I am an employee of TicketNetwork responding to the commentary above. We're very sorry to hear about the customer's displeasure in regards to her ticket order.

To start with, it's important to note that TicketNetwork (rather like EBay) is only a nationwide network through which registered companies and trusted individuals resell tickets to events. This means that we don’t own, price, nor ship the tickets you see listed for sale on our website. It’s also true that the tickets listed on our exchange are being resold (and thus re-priced) by their respective sellers. The resultant mark-up is what keeps popular event tickets on the market longer than they’d normally be available for purchase. So, as a result, consumers are able to buy tickets to highly popular events on their own schedule and either after or before other event tickets are available.

Due to the factors above, customers who buy tickets through us will notice that the price on their actual tickets will be different from what they paid for the tickets. Customers will also notice that the name on their tickets will be the name of the initial ticket purchaser (usually someone from their seller's office). It's nevertheless true that neither the pricing nor the name issue will in any way prevent customers from being able to access their event. People buy tickets for other people all the time (something of which we're all reminded by the upcoming holiday season) and so excluding people from events because their name doesn't match the name on a ticket would bring the entertainment industry to a standstill.

Aside from that, the customer above also mentioned something about allegedly receiving the wrong tickets from the seller of her order (SongTicketing). If that's true, we at TicketNetwork would certainly like to know about it so that we'd be able to help the customer and resolve her problem. We therefore kindly ask if Mary would contact us at customerservice@ticketnetwork.com with her 7-digit Order ID number so that we can look further into her issue.

PS: The "piece of paper" the customer references simply means that the tickets she received were e-tickets that were printed on paper and sent to her. E-tickets are all the rage nowadays and are increasingly used by both sellers and primary suppliers as a quicker and easier means to supply event inventory. They're completely legitimate.

what does TicketNetwork have to say about the companies they allow to post tickets they do not have -- these companies list any show available - also called "speculavtive ticketing" ... then when the poor customer
finds a website they think is a official website - place a ticket order - the reseller or broker - simpe goes to the "real" website of the venue and buys regular price tickets - that they now resell to the consumer for double or triple the price ... and for what .. because they have a better google search ?! ... crooks

My name is Willie R.Collins, I got 2 tickets for the Oakland Jazz Festival in Oakland, Ca.
I was charge $304.38 for two tickets. I think you guys made a mistake. My order number is 57-21649 and the last four on my card is 6607. I hope we can clear up this matter as soon as possible. Hope to hear from you soon
