This is so bogus they adverise leather handbags but they send plastic unless you pay an extra 20.00 per bag which is never spelled out until you see the charge on your bank statement.
The "company" lied about their service. They said they had someone who wanted to buy my timeshare. When, in fact, they are not a real estate company at all. They are an "advertising company", but still told me that someone wanted to buy my timeshare. Hmm... then, they didn't even follow through with advertising. And, every time I would call, email, call, email to find out what was going on, I would get no response. They ripped me off! BEWARE!
About a year ago I purchased an HP Photosmart Digital camera. For the first several months I was very happy with my camera & its superb image quality.
It recently had a lens malfunction and when I called Tech Support I was told to ship the camera to their manufacturer. I shipped the defective unit to them back at the beginning of October. It was bad enough that I had to shell out over $30 just to send it to them, but little did I know I was in for much worse.
Last week I tried to call the HP Support line to check up on the status of my camera. After going thru that ever-so-frustrating "voice recognition" nonsense, I was finally routed to the proper area where I remained on hold for almost two hours after which I hung up in frustration.
So I tried to access whatever information I could through the website only to read a page which stated "Our records are currently offline. Please try again later."
The next day I tried calling back, only to wait 3 hours. Again I was forced to hang up after such a wait. Once again I went to the website, only to receive the same damn message. "Our records are currently offline. Please try again later."
After a 30 minute wait I was finally able to get thru to a live person with a think Indian accent whom I had to repeat my information at least 3 times. She then told me "I'm sorry, our systems are down & there's nothing we can do. Please try again tomorrow." I was LIVID.
This has been going on for over 5 days now. This is inexcusable! Is THIS what HP thinks of their customers? I vow to never purchase another HP product ever again.
Im writing you in regards of my bad experience from Best Buy service, Best Buy customer service. I bought very nice (as I thought) and very expensive Whirlpool washer and dryer from Best Buy store in Madison, WI back in February, 2006. Since then it was like a nightmare for me, my wife and our three kids. Washer had issues with it from the first day they delivered it to my house. Water was leaking and I called technician. It took for him (Tom) to arrive 10 days. He so called fixed it and went away; needless to say it broke again. And I called, and he fixed it and it broke again and again and again. So, 8 times since March 2006 I was without the washer for couple of weeks every time it broke. And, I forgot to mention, at one point water damaged ceiling in my lower level.
Finally, it broke down again on October, 2008. And I called the 1-800-number, and after 46 minutes on hold they scheduled service for October 22, 2008. That is 14 days without the washer with 3 young kids! Technician was scheduled to be here in between 8-12pm today, but he never came.
My question to you is: What kind of service is it? You charge that much money for service plan and then what?
I, probably, will never buy anything from Best Buy again.
Incident:
I purchased a pair of couches. After about a while I felt something move back. I realized a piece of wood from the frame was coming loose, so I ripped off the back of the couch fabric to fix, and I saw what a horrible mess the construction was. None of the wood was put on right. It completely fell apart on one side and was hanging on by a thread on the other. These couches have been used by a single female. Nothing crazy, no kids. There has been minimum wear and usage.
Damage Resulting:
I am going to have to completely throw out the couch. It can't be fixed because even if I wanted to put real screws in instead of the cheap bended metal they used, I cant because the gnarled metal is covering the wood and a screw can't go through it. I am out $1300. These couches are only a couple years old at this point. I just paid them off and now I have to throw them out.
Saab spent 6 months building a car I ordered, which was not built as ordered and has numerous computer, mechanical, and electrical issues. Saab is not honoring their 3 year 36, 000 mile warranty. The car is less than 6 months old with less than 1300 miles on it. I have already had to shell out thousands to fix mechanical and electrical issues. The computer issue can't be fixed because the after service center doesn't have the software to fix the car's computer. Apparently, Saab Korea only does 90 day warranties on brand new cars and 30 days for used. This makes absolutely no sense.
Saab dealership committed check fraud and the parent company committed accounting fraud based on the documents I collected during this ordeal. 2 different accounting data on the deposited checks prove it along with additional evidence showing actual water washing of 1 of the checks. I have also discovered that Saab breached their own sales program by overcharging me, breaching the original sales contract, not to say that they sent me a few other invoices that continued to charge more for the car. Evidence to unscrupulous business practices and extortion by Saab.
I cant believe that this ### of the earth could actually try to hurt these innocent people into giving them their hard earned money. I am a 35 year old women with three children. This person would not only be taking from me, but from my children. And the bad thing about this is I thought what if I were a 60 year old women on a fixed income. At 35 I could probably recover from something like this, but not the elderly. God will punish these people for this, cause god doesn't like ugly. My advice to this ### bucket is to get off your butt and earn a honest living.
My Hoover ACM16 washing machine lasted as long as the warranty, then the circuit board fried and the machine had to be scrapped. I would not recommend.
Reported the noise to Beko after 4 months. The bolts have sheared off hence the concrete falling out, and I am being told this machine is repairable. I do not want a 4 month old machine repaired - just a refund for selling me a piece of defective junk. Still in negotiations with the store.
Myself and my family have just returned from a villa holiday in Majorca while there our villa was broken into the back door was wide open and over a £1000 worth of our possessions and clothes were taken obviously this ruined our holiday but we thought well at least we have insurance and can claim it back, we got a police report and once home called Tesco insurance to report it to be told as we could not tell them how the thieves had gained entry our insurance was void they did not even want to see the police report or ask what had been taken there was no sympathy just coldness and very rude customer care, we were even told we should have taken everything out with us every time we went out (how many people do you know that when on holiday walk about with a suitcase full of clothes?) Even the people I rang to get replacement E111 cards and driving license were sympathetic and said how sorry they where but not Tesco. We have bought Tesco travel insurance, car insurance for years but this was the first time we have ever tried to claim, It has taught me one thing the people who stole from us I can forgive as they may have nothing Tesco are bigger robbers than them they have billions and now I know why. I will never ever give them another penny of my hard earned money oh and by the way I work for them and have done so for 20 years.
After 18 months of ownership the TV failed terminally - Samsung "Customer Care" not interested! I will not be purchasing another Samsung product. If Samsung are serious about quality then they should offer more than the bare minimum in terms of warranty.
Stay away from this set. Owned this TV for 24months (under warranty) breaks every six to seven months from sound to no video and bad power supply.
The television was bought from Beyond Television.com as they offered the best price at the time, the scart socket on the back of the television has just recently become defective and also the Audio has stopped working so in total 2 defects. I have not had any satisfaction from Toshiba Customer Services they will not return my phone calls and it is almost impossible to get through to them by telephone to arrange for the TV to be repaired. I have made numerous attempts to contact them by email and telephone although they ignore my requests. I would not recommend this product due to the poor Customer Service and faults to the television.
My Sony FS315B laptop was defective straight from the box. It is unable to install software, read disks, or reliably write data to the hard disk. Very Poor response from Sony VAIO Support. They mainly rely on the Customer to do all the diagnosis while they just sit there. Ignoring the fact that it doesn't work, you also have the "bonus" of the Sony "Locked" version of Windows XP installed, which has some hateful quirks in it. ALL Sony laptops do NOT come with ANY install disks! Sony "create" a recovery partition (usually 7.5Gb of hard drive space) to store the info that should be on the install disks. If you install the "proper" Microsoft version of XP, the Sony VAIO warranty ends. I do not recommend Sony Vaio products.
I find the Advent 9517 Recon to be very unreliable and had been back more than once, also after 28days when I tried to get the laptop replaced I was told by PC World that under the law they had no legal right to replace it, the PC World Management was not helpful. My laptop still does not work on battery.
The battery life on the Toshiba A60 is terrible, even from new. The memory and overall computer is very poor. I paid nearly £700 for this laptop a couple of years ago and it has been nothing but trouble, I cannot tell you how much important work I have lost!
The Toshiba A60-157/Lite was good for first few months, lots of space on computer.Very slow, bad graphics, bad sound quality, within the first year four different parts of the laptop had broken, and just after the first year another part broke on the motherboard which should never happen and it is not completely useless and unable to be used. Never experiences anything like it with any other model.
Cannot believe I wasted £800 on this BenQ Joybook 5000U. Have tried everything to get it to work on various wireless connections yet still keeps dropping connection all the time. I have got so frustrated with it that I have emailed Benq via their website only to find that after 6 weeks there is still no reply from them. All I can say is that their customer support is appalling too. Am planning on chucking it out of the window when I have replaced with another, better laptop! DO NOT, I repeat do not buy a Benq Joybook as you will be sorely disappointed!
Trying to sell my shares as the market was up after it was down for a long time. The online and telephone service of computer share was not working all day. On 19-9-08 the 0870 number answer and keep you waiting then ask you to ring back later so the only gain on the day is computer share premium line.
I contacted the AT&T store on Bridge Street in Syracuse New York where I purchased the Blackberry 7105 but was told that they could not help me repair, replace or find a solution to my problem. AT&T warranty rep told me they would send me a new phone for the price of a new phone. WOW... customer service at its worse. AT&T is selling defected products at the expense of its customers. Maybe that is a new way of making money off of unsuspecting consumers.
Texting was a total nightmare, had the options, of font size and the large is smaller than what I am typing, I have good eye sight and honestly could not read texts, and as for writing them you need binoculars, writing is so so tiny. Your contacts, you can only have the name, NOT name and number together like all other Nokia's I have had, takes ages to find number as everything on this phone is a page within a page, then you forget how you changed what you did, worst phone ever.
I made a deposit at the Wachovia Atm Machine on Lynhaven Parkway at 3:55 pm. I woke up this morning and saw Wachovia online a overdraft fee of 105 dollars from my account. So I called Wachovia. There policy is deposit by 4pm and the money will be there the next morning. I was told it was deposited at 4pm and 23 seconds and because of that they charged me this morning and overdraft fee of 105.00 dollars. I was told its there policy. So I checked the Atm and the atm machine is approx. 3 minutes faster than my watch, car and cell phone. So watch out folks they will find a way to get your money. Desperate times.
Received unit. Two friends happy with product. They have PCs and I have Intel based MAC with supported OS system. Product was not recognized on loading. Called customer service (oxymoron term for this company) via chat and did everything they said and finally passed me to higher support level. They repeated every step given previously and it still did not work. I went to friend's home and my unit was also not recognized on his computer although his magicjack loaded without problem.
I contacted tech support again and said what had been done and that it would not load on my friends computer who had successfully loaded his magicjack. I suggested that this indicated a faulty product and I would like to exchange it. Higher tech support said to do everything that had been done before and when I questioned it, she rudely informed me that chat would end because of my attitude.
I think tech support is outsourced and company should change this section and give to another company. It is the most acknowledgeable and rude service I have encountered. Several other posters have said the same thing and my experience verifies theirs. I am sure many others have also had this experience but they do not post.
Our Bosch TKA2801 coffee maker started to leak after 4 days. The styling is cool but with such poor quality it's not worth buying.
The machine is from a renown coffee maker. Though for a straight forward filter coffee maker it is quite pricey, expect to pay between 30-60. For this price and from Gaggia I would expect a faultless coffee maker. But has anyone like me filled the machine to the maximum and watched what happens? The jug overspills! Even the cheapest machines don't do that, the last one I had had a jug that was a bit larger than the water tank.
