I was intrigued by the summer sale that Shapermint was having, so I decided to try it out. I browsed through their website and found their items to be reasonably priced and of good quality. To sweeten the deal, they offered an additional color of one of my purchases at 70% off. Although I wasn't planning to buy the 'wait, before you go' item, I couldn't resist the discount and added it to my cart.

To my dismay, I discovered that they had swapped the shorts in my order for leggings when I received my confirmation email. I immediately reached out to their customer service via the 'contact company' option, which they promise to respond to within an hour. However, I was greeted by a robotic chat system that was unable to assist me. When I requested to speak to a real person, I was told that everyone was busy and would get back to me within 48 hours.

This was shocking to me as I had assumed that the company would prioritize sorting out customer service issues and concerns. Unfortunately, their lack of responsiveness has made me feel exasperated and annoyed. To make matters worse, now I am stuck with an item I didn't want and charged for it. The website does not provide clear instructions on how to handle exchanges or returns.

Overall, my experience with Shapermint has been disappointing, to say the least. Their lack of effective customer service has made me lose faith in their ability to provide quality customer care. I strongly recommend staying away from this company and avoiding accepting any 'special offers' that may not be reliable or accurate.

Shapermint (shapermint.com) is a company that claims to have a shapewear product that works wonders. However, let us tell you first-hand, that is not the case. This company deceives its customers and does not fulfill its promise of refunding all of your money. They even charge you to return the items to them, despite assuring customers beforehand that they would get the full refund amount.

When confronted about their policy and intent to refund the full amount, their representatives assured us that we would receive our money back. They even issued a partial refund before we returned the items as a token of their commitment to returning all our money. But, when we sent the items back immediately after receiving them, they retracted their promise and refused to return $9.95, which they deemed as shipping cost.

Their promotional purchasing protocol is nothing but a scam aimed at hooking customers. As soon as we received the items, we realized it was a misrepresentation of product features and functionality. The shapewear did not do what it purported it could do, and we only opened one small bag to examine the fabric before deciding to return them.

We are currently fighting them to get our money back and are considering escalating the matter to legal, governmental, or banking entities in our purview. It's frustrating because we haven't been able to use the product or derive any benefit from it.

We do not recommend anyone to go through the same ordeal as ours. The hassle of getting your money back is equivalent to wearing a too-tight shapewear, and it's not worth your time. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Shapermint at all costs.

I came across the Truekind bras through their ads on Pinterest and decided to give them a try. While they weren't exactly perfect for me (I wear a 32F), they were definitely more comfortable than my old underwire bras which cost a fortune. I also decided to try out their shapewear but unfortunately, the sizing wasn't accurate for me, and it ended up being too big to be effective.

Interestingly, I decided to order a few bras for my mother who has dementia and needs something supportive and easy to wear. Unfortunately, none of the bras really fit; the band on mine was too loose and rolled up while the band for my mom's bras were too tight and the provided extender dug in. However, the bras were still affordable and more comfortable than what I had previously owned.

More recently, I decided to order a few bras for my teenage daughter who has a similar build to me with a small torso and a large cup size. Unfortunately, the bras haven't arrived yet so, I can't speak to how they fit. What's more, I've reached out to Shapermint's customer service several times about the delayed order, and while they say it's the shipping carrier's fault and offer me coupons, I'm just about done with this company.

In my opinion, online businesses must fulfill orders in a timely manner if they hope to keep customers happy. Amazon sets a high bar for delivery and many other online retailers scramble to keep up. Regarding Shapermint specifically, their marketing strategy has been nothing short of irritating for me. I get several emails and texts from them every day, including a barrage of sales coupons and reminders. It's overkill and quite frankly, I resent the fact that they're trying to sell me more bras when they haven't even shipped the ones I ordered a month ago.

All in all, Shapermint is not the best company out there. I found their product to be mediocre and their marketing tactics nearly unbearable. When considering all these factors, I believe there may be better options out there for anyone looking for comfortable lingerie.

Although I ended up returning everything, I do want to give them credit for processing my reimbursement in a timely manner (minus shipping costs). I did attempt to exchange one of the bras for a different size, but the options available were not what I needed. So, I filled out the return form online and then found my size in stock on their website. I was confused as to why it hadn't shown up during the exchange process. When I tried to explain this to the chatbot, I found it difficult to communicate my issue. I then called the phone number hoping to speak to a live person, but unfortunately, I was only given the option to leave a voicemail and wait a couple of days for a response.

While attempting to process the exchange, I learned that corrections or changes are impossible once the return form is submitted. This was very frustrating considering I had just submitted the return and was hoping to quickly resolve the issue with an exchange. Unfortunately, the lack of human customer service made it difficult to get the help I needed, and ultimately, I was left with no other option than to return everything for a refund.

Despite these issues, I will say that the Shapermint website is visually appealing, and I did really love the feel of the Wacoal bra and TC shaper boy shorts. However, I did not care for the thick, scratchy texture of the Empetua shape wear, and it was also too hot for me to wear as an under-layer. I eventually found the same bra on Amazon for a much more affordable price.

In conclusion, if you are considering purchasing from Shapermint, I highly recommend trying on similar items in a department store first to ensure a proper fit. While their website may seem appealing, their customer service is lacking, and the ordering process proved to be more difficult than I anticipated.

If you're considering placing an order with Shapermint, I would caution you to think twice. Notably, Shapermint's customer service was the worst I've ever experienced - which isn't ideal, given that I was dealing with a lengthy medical emergency requiring round-the-clock care for a family member. This was the reason why I had opted to do all my Christmas shopping online. But given the poor experience I had with Shapermint, I strongly suggest that you use caution when dealing with this company. Also, don't use their fast check-out option. Overall, the customer service was incredibly disappointing, and I concluded that it would be better to shop elsewhere. Additionally, I received an email promising to fix my complaint, but promised to take almost a week to take effect.

They do offer a single Wacoal bra, but it's priced way above the standard retail price and doesn't come in many sizes or colors. Additionally, a bra by Bally has been out of stock for months. In reality, most of the shapewear on offer is of low-mid quality and is typically sold on Amazon or other discount sites.

Another aspect that Shapermint promotes heavily is their free returns and exchanges policy. However, this is far from the truth. Firstly, customers are charged a $6.95 return fee, and then given the option to shop with the refunded amount or pay more in order to have the money returned to the original form of payment. Aside from this, shipping can also be a major issue.

In terms of the actual products, I purchased a range of items and have mixed reviews. The free tote and laundry bag were fine, but the Emputa high waist shaping brief was designed in such a way that it came up over my chest, and the compression was far too light. The Emputa high waisted shaping shorts were better, but lacked compression, and the waistband of the At Waist shaping shorts was sewn poorly and caused an odd muffin top. The Cocoon shaping cami was made of a strange material that cut off circulation, and the straps were not adjustable.

Overall, while I appreciate the concept behind Shapermint, I would not recommend the site to others. The quality of the products is lacking, and the returns policy is not as advertised. It's much better to purchase shapewear from a discount store, where you can try it on for size and quality, and avoid the hassle of returns.

As a frequent online shopper, I recently had a terrible experience with Shapermint that I feel compelled to share. Despite being drawn in by a seemingly good deal and popular advertising, the overall experience was marred by a series of issues from the beginning until the end.

After placing my order for several items planned for an upcoming trip, I started receiving an overwhelming amount of spam messages on Facebook Messenger, trying to pressure me into making more purchases or taking advantage of out-of-stock deals. When I requested them to stop messaging me, things got worse.

Despite Shapermint claiming to aim for a delivery window of 4-6 days after ordering, my items hadn't arrived even after 12 days. Worse, when I checked on the status of my order, I was told that my items had already been delivered - but this was not true, and my shipping carrier had no knowledge of any such delivery. Inquiring through email resulted in several auto-generated responses and no real answers or answers to resolve the issue.

Finally, after weeks of waiting, the items arrived, but it was too late to use them as I had left for my trip already. The return process was just as frustrating as the delivery process, with no traceability of the status of my return showing on the website despite having a return authorization.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the experience and would not recommend Shapermint to anyone as things just didn't line up with their marketing messages and about ensuring satisfaction with the product. While I did eventually receive my items, it wasn't until they no longer had any use to me, and the quality of the product did not meet my expectations. Save yourself the time and trouble and go elsewhere for your shapewear needs.
