This company was top-notch. They were professional, courteous, did a great job with my reconstruction, and answered all my questions. They worked with my insurance company, with good results. Once the job was complete, they left my condo nice and clean. I recommend this company.

Please do research on this company before hiring them. Ask if they will be using the estimate their company provides or the insurance estimate. Ask lots of questions. Ask if the workers are licensed. Read the reviews and complaints on this site for very good detailed information.

My experience with RMJ construction was outstanding. PM *** and job supervisor *** and crew were on time and finished work ahead of schedule. Work trucks clean and organized and having 4 rooms water damaged now looking better than pre loss you can't ask for more than that. Their clean up so good you would never know they were there.

RMJ and Crew are the very best! I trusted them as soon as I met them! This reconstruction crew is very professional and very concerned about the customer and their feelings. If anyone were to ask me for a recomdation for a resconstruction crew, I would immediately recommend RMJ and crew; that means Ecotec, and Elite Pack Out. RMJ was very helpful in getting my house repaired throughout my loss. I had a water heater burst and flooded my laundry room and bedroom. The estimator came out and provided an estimate to my insurance company and had it approved in a couple of days! The project manager worked with me to make sure that everything was completed the correct way and that it was to my satisfaction. I would recommend RMJ to anyone who needs repairs taken care of on their property.

I found all of the people from RMJ to be very professional in the handling of our issue. They were always on time for everything they scheduled. We found our project manager Brian Ray to be very professional. He thoroughly reviewed our damage and set a schedule to have the work completed in a timely manner. When the work was complete he walked all the rooms to make sure we were satisfied. Thank you Brian for making what is a difficult living situation easier.

I was referred to them by EcoDry Restoration. This Business is Unprofessional. They do a terrible job. We had water damage and they were supposed to fix our cabinets, counter and flooring. Counters are chipping. Floors are cracking. The wood divider they replaced on the floor that separated the rooms has already came off and have now broke. Cabinets drawers are crooked. This company was more trouble than anything else. They were sending people to my home who seemed unskilled and probably unlicensed at that because the job should have been better.

Not at all happy with this company. I contacted them instead of them contacting me as I was told. It took them 2 more days to get to me. Then they wanted all of the money up front to do the job. I was told that the "project manager" would be assigned and that person would contact me. This took well over a week. It took so long for them to just assign a project manager that I decided that they were a risky business to be involved with. I decided to cancel the work order. Then, they sent a $500 bill they want paid because I did not give them 3 days notice for cancellation. They must need to do this because they have a lot of people cancelling with them. I have worked with other "professional" companies that do not feel the need to collect up front for services or charge a $500 cancellation fee. Very unprofessional company.

RMJ Construction exceeded my expectations. A few weeks back I noticed that when I ran by garbage disposal, water was leaking under my sink. I contacted my Home Warranty company and arranged to have a plumber come out and look at it. He ended up replacing the garbage disposal and told me that it looked like there could be some water damage. He offered up a company to come out and review the damage. Later that day, my kitchen cabinets had been removed and the dry out process begun. Once that work was finished, I was recommended to RMJ Construction for the rebuild. The entire process with RMJ went as good as could be expected. My kitchen has now been restored to how it was before the water damage. What could have been a very stressful situation turned into a positive one. I would recommend RMJ Construction to any family and friends who find themselves in a similar situation

We were referred to RMJ Construction by *** after experiencing a leak within our 2nd floor bathroom that damaged the 1st floor ceiling drywall. RMJ Construction was professional and patient every step of the way. They worked within our budget and our timeline. We needed extra time to diagnose the leak, time which RMJ Construction was accommodating of our schedule. They were never pushy or eager to finish the. job. When it came time to repair the ceiling, the quality of work was exceptional. The repaired area looks better than original. We've received compliments from Friends, family, and neighbors regarding the quality of work performed by the *** staff. When I was unable to provide a pain sample in order for them. to properly color match, they opted to repaint the entire room ceiling if the paint. did not match 100%. I am very happy with the RMJ Construction staff, their professionalism, and the quality of work they performed. I will likely call them back for potential future projects and remodeling.

We contacted RMJ Construction to provide estimates for repairs to our home after a water leak in one of our bathrooms. In addition, we asked them to provide an estimate for a larger remodeling project we wanted to get done. First, it took over 2 weeks to get a call back from any representative from the company. We finally did receive a call and agreed to have their rep come out and go through the house and go over the project and provide an estimate. They did that and we received an estimate totalling app 37,000.00. We asked them to come back out as we wanted to make some changes and review the estimate. Before that happened we received a letter in the mail from a debt collection agency called Corporate Lien Services LLC. This letter was telling us we were being informed that there would be a lien placed on our property for over 40,000.00 for work we never had RMJ perform. We had not even finalized the estimate for the work. I called RMJ immediately and asked them what they were trying to do. The letter was requiring that we sign a statment and return it to Corporate Lien Services agreeing to a lien on our property. RMJ was argumentative when I called them. They stated that they send these out ahead of time just in case we decided to have them do the work and then not pay them. This is absolutely ridiculous and we believe this is a fraudulent scheme by RMJ and this collection agency to get an unsuspecting homeowner to sign a document and opening themselves up to some fraudulent lien and legal issues. THIS IS A SCAM! HOMEOWNERS BEWARE! We are reporting this to the Arizona Attorney General's office and the AZ Registrar of Contractors.

I recently contracted with RMJ Construction to perform interior and exterior re-build work after my water heater leaked and caused damage. I was referred to them by EcoDry Restoration, who performed the dry-out work. EcoDry Restoration and RMJ Construction partnered to provide deductible assistance insurance for customers. This offer was attractive, given this was a costly expense that occurred during these unprecedented times. Before contracting with RMJ, I thoroughly researched the company, and I did not like what I discovered. Their customer reviews, complaints filed with the ComplaintsBoard.com, and the responses to the reviews and complaints were horrible. I contacted RMJ to speak with them about the reviews and allow them to "tell their side of the story." I talked to Manny, the sales representative, over the phone and we met in-person. Manny took full responsibility and accountability for the company's past performance. He explained in great detail the decisive actions the company chose to resolve the problems. I felt completely comfortable with Manny's explanations and his commitment to ensuring my job would be completed to my satisfaction. After our conversation, I moved forward with the contract. From start to finish, my experience with RMJ was terrific. The contract experience was simple, straightforward, and no pressure. My Project Manager, Koby, was highly professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and paid great attention to detail. The various phases of my project were completed on time and without issues. The crew who performed the re-build work was incredible. They were clean, efficient, timely, courteous, and professional. They treated my belongings with the utmost care, and the work areas were kept in pristine condition at all times. Travis, the crew leader, kept me informed on the work they were performing, and openly invited me to inspect the work anytime. They happily corrected the smallest of issues. TJ did my carpet repair and cleaning. He did a fantastic job. TJ arrived on time and completed his work efficiently and promptly. Also, the company followed all COVID-19 guidelines to ensure their safety and mine. I am incredibly pleased with my customer experience and the work performed by RMJ Construction. My experience is a small demonstration of the company's efforts to restore its brand and reputation. However, I can attest to the fact that the company has made significant strides toward a complete turnaround with the way they engage with customers. I am comfortable recommending them. My sincerest thanks and gratitude to every member of Team RMJ that worked on my project. You guys rock! Keep up the excellent work!

We had a flood in May and although quoted as a 3-4 week job it took 7 months for our home to be repaired. RMJ did a very poor job on all aspects of the work and damaged things not related to the flood including breaking our counter tops and floor tiles. Our insurance company assessed $12k in damages done by RMJ for which we had to file a 2nd claim on our insurance. Our counter tops were set at incorrect heights and we had a large gap between the backsplash and counter and the appliances did not fit underneath. Our kitchen island was bowed and too tall for the cabinets underneath, showing a large gap. We measured this and found one leg of the counter was higher by half an inch. We measured the kitchen cabinets and found them to be half an inch shorter than the standard height of kitchen cabinets (this will all make sense later in my post). Rmj took our alarm system equipment that was still plugged in and sealed it up inside the drywall creating a fire hazard. This is just a few of the many issues. They were consistently no showing for the work and refused to commit to a deadline , at wk 10 when we pushed for a deadline they told us they would get their lawyer to contact us and sent us a bill for $51k, our insurance check was for $42k. They claimed the extra $9k had been approved by our insurance yet our insurance told us that was not true. They were fraudulently trying to bill us for work that had not been done. I contacted the registrar of contractors and they were an amazing help. Their jobsite inspection concluded that almost every aspect of the work done did not meet the minimum industry standard. The registrar of contractors then caught RMJ using unlicensed workers and issued them a warning. This explains the $12k of damage that was done to our property, as the workers were unlicensed and unqualified. All workers on any job over $1000 must be licensed, they can not break it up by saying painting is $1000, drywall $1000 etc, any job over $1000 total must be completed by licensed workers. If they tell you otherwise, talk with the registrar of contractors. After they got their warning for unlicensed workers they told us that they did not feel that their work would suffice and asked to terminate the contract and then got their lawyer to send a demand for $20k. Whilst their worker had been in to remove the floor tiles, he removed the kick plates from the kitchen cabinets and this enabled us to see the cabinet boxes behind and we could see what looked like a large water stain along the bottoms of the cabinets. It looked as though they had reused the original water damaged cabinets. Our insurance company sent someone to investigate, he confirmed the water staining and noticed that there were holes inside the cabinets where the counter was originally connected, which shows that they were old cabinets and not brand new ones as they should have been. So it appears RMJ were going to try to pocket our insurance money. It also appears that they have cut or sanded half an inch off the bottom to remove some of the damaged wood and now it all makes perfect sense as to why our counters are all set too low and why they are half an inch off of the standard height. I called the registrar of contractors and they have also been out to investigate. Our lawyer contacted their lawyer regarding the demand for $20k and told him that we had discovered the water stains and within 5 minutes he called her to tell her that he had spoken with RMJ and that they would be walking away from the contract. Our registrar of contractors inspector also sent a email to the owner of rmj Seth J asking about the cabinets and saying in the email that to him they also looked water stained and not new cabinetry, Seth never answered him. We had to close the registrar of contractors complaint once they walked away from the contract to enable us to get someone qualified in to do the work. I do not recommend this company at all and for anyone that has found them self in a situation with them I would advise filing a complaint with the registrar of contractors and the attorney general.

I was referred to RMJ Construction by their sister company, ***. In order to provide an estimate to my insurance company, they had me sign a work order agreement which has a $500 cancellation policy at any time. RMJ was the first company I received an estimate from and I contacted several other contractors for estimates as well. When I contacted RMJ to determine when work would be started or completed, I was unable to get a hold of anyone and left a voicemail saying I would be working with another company that was more responsive and had better pricing. When RMJ finally contacted me back they said I now owed them $500 for cancelling the agreement even though no work had been done and no materials had been ordered. Now RMJ has sent me to collections for nonpayment.

In January, my husband and I had water damage to our home because of a toilet that was not installed properly (we bought the home in October ). I called our homeowners insurance to file a claim and so the process of referrals began. We were contacted by ECO Dry for remediation of the water and immediately referred to RMJ construction for repair. We waited for weeks for them to contact us to get an estimate. After the estimate, we waited another couple of weeks to start the construction process. In between this, one of their project mangers were fired. My husband had to initiate a call to find out why the process has been taking so long. Finally, after a month, the construction was in motion. The workers sent to do the repair were inexperienced. The paint job is not up to par, there are baseboards missing, and the work is unfinished. They attempted to do the flooring, which was throwing in and not correctly laid. My husband complained to the PM, only to learn that they were not professional floor layers. The PM admitted that since the project was so small, they could handle it. After complaining several times, the project manager sent the workers back and every time it looked the same. Finally, after weeks of complaining, the PM employed professional floor workers and that is the only part of the two bathrooms that looks great. RMJ employs unprofessional and inexperienced workers to save a dollar. For example, the workers showed up whenever they felt like it; unannounced. My daughter was in the shower and didn't hear the doorbell ring. She told my husband when she finally heard it; she immediately answered only to be called a "***" by one of the workers in our home! This was brushed off by the project manager as no big deal. The whole process was not pleasant, to say the least. We have given them more than enough time to rectify the problem. At this point, we have been inconvenienced for long enough and want to move forward.
