Moving companies lose stuff all the time, and this one lost two of our boxes that we said were extra important. They had some Native American paintings in them (4), painted by my great grandma who passed away. We told the company and movers many times that these were the most important things to us and that they had to be extra careful with them. But they didn't do that, because the boxes never made it to our new home. When they delivered our stuff, we saw that two boxes were missing. The movers kept saying "Don't worry, you have everything here. You just have to unpack and look." But we knew they were missing. They told us to sign a document saying we got everything, and that we could file a claim with insurance for the missing boxes. We didn't want money, we just wanted our paintings back. But we can't get anyone from the company to answer our calls or emails. We talked to someone at first, but she said she wasn't the right person and that someone else would call us. But they never did. We left voicemails many times. It makes me think the movers stole them on purpose. Thanks for reading, let me know if you need more info.
