Everything thing about our move was a grate experience with Ace from the quote to delivery day. The Movers were very professional and courteous. We were kept up to date with delays and informed of ETA throughout move. Moved everything with care! We would definitely recommend & use Ace again.

Move binding estimate was for $2462.12. (which was paid in full). Mover charged an additional $368.81 because there was not "enough room in the lift van" according to movers upon arrival to move my possessions. Mover provided initial move charge (estimate/binding contract based on an IN PERSON review of items being moved. I signed off on the additional charge and PAID it (I signed an amendment) ONLY because my move would have been delayed if I contested the additional charge it at the point of origin. This was an out of state move and I decided to pay the overcharge and contest if afterward to get a refund. The overcharge clearly breaches the terms of the contract/binding estimate (see attached). that signed off on (for $2462.12 for my move). I am seeking a refund in the amount of $368.81 that I had to overpay this company for THEIR mistake in my moving estimate. (In reference to order: #FL029450) delivery to ***, *** on June 4. Beware! The lead mover refused to do the unpacking included in my contract. His reason was "that will take a long time," so they just dropped off my goods. The dispatcher seems honest because he confirmed the movers knew unpacking was part of their responsibility. The movers will intentionally cheat you out of services included and paid for in your contract.

At first, they were really good. They answered our questions and emails quickly. But on the second day of moving, the movers called and said they would arrive at our house at a certain time. However, they showed up 3 hours later than scheduled. They didn't bring the moving truck or a U-Haul, instead they loaded everything into their own vehicles. When they arrived at our new house, we discovered that some of our belongings were broken. Our air compressor and one of our TVs were also missing. When we confronted them about it, they tried to say that those items weren't listed on the packing paper. But we found evidence on the paperwork that proved otherwise. We filed a claim, but they didn't respond to our calls or messages. Finally, after a month, I managed to get in touch with them, only to be told that they denied our claim for the missing items, even though it clearly showed on the paperwork that they loaded and moved them. To make matters worse, they didn't wear masks like we had asked them to. They made excuses, saying that their masks were all broken and needed to be repaired. I definitely wouldn't hire them again to move our belongings.

We had a terrible experience with Ace Relocation Services. Right from the start, not enough people showed up to pack our big house. They didn't bring enough boxes, and the packers didn't even know they had to pack mirrors and TVs. They didn't want to do it either. One day of packing turned into two days. When we finally received our items, they told us we needed to pay everything in full before delivery. We did as they said because they threatened not to deliver if we didn't pay in advance.

After the delivery, I filed a claim for the furniture they damaged. About a week later, I received a check for almost the same amount as the claim I submitted. When I called to complain, they told me that they didn't include the delivery from storage to my home in the estimate. It felt like a slap in the face. I specifically hired them for that purpose, and they knew from the beginning that we wanted storage time and then delivery to our final destination.

After speaking with my representative, he informed me that I signed a non-binding contract, and they could pretty much charge us 10% of the total cost, which they did. Now, I have to pay almost $4000 so that my claim can move forward and I can get compensated for the items they damaged. I'm extremely disappointed with this company and their shady billing practices. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Please, please, please don't use these guys for your move. It's better to avoid than regret later. We used them to move from Seattle to Texas, and at first, they seemed like a trusted company. But when moving day arrived, it was clear that we had made the wrong choice. The packing and loading crew at the origin were the worst I've ever seen in my life (this is the 9th time we've moved across states, so I'm speaking from experience). Very unprofessional, they didn't pack stuff securely, just threw a bunch in a carton and taped it (my husband and I could have done this ourselves instead of wasting around 8K). Also, it's really annoying to find out that our stuff was handled roughly throughout the transport, resulting in almost every furniture item being damaged, scratched, or broken. There are also several missing items, which is even more frustrating. The crew at the destination were okay, but very impatient. When they unpacked the cartons, they just lifted boxes and dumped them on the floor, mixing bathroom stuff (like used mats and trash cans) with wardrobe stuff (clothes). I only wish they had the patience to read the labels on the boxes and place them in their respective rooms, rather than just dumping everything in one place. We're not talking about just a few items, but we've found issues with almost every furniture item and several missing items with no clue. We're beyond frustrated with the type of service that ACE has provided. This is not the type of service I would expect when we paid around 8K in total. We understand there is a claim submission/insurance process, but that won't compensate for the loss we've incurred. And who has the time to take pictures of every single furniture item in your home (almost all of them have an issue) and submit a claim? Such a terrible experience! Please stay away from this company. There are better companies out there that can provide premium service for a way better price.
