I shop at Loblaws at Dundas and Elmcreek in Miss at Mavis and Dundas frequently for many years as it is close to my home and is big and has everything I need. I am 64 year old upper middle-class guy and a business owner. The last few times I bought meat in packages I have been made quite angry. Today I bought a salmon fillet and pork chops. The salmon had a black thing that could have been a parasite? and had not been scaled. In the past salmon was always scaled anywhere I bought it. I did not even know salmon had scales until this occurrence. Plus, as it had a parasite? I had to cut off a lot of it and probably won't eat it. The pork chops looked good from what I could see until I opened them but underneath the top visible chops the butcher had hidden a big non-descript hacked up piece of boneless presumably pork. Plus it was dirty covered with fat and bits of bone. What the hell is going on here? I had similar but not as bad experience of hidden crap previously and due to the last one stopped going to Lablaws for a while. Do you think I am ever going back to Loblaws now? These butchers are truly disgusting human beings to be doing this, and the manager is as bad or incompetent to permit this.
Claimed loss: Just suggesting you stop this disgusting practice of butchers hiding [censored]e. If you think it's a good way to make money well, I am not shopping at Loblaws anymore because I don't like getting screwed by butchers. Maybe I am not the only one.
Desired outcome: You should probably fire the manager and the butcher or butchers who have the poor character and disrespect of customers to disgust and rip them off this way.
