Hello, I was in Sam's Club on Tuesday May 17, 2022, at approximately 10:15 am SAM's 8050 North 124th ST. Milwaukee, WI 53224
with my sister, we selected our items one of which was a member's mark garbage bags the top of the box was ripped open I thought I can ask the manager if he can lower the price as he did approximately two weeks ago on some garbage bags with the top torn off he allowed me to have those for $5.00 well I was trying to pay for my items and the same alarm was going off since we came in the store I had started to count but when I realized it was not going off I said I'll get my things and then leave, then there were some workers behind me asking where did you get those bags while I was trying to pay, so I stopped to see what they were talking about, one of them said I can go get you a different box I said No I am going to ask the manager if he could decrease the price. The other worker said we use these instore when they are like this again the Alarm is still going off, I responded I am going to ask the manager I ask if you can call him, but he was walking my way she walked towards him stopped him and I guess she told him something, he comes over and said I'll take $5.00 off the original price which I believe was $18.00
so, I said OK, started to pay for my items and my sister items seven times machine would not accept my card or her card after trying credit and debit then all of a sudden, the machine blanks out Alarm is still going off, the man behind me whole machine falls off its holder, I really begun to think what is going on around here. One of the workers said I have to ring you up on a different register, Alarm is still going off I had no idea why if it was emergency or what no one said a thing accept customers who were annoyed as I was
The worker had to get an override because it was $5.00 off the garbage cans
so, she asked Danella Not sure what her title was because her ID was turned the opposite way. then I asked her what she is going to do to compensate us for our time? she said you were already given $5.00 off the bags, but that was because the top of the bag box was torn, I ask again she said nothing I once again tried to pay for my items in the machine was twisted like it was going to fall off like the other customer I said this is ridiculous we been in here a long time The Alarm is going of, the machines are not working I'm wasting time because your machines are not working, I ask for CEO contact information. I was frustrated at this time and wondered if I should get a Costco card instead.
Desired outcome: I still strongly believe we should have been compensated for all of the things that took place including me having to take time to write this to you. how to resolve, perhaps a $25.00 gift card for me and my sister.
