I contacted the Salvation Army three times to get help paying my electric bill, I am 65 and have diabetes and really can't afford to have my electric shut off due to my insulin.
There was no response from anyone in those three attempts. They sit there and beg for money yet when someone is in need, they just ignore the requests. I have never seen anything like that. Don't beg for money if you're not willing to help or kind enough to at least send a response.
Recommendation: Don't give to this charity there are better charities to give too.
No that problem is they did not respond. A simple yes or no would be nice. Most legitimate businesses would respond to their inquiries by email or phone call.
Well in fact it seems like you are begging as well. You are begging them to pay your electric bill.
