PC Richard & Son KitchenAid dishwasher

In March of 2020 I purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher (Invoice # [protected]) with a 2 yr extended warranty. In May of 2022 said dishwasher stopped working! PC Richards serviceman ($200) said it needed a new main control panel. Two weeks later we were told the panel was no longer available! Sooo now we had to get a new dishwasher and you can probably guess I wasn't going to purchase it from PC Richards.

When the new dishwasher arrived and the installer came to install, he found he could not get the KitchenAid dishwasher out! It had been installed in a manner that made it impossible to remove. I then called PC Richards ("we service what we sell") to send a serviceman to uninstall the dishwasher they installed. The man I spoke to when I called (while difficult to understand) was not being very helpful with my situation so I asked if I might speak to a manager. He said he would connect me and then hung up (this after lots of minutes waiting for him to return to our conversation). I very much need this KitchenAid dishwasher to be removed and hope you will assist me.

PC Richard & Son Service for Samsung dryer

I have been waiting for three weeks to get my dryer repaired. The company canceled my original service date. Then sent a tech that did not diagnose the problem correctly. They then sent another technician that came with the wrong parts and could not repair the dryer. I was told that they had to order parts and when the parts came in, my repair would be scheduled immediately. Well the parts have been in for over a week and now I have been given a service date two weeks out. I have had to miss three days of work and now have to wait for a repair that should have been taken care of weeks ago.

The service reps assured me that I would get a call from a representative that could address the problem but no call has come.

Desired outcome: Please expidite my service call

PC Richard & Son Subzero Refrigerator / ordering and delivery

On or about June 8th 2021 I have placed and order for subzero. refrigerator ( order # [protected]) . At that toem I was told that refrigerator should be delivered around October 2021, later it was. changed to November, then February then March. I received a call from PC Richards and son representative and was told that refrigerato finally arrived and should be delivered on March 22. Few days before delivery date I was informed that the refrigerator was no longer available and I was informed that Subzero "pull it out".

I have contacted Subzero and it turned out. that Subzero does not deals directly with PC Richard but only with distributors/warehouses and the information I received was incorrect. I have contacted PC Richards again in person, and spoke with manager ( Pedro) who was kind enough to spend time with me and listed to the whole story. Next day I recived a phone call from him to infom me that my refrigarator "just arrived to warehouse" what a concident. Anyway, delivery was scheduled on May 25th ( 11 am- 2 pm) however I have called and tried to get some information and it is already 4 pm, none of the representative are available to speak with me at this time, I have asked for Pedro who stepped out and Solomon left for the day. I am officially reuesting an investigation in PC Richards practice of manipulation and gray market deals involving my order.

PC Richard & Son Damaged range

While remodeling a home, I purchased an expensive LG gas range. I purchased in November 2021 and it arrived in January 2022. I was not there for delivery, did not sign any delivery form, in fact, I was not made aware of the delivery. With that being said, I was unable to examine the item upon delivery to send it back. The box was opened this month for install and the range had significant damage. The damage was caused by a lot of force as if the warehouse dropped a refrigerator on top in the warehouse. I am told by PC that they cannot replace the item because it has been over 30 days since delivery even though it is clearly just out of the box.

LG is unable to repair the damage because of how extensive the damage is. The LG technician told me that PC definitely owes me a new range but alas, I cannot reach anyone with the company. I am now having to file a formal complaint with the Attorney General of the State of NY for PC Richard not upholding their agreement. I would add photos, but I am also struggling to receive those from the repair company that came out.

I will NEVER purchase from them again. I am out over $3,000 because no one is willing to claim responsibility!

PC Richard & Son Samsung Refrigerator

on 6/12/21 I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator at store #45 in East Brunswick , nj. It was a floor model with damage on freezer door handle. Management promised me replacement of freezer door. It's now been 8 months and still no replacement. I returned to store on 4 separate occasions, speaking to both store manager and supervisor. They keep telling me it's on order. Can you please help resolve issue.

PC Richard & Son Bosch dishwasher

PC Richards is the worst place you can imagine doing business with, they treat their customers like crap, case in point. My wife and I have done a lot of business with the Newington, CT store. Almost three months ago, we bought a Boush Dishwasher they had on sale.

The dishwasher was delivered to our home and we waited a week for our plumber to come and install it. He installed the piece, turned it on and it didn't work. I called PC the next day and asked if we could have another one that works. I was told that a service repair person would have to come out first, they made an appointment and 30 days later he shows up.

He takes the dishwasher apart, tells us it was a bad wire, and goes on his was. The dishwasher works for about 30 minutes and then gives us the same error code that we had gotten before (E10)

We call back the store and beg for another machine and we're told no, service has to come out again which they want to schedule 3 weeks down the line, so we've had a dishwasher in our house for three months that never worked and we can't even get an exchange, do not do business with these people, they treat their good customers like garbage!

Desired outcome: As you could imagine I'm never doing business with this company again so I would like them to pick up that piece of garbage they sold us and credit our account, BEST BUY here I come

Hi Mr or Ms Michaels.

Something appears to be happening with the heating coil associated with heating the water coming into the tub. Either the coil isn't heating properly or the sensor isn't reading properly.

The process of having a technician confirm a problem is so an appliance isn't being replaced whereas it not being the issue. Reasonable. However having a problem so closely behind an initial visit is not.

It sounds like they're trying to accommodate you. Let us know if there is any further issues.

PC Richard & Son My home got damaged and so did my refrigerator

Good afternoon,

My name is Theodora Slone and I got a new fridge yesterday 3/3/2022. The two men that came did not bring a moving dolly or a moving blanket. They scratched my hardwood floor, my kitchen floor, they scratched my molding as well. I am so upset- I just did an entire remodel of my home and work very hard in my day to day life. When telling the guys they were creating damage they did not care and were unkind. They dragged the fridge out of the house and into my home as well.

Desired outcome: I would like money because now I have to repair my home. Also, the people PC richards hires should be kinder/ more caring about other people's property.

PC Richard & Son Portable compact washer

I purchased a compact washer and a 5 year warranty. It was delivered out of the box. Not only didn't the delivery men do nothing with installation but failed to deliver a part. On top of the washer was a paper which says do not discard packing until all parts are accounted for. There is also a picture included of the part which is packed on the top of the box. I don't know when or if I will ever receive the part. PC Richards delivery and customer service is terrible!

Desired outcome: Part is supposed to be ordered. Date of delivery ?????????????? I want everything that I paid for!

PC Richard & Son Bosch Dryer

I bought a $4500 washer and Dryer with a waurentee that if it didnt work would have service and a new one. I called for 2 weeks every day! finally got a service person that cancelled twice last minute. First time the night before and second time an hour before! I can't be without a clothing dryer for 3 weeks! total scam! I want a new dryer delivered to my apartment this week! I am getting nothing but a run around. PC Richards lied and sold me a bull, service agreement! you don;t stand behind your products or service! I filed a complaingt with the BBB.

PC Richard & Son Relax recliner - black

On 2/5/22 I bought a recliner chair nearly $1000 purchase with the option to take away old one as I always do with everything I buy from you with an additional cost to haul away. The shipment was coming on 2/8/2022 in which I took the day off work to be there to receive it. I get a phone call on that day saying they will not haul away the old chair after I payed the extra charge to haul away making me miss a day off work UNPAID. Invoice No. for this was [protected] I have bought thousands of dollars from your stores throughout the years to be treated this way. PC Richard always hauled away my old appliances and old goods. This is a very unfair thing that was done to me now I don't have a new recliner like I wanted to have. I hope something is done about this to keep me as the loyal customer I have been.

PC Richard & Son New TV

I bought a TV on February 10th I was advised by Louis the salesman that the stock boy opened the box by mistake they gave me a price of 629 for the TV I got home and it was all loaded with people's information email addresses names and everything if I had known the TV was used I would not have bought it the manager said bring the TV back I threw the box out and it's all my wall I did not buy a used TV I bought a new TV or else I would offer the less money and 629 for used TV I will deal with PC Richards for years never had problem feel free to call me [protected] Vincent Danza thank you for your quick response to this

I can appreciate your frustration Mr. Danza.

Normally open box pieces are non-returnable, but there are exceptions that can be made. Unfortunately the product needs to be returned in the same form as it was purchased, part of this is the box and packaging.

It might help to simply reset the television. It will place the firmware on the same form as coming out of the box as a new television.

Hopefully this helps.

PC Richard & Son Complaining about a rude employee in the warranty service department

Hello,

My name is Murad Zaman phone number associated with my account is [protected]). I called the warranty service department today at 1-800-696-2000. A representative named Jonathan had answered the call at 10.22 am on 02/01/2022. He was very rude, didn't let me speak, always spoke over me and then hung up the phone while I was talking. I will request a manager to counsel him for his unacceptable behavior. I am thinking to take my business else where for the future purchases. (Please check my purchase history) I have a refrigerator broken for two weeks and service department not even near repairing the refrigerator. In addition, I have to put up with your rude employees, that is not fair at all. I would request a manager to call regarding this issue ASAP. Thanks.

PC Richard & Son Your manager

Dear pc richards, I am a long time buyer in your succasunna nj. Bought all our kitchen appliances, 3 tvs, and remote starts for 3 cars. Danny in the back garage did a great job. My son lives in ct, wanted a remote start for his truck, I told him call pc in ct. Called him back on sunday told him dont buy from you, here is why. My wife found a small tv for the kitchen, went up on sunday morning to buy it. She put her credit card in and it said, can not complete, the girl punched in the register again, tried the card again and the same thing, can not complete. I have a different credit card company, so I tried my card 2 times, again it said can not complete. She calls the manager who was half way across the store for help and he never came over to help, from across the store he says call your credit card company. I tell him its 2 different card companies and my wife card has a 500.00 limit and mine is unlimited. The tv was only 179.00. The guy never even had the courtesy to come to help us. Went to shoprite after your store and her card worked. I would have walked out but she wanted the tv. So between the 2 of us we paid cash. Something had to be wrong with your card machine or the internet. Its not the idea of the money, its the guy never even tried to help us, and made us look like fools that our cards would not work. I belong to the teamsters union, and I will be putting this in our news letter we get each month. And im glad that I told my son not to get the remote start, thats 300.00 less for your store. I am sorry I had to do this, but I will not buy from your store again. I know you dont care what I write because im just one person spending 179.00, but I have spent a lot of money in your store over the years because you had good prices and the sales people were good, but I am done with pc richards. PC Richard & Son Delivery

I Purchased a portable washing machine on Tuesday January 11, 2022, I was told that my delivery was coming on Friday, January 14, 2022. so I took the day off. I miss the call for confirming my delivery, Because I do work and cannot answer my phone, but there was never any voice message, I just happened to call to find out my delivery schedule.
The gentlemen told me that my order was cancel and he has to see if they still have the washing machine. he gave me the delivery dates which was Tuesday Thursday and Friday. I calls him back and say schedule me for Tuesday. He never called by that evening. I call Friday morning and young lady say she will call back. she didn't. So I called again to only find out that Tuesday is all booked up. After I took of work again for Tuesday. this is beyond unfair. I took off two day and still no delivery. and they are telling we can try for another day. I am not taking another day off of work because PC Richard on 125th street can't get it together. please I need some to llook into this

PC Richard & Son Service Call [protected]

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher less than 2 years ago. After calling service over 3 weeks ago to discover the drain pump needs to be replaced, I patiently scheduled my service call for today, 12.31.
I received multiple confirmations for the tech to arrive today but also a cancellation for which I called to correct and was confirmed by a rep. I received both emails and texts yesterday confirming my appointment. I started tracking the tech and when I was "dropped" after too many attempts, I called to confirm he was indeed coming. Your rep ASSURED me that dispatch said he was on the way before my 2:30pm end time. As of now (3:45pm), no one has arrived. Tried calling back by the offices are closed due tot he holiday. This is BY FAR the worst customer service experience I have received from a company that I believe in. My NYE plans had to be rearranged as I spent an entire day sitting home waiting for a tech who was confirmed and no respect given to fulfill on that promise. I would expect a response from someone regarding this lack of communication and un professionalism.

Desired outcome: I want a tech to come on Monday morning to fix this dishwasher.

PC Richard & Son Frigidaire range + microwave

I ordered a range from the store on October 22 and it arrived in Nov 7 broken! The control panel on the range didn't work. The technician saw that it broken when he installed yet and said that I would get a replacement or get it fixed... Several weeks later the stove is not fixed nor have I received a replacement. I don't want them to fix a brand new stove, which I told them. I paid $1, 400 for a good quality product that never should've arrived broken. I've showed up to the store several times asking them to just give me a return and refund but the store managers tell me to call the customer service line and the customer service folks tell me to talk to the store. Both keep giving me the run around and refuse to acknowledge the mistakes they've made. I've attempted to speak to them so many times that now that they're saying it's outside of the 30-day return period?! I've been complaining to them for several weeks and have never dealt with such unprofessionalism. Who sells people broken products and think fixing something broken is an okay solution when I'm paying $1, 400 for a brand new product? I want a full refund because I don't want to deal with this company ever again.

It's been weeks since I posted this complaint... PC Richards claims to have responded and "resolved" my complaint but still spoken to me about next steps or made any efforts to make things right as they claimed here. I have reported the store to my state's consumer protection agency.

PC Richard & Son Frigidaire Refrigerator

Appliance was installed on 19 November 2021 and after the installers left Is when I noticed they took out a nice size chunk of my wall and I noticed a stain spot on the front of the freezer door side and the icemaker was not functioning.
Called the store they sent someone out to fix the icemaker on 27 November. He was unable to fix it. The service tech told me to buy a filter and service will reschedule for him to come back.
I called the salesman who sold me the merchandise and relayed the message from the tech and the salesman said that I do not have to buy a filter, that service will provide.
On 9 December the tech called me missing his time to show through (1- 5pm window - he called me at 4:35) and said I was supposed to buy the filter.
Now it seems they will order it, I was told by the salesman that a new freezer door would be ordered and after checking with service and parts it was not ordered, its not in the system. I called to speak with the manager, Andrew and he was busy yesterday. Didn't call me back. I called again today and a Rep said he's with a customer, so I left another message. Claims came out (Danny) on 3 Dec and said he would take care of the damage to my wall. Haven't heard from him since.

Desired outcome: If can't be resolved soon, new refrigerator

PC Richard & Son Damage to my front door upon delivery

Today 11/23/21 for invoice number [protected] for the delivery of fridge model RF25HMIDBSR, the two delivery men who made the delivery upon bringing the fridge into my home damaged my front door moldings on both sides. I have taken pictures which shows how the edges of the fridge made the damage. These two men were very unpleasant and did not want to listen to any concerns or questions I had regarding the fridge, as the last fridge I had delivered a few days ago was damaged in the front I wanted to be very thorough with examining the new one. On the delivery receipt it also mentions the dimensions and how the doors of the fridge should be taken off the ensure safely entering and exiting my home, which was not completed and resulted in damaged to my front door moldings which should never have happened. I have pictures of the damage to the molding on my front door but the attachments are too large to attach here, but are available for review when needed.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund of the damage that has occurred due to this delivery

PC Richard & Son Refrigerator

On November 5th, my wife picked out a replacement refrigerator at the rt 22 union, NJ store. She was told that it will get delivered on November 10, 2021. When she called on November 9th they gave her a run around by making her hold on for a long period of time and pass her to other period and still have to hold on. After she was told that they did not order our refrigerator, she asked for a manager. The manager told her that the refrigerator is coming Texas so no we not getting a refrigerator on November 10th.
