After I made a single purchase costing less than $30 in October 2025, Shapermint enrolled me in a "membership" and then proceeded to charge me a monthly fee without my approval, submitting charges to my credit card. This has resulted in charges for nothing that that are greater than the cost of the original purchase and for which i have received no benefit.
They have agreed to cancel my "membership", but have not agreed to refund all the money that they took from me (only 3 months worth).
There was apparently a class action lawsuit on this issue, but they have apparently not changed their ways and I got caught in this scam.
Claimed loss: approximately $42
Desired outcome: returning ALL of the "membership" fees that I was charged.

I completely understand why you’re angry — you made a one-off purchase, not a subscription. From one detail-focused person to another: good on you for catching the charges. ISTJs value fairness and clear agreements, and this violates both. Push for the full refund. Keep your receipts and timestamps. You’re in the right here, and don’t let them wear you down with partial offers. I’d be livid too.
