Singlesnet.comrefusing to accept my removal, now charging me another month

I request, by e-mail, that singlesnet.com remove me from their dating service and that i did not wish to continue with them. That was early this month. However, I found out on July 21, 2009 that they disregarded my instructions and took $24.95 out of my savings account without my consent, knowledge and against our agreement.

I sent singlesnet.com an e-mail message to at 7:45 a.m. this morning July 21, 2009, stating affirmatively that I want my $24.95 returned to my savings account.

Singlesnet is the biggest scam of all time. Try searching for a girl in Asia then you will see the same girl on the Germany site what kind of bull ### it that all about!!! LOL I just laugh anf figure the singlesnet people who are answering the emails which are sent really must love their jobs reading comments on emails from serious men and women searching for other singles.

The site claims that it is TOTALLY free to use-to check emails, send flirts, IMs. When you go to respond with emails a window pops up to send money. ALL of the sites are like that - ZOOSK, Match.com. All you can do is look at pictures and send winks. I will NOT be sending my money to those people after hearing the stories of how they mess up people's credit/bank cards. that is fraudulent advertising. FREE is just that FREE !

I know there have been a lot of complaints on here about Singlesnet.com, but they have honored their refund policy to me. I was on the website and did not like it after only 3 days. They worked with me and resolved this issue, so give them a chance. And by the way I do believe there are real people on this web site. You will have people trying to commit fraud all over the internet, but if you report the person they will delete them quickly.

I go to gt on the web site and it goes to gateway timeout. I have tried two days now and it keeps going to that timeout site. This makes two times since I have been on the complants site. I hope this doesn't happen again for awhile. I like the web site but when I try to go on it I hope that I will be able to get on it all the time instead of part of the time.

I cancelled my account with Singles.net in February 2009 via E-mail but they continue to automatically take the monthly fee of $24.95 out of my account. I now have to go to my bank and put a hold on their automatic withdrawal from my account and I'll be charged by my bank to have this done. Does anyone know the address of Singles.net so I can file a complaint with the New York and Massachusetts Attorney Generals' office.

I believe singlesnet.com is a scam because as many people that are on there only a few say Featured Member - which are the real people who are most likely paying. All the rest are fake profiles with pictures found on the internet and used as that persons picture. The way some of the girls talk on there is not the way a gir l would normally talk about theirself in an email...calling themselves dirty sluts and things like that...a female would possibly say this in the moment of dirty sex, but not to stranger the first time you speak to them. Also, some of the pictures you can tell have been copied from a website and put there - a model does not need a dating site!

I have subscribed to Singlesnet on a one month basis twice and all I have found are the same faces and the majority of them are separated or married.

I have met a few of the men and basically they are looking for one thing and one thing alone, to ***. I guess in the 50's age range that is what it is all about. The ones I have met are all on high blood pressure meds so they cannot even rise to the occasion.

Don't waste your time or money. There is someone out there for everyone!

I have NEVER used this site in my entire life, I am not even single, and they billed my account $24.95 under the name "Moon Park" - Payment Services. WTF. They got ahold of an address from four years ago and completely fraudently set up an echeck. I am filling out fraud papers today, but my bank never should have cashed that in the first place.

I have sent over 50 flirts and/or e-mails over the last month. I have only received a couple of responses. This doesn't seem right to me. I don't think my e-mails or flirts are even being sent. I am a free member because I am disabled, but I e-mail paying clients and they never e-mail me back. My profile/pic seems attractive enough, what's going on here? I certainly will not consider paying for a membership to this site.

Singlesnet.com, claims for one to be able to view, email others on the site but all one see's are small boxes with x's on them, even when your attempting to input your own info the site is not allowing you to. They claimed that I had restricted their website but when I checked all was fine on my end. I'm able to view all other sites with no problems. What a rip-off.

From signup, I began receiving 20-30 emails per day, hawking mostly "soft Viagra". Also, I sent a query email to Singlesnet every day for a week and received no response.
They claim a # 1 rating from the BBB Online, but a trip to BBB showed no listing.
How has these jerks avoided being sued?

I agree they should be held responsible. I know they will say there are females interested in you and they are not they may have just looked. So hey technically they are if they stopped and looked right, but the site says they may or we believe or we think etc read it closely. Any way my complaint is that I have responded to a girl she wrote me back wanting to meet. Then she disappears from the site. I searched for her profile in search by screen name. You guessed it she doesnt exist. She probabley never did. I doubt I will get my money back either.

I cancelled my account on Singlenet online when I kept getting out of the country messages from fraud people. My profile clearly states no out of state people as well. I wasn't using their site anymore until I found the reoccurring charges on my credit card.

When I called them they said I never cancelled...then why does my account have resign on the listing if it never got cancelled?? I agree on the fraud. They fix it so fraud people can contact you that never come back or from another country and when you try to stop your money going out...they fix it so it still reoccurs. Beware!! They are not good business people and take peoples money for no service. I will never sign with them again!! They charged me 3 mths with no permission, now I'm Frustrated!!!

I opened up a SinglesNet account today (free trial basis) and had barely filled out the questionnaire before THREE emails or winks came in, two without a picture, one with a bogus white guy photo. I knew instantly they were the infamous Nigerian scammers. Anyway, I logged off and then an hour later tried to log back on so I could take the names of these scammers down. I couldn't log back on, got the message that my account was delete or de-activated. I have no clue why and now I'm worried one them hacked into my account although there is no credit card info on it. What if they had some spyware -- the FBI nabbed a Nigerian who is now doing 18 mos in prison after scamming a NASA employee (romance scam). All she did was open up his email and clicked on the link to his profile to view his photo. This simple act enabled his spyware to get a hold of a wealth of her personal information on her computer.

Bottom line, SinglesNet.com is a MAGNET for these low life creeps, yet they do nothing to protect against it. So it's up to people like us to spread the word to STAY OFF THEIR SITE -- IT IS INFESTED with scammers.

I emailed SinglesNet's customer service and expect an answer tomorrow as to why my account was deleted after just two hours! Today's Sunday ... wish me luck.

Also beware of woman from Russia. The whole thing starts here and these girls
are very convincing because their letters are so personal. Tell them you no intentions
of sending them money no matter what the circumstances are and see how quickly they move on.
