Republic Services review: I wish there was a zero star option

I've had the business services with R. S. for 10 months now and it literally been non-stop missed pick-ups; problems with billing i.e. double billing and misapplied payments; and NO resolutions in spite of HOURS on the phone to customer services and attempting to resolve issues on their website - which is basically useless. As a business owner I am amazed they are in business, but I assume it's due to their slightly lower pricing, and availability of different size bins/dumpsters. But words cannot capture aggravation and stress of trying to use this extraordinarily poor service. After doing everything I could to work with the company and resolve the bombardment of problems I finally tried to cancel service today and was told I had a service agreement for a year. I don't remember any service agreement and asked for a copy. The individual that I spoke with said she couldn't see it in my records, but "thought" I had one. I told her to provide me with a written copy ASAP. So, the cancellation is still pending. It literally never ends with them. They have 2,399 Better Business Bureau complaints on file - that says it all. PLEASE keep this review and all of those complaints in mind when considering the service.
