I purchased a stove hood fan at your store in Danbury CT. Initially I decided not to have you guys install it, but upon reflection I changed my mind and called back to have you install it. I was informed that a $50 dollar deposit was required, which I found odd since I was giving you money for a job you hadn’t done, but I paid it. You said that a survey team was required to come out first which they did on Wednesday April 9. It seemed that neither person spoke English and from their demeanor seemed to think this was a big job. They also said it would be. Installed the next day. I called the store on Thursday since I spent the whole day waiting for them to show up. No one ever did and when I spoke to the representative on the phone she said Charles my salesperson was out and that the survey team said I needed a power line installed which was ridiculous since a 20 amp line was already there and the light on the old fan was working. The fan motors were burned out. I’ve always had the highest regard for PC Richard because of your reputation for honesty and integrity. Also I was never informed that the $50 was not refundable if I cancelled the installation. So I wasted a whole day waiting for an install that never happened. I certainly wasn’t going to have two such incompetent people install my range hood. I went back to my handyman who I was going to originally install it. He did the job in an hour and it looks and works perfectly. Needless to say my trust in you was obviously misplaced and I am deeply disappointed. If you are really the honest operation you claim to be you will refund my $50 and review the competence of your survey teams.
