Most of these crisis counselors arent professionals. They are random joes. Its like a blind person doing surgery.
The crisis "counselors" can be abusive and nasty. That causes more damage to texters. Dont advertise yourself as "saving peoples lives". 741741 shouldnt be able to get away with hiring rude crisis counselors. They need to be held accountable for causing harm to texters.
Improve your company and dont hire rude workers. Make sure they know how to communicate and handle texters' crisis.
If you had a bad experience with this organization, call them out on their bs.

alot of the so called counselors " are very disfunctional. " i worked on a crisis line yrs ago.
i liked the work, but the people are messed up.
we ned to stand up for decent mental health help in the usa!
