We signed a six figure contract for new windows and doors. What we got is an ongoing nightmare that is still ongoing. Pella Mid-Atlantic promised to use its own employees to install the windows and doors but instead, secretly, used a subcontractor. Our home was contaminated with lead and the installation was negligent and damaged our historic home. The doors that were supposed to match our old french doors were instead stock patio doors and the windows leak and are trimmed so poorly it looks like monkeys did the work. Run, don't walk, away from this sketchy company that as of today, hasn't fixed any of the problems they caused. Zero stars is too many.
Recommendation: Run away from Pella Mid-Atlantic.

New windows installed. Windows not installed or trimmed properly. Water leaking under window and behind siding, causing damage to siding. Called Pella and they said someone would call from service dept. Service did not return call. I called service dept and they said someone would contact me to setup time when they could look at issue. After 3 weeks nobody has contacted me. Installation warranty is 10 years for material and workmanship. These windows were installed March .

I signed a contract and gave them a deposit ($900) on June 14,2020 for the purchase/installation of a Pella Fiber glass entry door. I meet with Pella specialist on June 29 to do the final measurements on the door. I am/was scheduled for installation on August 19.On July 14,2020, I received a call from Pella, stating they were going to cancel my order unless I was willing to pay more money. I was told the reason for the increase was the paint. I informed them I had provided their specialist with cans of paint for my door and in the contract, it said I was only suppose to provide the paint color codes and I had done more, I had given them the paint. They really did not have a come back after my answer. At this point, I do not know where I am. I feel they need to honor our signed contract. Also, I can send you a copy of the contract and receipt for deposit.
