This company sent me a replacement mower earlier this year due to a safety recall on the one I purchased a few years ago. Within a few uses, the mower would either shut down or the blades would stop working even though the mower was still running. After waiting six weeks waiting for a resolution their suggestion was for me to take the mower to a certified Ryobi service centers which is a 2 hour drive or I have to pay out of my own pocket to sent it there.
Claimed loss: since I was hesitant to use a potentially defective product, I had to pay someone to mow my yard for the last six weeks. That cost me $300.
Desired outcome: Either replace the batteries and mower or at least offer to pay for the money I had to spend to have someone mow my yard for the last 6 weeks.
