!

In June, we opted out of CPA as my letters were not being taken seriously. I attempted to pay the following Edison bill which now shows a position of ‘other services’ that are in line with what SCE wanted for CPA! You still demand almost the same amount (TBS) as previously charged with CPA! And if I have understood SCE correctly, over a year! What on earth is going on?

You then threaten my wife on Friday with cutting off of the power.

When are you going to start explaining instead of threatening?

And here I am on the complaints page, and all you want me to log in on to social media! Otherwise, my complaint goes nowhere! This is insane!
