Shell review: Charges for 3 transactions for a $25.00 shell gas card that did not activate

On January 31, 2024 I was trying to purchase a $25.00 Shell Gas Card at the Shell Station at the Mackinaw City EZ Mart, 101 Jamet Street, Mackinaw City, MI 49701 Phone [protected]. Three times the register spit out "receipts" that state GIFT CARD ACTIVATION FAILED and that they were PENDING REFUNDS. At that point the clerk, a very nice young man whose name I did not get but the receipt shows CSH: 5, stated that the charges probably would NOT go through but if they did they would be refunded per the PENDING REFUND showing. When I returned home the funds (3 different $25.00 transactions for a total of $75.00) were already taken from my checking account. I contacted the Station Manager TAMMY and she was aware of the problem and looking into it. I called the next day to let her know the charges were still not refunded and she stated that it could take 5-8 days to go through. She stated that she would have an answer for me by Monday. I called again on Monday Feb 5 and Tuesday Feb 6 and she has NOT returned my calls. My receipts, all dated [protected] are: TRANS#1018353 at 11:44 am, Trans#1018354 at 11:47 am and TRANS#1018355 at 11:49 am
