on trying to post a card to Australia which contained a thin bookmark. We were told that this made the card a package. As it was a package, we were told we needed to go home, buy postage online, then return to the post office to post it. As we are UK citizens, we do not have ready access to a computer and printer. somewhat reluctantly, the staff member allowed our grandson to purchase the postage on the post offices' computer. we understand this incurred additional cost. Compared to our experience of posting articles in the UK, this was a poor experience and surprising for the quickly developing Singapore technology.
