To Whom It May Concern: Today 12/10/15 has been the worst experience I have ever encountered at my neighborhood Shoppers Food Warehouse Store located in Clinton, MD. It all started with the young man that was I thought was acting as a front-end assistant. Now just to give you a little bit of history about my self. I have done retail chain food work for years. I have worked for Giant, Safeway, Superfresh and a family owned small grocery store. I have worked in D.C, Maryland and Virginia and now I can say I have gracefully retired. Out of all my years working at these stores I have seen many things good and bad.Today the camels back finally broke. Back to the young man that was supposed to be assisting me; I asked for some help with self check out and it was though I was talking to a wall, no greeting, no smile, didn't even answer my questions when asked. He merely stared at me and mumbled something that I couldn't understand. The young man in question is Paul Johnson. Very unprofessional. Later in the evening I decided to have some crab legs and salmon for dinner. Sat down to enjoy the crab legs not only did they taste funny but the smell wasn't right either. The piece of salmon fillet was nicely done not a bone to be found, but the skin side of my salmon had never been scaled! I thought sure it was just a mistake. Back to the store to replace the crablegs and to get my fish scaled and the man working seafood counter said absolutely not, we never scale the salmon. I think this a terrible practice. I have never bought salmon fillet had to scale it myself. I would sure hate to leave my convenient neighborhood store because I cant get the quality of food that I pay for or the respect and assistance I deserve. I spent roughly $90.00 for three items. I would also like to say I have a son that's a co-manager and a grandson that is rising up in the stores Thank you a concerned shopper.

To whom it may concern: May 3, 2018, My complaint and concern is the Shopper Food over in District Heights, Maryland on Donnell Drive Forestville Md. I notice for the last few times I purchase a carton of 2% milk the milk has been spoiled way before the expiration date I have called to let one manager know and he says he will look into it. Now yesterday I notice when I open a bag of frozen broccoli bag and the broccoli was brownish color looking and I just purchased 2 weeks after the 2% milk which the date was not that far apart. So now I get on the phone to call Shopper Food and ask to speak to the Manager of the store: Manager name was Ron Hendrick and I explain to him what's been happening for the last few times and he was very nonchalant, no good customer service not apologetic at all and I mention to him that this issue I'm having is not acceptable and if it continues to keep happening every time I purchase something from the store and its always bad few days later I was calling the food health department, because someone can get seriously sick behind this and the Manager of the store told me to "Do what you got to do" no apology no nothing which I find unacceptable I guess I was looking for a better response from the Manager of the store. I go to that neighborhood store quit often and I see why the employees so rude the Manager is ignorant. I would like this issue to be resolve as soon as possible. Or send your manager to a customer service class on how to treat and what to say to long time customer who gives that store my business. I was very disappointed with the lack of respect from the Manager Ron Hendrick. My suggestion to the Corporate is move Ron somewhere else to another store where he don't have contact with customer. He have very poor customer service skill, Please handle this problem it needs to be address immediately.
