We went to buy a couple of onions at Superstore South Common in Edmonton, Alberta. All of the single red, yellow and white onions were from the USA but all the bagged onions were from Canada. Why are there no Canadian single onions on your shelves? This time of year one would expect an abundance of Canada onions. It begs to question whether Superstore is pandering to American producers at the cost of Canadian producers and Canadian shoppers. How come we went over to Save On and found Canada red and yellow onions on their shelves. As with many Canadians we are boycotting American products. It's bad optics for Superstore to be promoting USA produce over Canadians.
Desired outcome: We would like Superstore to be more loyal to Canadians.
