Planet Fitness review: Employees

On January 23 we were aggressively approached a young girl and another employee whom the young lady claimed to be the manager pertaining to my husband wearing crocs, she proceeded to say very loud and completely disrespectfully that those shoes weren’t allowed in here and that we could stay just for just for today. My husband then asked if we could see that in writing because we’ve never add issue in all the years of being members at any facility. Once she handed us a paper she then very loudly told us we had to leave because she didn’t like how asked for documentation, and it was up to her weather we stay or not.

My husband told her I have shoes in the car and he changed into some tennis shoes at this point so we could finish our session. Upon exiting the employees we’re all huddled up behind the counter and basically chastising, laughing and harassing us as we proceeded to exit. I asked the young lady whom was not privy to the altercation was everything okay and she stated “you can leave or I’ll call the cops” now I’m completely lost at this point. I can see that theses are young adults and I’m very much older. I thought it best to request the manager information which they were very reluctant to provide. To my surprise he next morning the manager called and told us our membership was being revoked and blamed us for the harassment based on the words of the employees. Now I’m completely disappointed completely the employees would fabricate the story and even more disappointed of the fact the manager never gave us a chance and basically had his mind made up also not being truthful stating he spoke with other members. I understand having for employees back but this situation was very unethical on so many levels, for you to basically take what the employee said as the truth. I can honestly say I have never been so embarrassed there were other members there as well stating we need to call corporate we were not the only ones shocked about the unnecessary treatment
