PC Richard & Son Whirlpool washer

Purchased a whirlpool washing machine in April 2022. Had PC Richards deliver the washing machine. Upon delivery the delivery person stated a hose extender would be needed. He quote “stated” I can install it for $50 cash or your husband can install it. Well being that I am a widow of 8 yrs at the time my husband would not be installing it. So I paid him the $50 cash. Now fast forward to Jan 2023 the washing machine starts leaking water and running very loudly. I have PC Richards service come an I am told as a result of it being installed wrong the hose was scrapping the floor which caused it to have pin size holes in it causing the leaking of water and also the hose extender should have never been installed the way it was. Now I need a new agitator and plate bc it is now defective bc of the way the hose was installed by PC Richards delivery person. I need someone to rectify this issue immediately!

Desired outcome: The washer to be replaced and the delivery person to be help accountable!

PC Richard & Son Product received

Purchase item on 11/21/22. charged in my pc Richard card in Jersey City NJ store. The computer purchased did not work, I called the company they did some troubleshooting with no success. They informed me to take it back which I did. They were supposed to have one shipped to store for pickup. I called them on 12/23/22 and was informed that the computer was discontinued and I would be refunded. I personally called the company and was told that was not true. Nor was my account refunded. My invoice number is [protected].

Desired outcome: I really need an address to write a complaint. But I actually want the computer at the same discounted price if not lower. But could someone please contact me at [protected].

PC Richard & Son Whirlpool refrigerator wrt112czjz refrigerator

my mother purchased a refrigerator 10/14/2021 model#wrt112cztjb ref inv#[protected] for $625.99 pc richards 550 gateway drive brooklyn ny 11239 including 2 years extended warranty.

On october 15 2022 she opened up her refrigerator to find everthing was in a puddle of water. The refrigerator had stopped working. She contacted pc richards and was told that she would have to pay for a loaner which she paid $253.00 plus $50 delivery fee, the loaner was dropped off 10/15/2022. They picked up the defective refrigerator.

She was informed that pc richards was going to replace the refigerator which they delivered on 10/20/2022 ref inv#[protected] at that point she was credited for the loaner $253.00 but not the delivery fee. She inquired about the spoilt food to the tune of about $150.00 was told since there was no photo she would not be reimbursted.

She have had the same exact thing happened again refrigerator filled with water after numerous service repairs (at least 3 visits) since 01/3/2023 to 01/18/2023

the problem persist.

Enclosed are photos of the latest water leak.

PC Richard & Son Maytag refrigerator

On 6/2/2022 I filed a complaint with NYC Consumer Affair regarding a defective Maytag refrigerator I purchased online from PC Richard & Son. The refrigerator I was given was not a new refrigerator it was refurnished.

My reference number was [protected]-CMPL NYC Consumer Affair investigated, and the Executive of PC contacted me and credited me with $600.00 to $680.00 for my food losses; and for me to go to the store to picked up a new refrigerator. On 6/11/2012 I went to the PC Richard & Son store located at 590 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217. My invoice number was [protected], I chose a refrigerator Frigidaire 30 in.18.3 cu ft top freezer with glass-black shelves. PC rep Richard & Son charged me an extra $100-200 difference

The new refrigerator was delivered to me on 6/17/22 Again, it was not a new refrigerator, it was refurnished because I called for services immediately.

The refrigerator was the door sealer that prevented both top and bottom doors to closed. t

The second refrigerator the bottom does not cool and the top freezes. Twice, I contacted PC Richard repair for services, but I still continue to have the same problem What I do is to unplug the refrigerator twice a week to prevent my food from over freezing.

I contacted PC Richard & Son Synchrony Bank my account number ends in 5852 and provided them with the situation; and PC Richard & Son send the van to pick up the old refrigerator with Maytag parts. Sychrony Bank representatives assure me they will look into the situation and get back to me. They did get back to me by harassing me to pay for a merchandise that I don’t have in my possession anymore. I am tired of having PC Richard & Son Synchrony Bank harassing me every day either via phone or emails for a merchandise that I do not have any more in possession.

I have underlined medical issues no one and each time I received a phone calls or emails make me sick. Synchronic Back never addresses my food loss from both defected appliances.

At this point I am tired of the harassment and being bully by Synchronic Bank, and I need information how to file a lawsuit against this company for selling refurnished appliance as new and for Synchrony Bank.

I am looking for a refund for my food estimate from 2021 to the present is closed $80, 000.00 and the harassment from Synchrony Bank.

Desired outcome: I want a fund and a lawsuit against the company and the bank

PC Richard & Son Whirlpool refrigerator WRS321SDHZ

I purchased this refrigerator in May 2022. It stopped working completely, I Waited a week for a service man. He came today and said he needed to order several parts to get it working again.

The refrigerator is no longer cold and the ice maker is no longer working.

I have no place to keep food now for over a week.

PC Richard & Son warranty on stove

called 2 weeks ago to get my stove fixed through warranty. An appointment was scheduled for dec 22 a few days before Christmas which i knew was a bad idea. some guy that calls himself the BOSS at the warranty call center name LOU (refuse to give his last name) EXT 2100 just calls me the day before my appointment on the 21st and cancel my appointment without any explanation and was very rude about it. this needs to be addressed

PC Richard & Son New Dishwasher Clogged

Just purchased and had installed a 28" Dishwasher for my Moms 70th birthday. But unfortunatley after 3 weeks it clogged up and stopped working. This was in the 1st week of November. She called the store , they said on Weds November 16th they would send a Technician. Nobody came. Now they tell us, no one will come until 12/1/2022. We've been PC Richard & Son costumers since 1987. Can you guys help us?

PC Richard & Son Samsung dishwasher

PC Richards customer service scheduled a service appointment for Thursday 11/17/22 between the hours of 10 am - 2 pm. Apparently the person call, when I went to answer the phone and said hello no one answered. Did not get another call. I called the number on the email and was informed that they were not coming because they didn't get through on the phone. How many time do I need to confirm when they sent a text message to confirm and I reply with "C". They also called the day before to confirm. How many times does a person need to confirm to have service come? When a customer makes an appointment they should show up! I took off from work and now I need to take off another day because Debbie at Dependable Appliance Services said they have to reschedule, I was here the whole time, they didn't even bother to show up or to call back the number. I asked Debbie at Dependable for a supervisor and she would not put a supervisor on to help resolve this issue. I went to the store in Levittown and spoke with Ernie who has been our sales person for many years, and he was not able to immediately solve the issue. PC Richard's service has been horrible since they started sub contracting out to these companies that don't care. This is the second time we had someone come from a third party and something has happened. The man that services my washing dropped his wrench in the machine and needed to come back with someone and they didn't schedule us for two week later. Years ago, it was always PC Richard employees that came out and were respectable, knowledgeable and show up! I guess I need to start looking else where to purchase items in the future.

Desired outcome: Expect the service company to show up for their appointments! PC Richards should not be using Dependable Appliance Services Inc. It makes seem like you no longer care about your customers.

PC Richard & Son New washing machine not installed & had several before and all installed by pc richard

This is the Turner's again. We have sent you this letter 2 times and you have never replied. Personally, very rude. Everything we ever purchased for our apartment was from PC Richard. We do not need this aggravation as my husband Mel has been under going RADIATION. We just wanted you to do the correct thing regarding that we had to pay for a plumber $150.00 to come in to hook up our new washing machine as your guys would not do it and left it in the middle of the kitchen. One despicable act. We felt that the least you could do is apply the $150.00 to an additional service contract towards the new washing machine. Not to much to ask!

Hoping you reply to this additional letter. It truly would be nice to hear from you.

Hi There - well it is the TURNER'S AGAIN

Not a very good day for us & had a T.I. A. (mini stroke) sot that is why this letter is late.

First I want to thank you for replacing a washing machine for us. We went to New Hyde Park and Steve was great. The best salesman we have ever had in 48 plus years. Purchased March 23, 2022 and delivered March 26, 2022

Okay, the new Washing Machine came early this morning, however, the men said we needed more hoses and only had one box with 2 Hoses in it. I am almost positive they had more on their truck. They said they could not install the Washing Machine from under the sink. Their problem seem to be the WASHING MACHINE is across from the DISHWASHER (PURCHASED IN PC RICHARD) DISHWASHER next to the sink.

We live in an apartment. Think this must be our 4th Washing Machine in 48 years living here all bought from all from PC RICHARD. The plumbing was all changed by PROFESSIONAL PLUMBERS WHO HAVE RETIRED NOW. The Plumber changed all knobs under the sink, one controls our Dishwasher, Washing Machine & one turns off all the water in the kitchen. Also put Cut-Off Valves for the Washing Machine so I turn them on when I use the Machine & turn it off when I am finished. The men who delivered the Washing Machine said we need 2 more hoses and they would not change the hoses even if we had 2 more. Told us they will not go under the sink.

When we first moved in to our apartment 48 years ago or so, a hole was cut into the underneath cabinet of the sink and hoses through the hole around the window on the floor and around the STOVE which we moved in with and purchased at PC RICHARD and into the WASHING MACHINE.

Now we are left with a NEW WASHING MACHINE in the Middle of our Kitchen. Installation was supposed to be provided. Now on the phone calling PLUMBERS and getting outrages prices. One was $350.00, others $275.00 etc. etc. They are all crazy. Finally found one who wanted $150.00 and finally our BRAND NEW WASHING MACHINE was INSTALLED. All this stress was not good. My Husband being diagnosed with PARKINSON'S 1 year ago and so grateful late in life and still early stages. Me 11 Heart Stents and T.I. A. mini strokes and now wearing a MEDICAL ALERT. I think you get the picture. These people treated us like SENIOR CITIZENS with no compassion for us at all. How wrong is that? We went through enough with our WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE which we loved and could never understand why the PANEL BUBBLED. The new washing machine might be our 3rd or 4th ALL FROM PC RICHARD.

So, now we are out $150.00 for a plumber to connect the new WASHING MACHINE which we paid for when we purchased our new LG WASHING MACHINE. Installation was included. My Husband Mel & I are hoping you again do the correct thing and in some way reimburse us. We were able to take out a 2 year contract so now and think about this. We are not asking you for reimbursements in cash. You can Increase the years on the CONTRACT we took out (2 YEARS) & any left over give us a credit or give us a $150.00 credit FOR PC RICHARD. Again, this I believe is our 4th WASHING MACHINE from PC RICHARD and the men who brought it to us INSTALLED IT. I am at a loss as to why this happened. I also still believe they did have extra hoses in their truck and was told by one of your REPS that they do.

Again we cannot thank you enough for what you did for us in replacing us with a new WASHING MACHINE. When I showed STEVE & others in the other 2 PC RICHARD they said we are lucky that it might have CAUSED A FIRE.

Again, hoping you take this seriously and again DO THE RIGHT THING! Enjoy whatever HOLIDAY you celebrate!

Hi, My Name is Nancy Johnson, I had a service appointment for November 4,2022 between the hours of 7am and 11am with your guy his name is Alejandra Hernandez for my stove range, upon him coming to my home and looking at my stove range he said it was grease that had waste on my back right

gasket head and my middle gasket head I tried to explain to him that I only used those 2 three times so why was it turning brown and black built up because the other three that I cook on all the time has nothing on it no grease no build up on it I told him if I spill something on it I wipe it off and it's fine I ask him to order two new gasket head burners to replace the old ones Mr. Hernandez reply no because it working he said I can take them off and you can clean it like I have a dirty home when he came in my home he can that my stove was not dirty I have white carpet on my living room floor and I have wood wax floors I have a very beautiful clean home I am not a dirty person. To me that was an insult then he asked me am I finish clean it yet like I was taking too long for him I am a Frontline worker I take my job serious.Tell me why am I paying for a service plan if I can't use it.

PC Richard & Son Bertazzoni products

To Whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter with great disappointment.

We are customers of PC Richards in Southampton NY.

In March of 2020 we purchased the Bertazzoni line for our home. We were excited about our decision and purchase.

At PC Richards we were shown other lines in the same price point however we were drawn to Bertazzoni. So we took the plunge and purchased The Bertazzoni Stove, Exhaust Hood,Refridgerator and Dishwasher .

Our appliances were delivered in May of 2020. We were remodeling our kitchen which delayed the delivery date .

Once delivered we had our local gas company come and hook up the stove. From the day we installed it we had a problem and still do to this day.

We have had 3 service people come to our home to regulate the oven. Once it reaches 350 degrees the fan turns on and does not go off so when you open the oven the flame goes out and you have to wait at a minimum 20 minutes for the fan to turn off in order to turn the oven back on. This is ongoing.

Secondly 2 years into having our new refridgerator the compressor has blown. The fee to fix it is 2000.00 . The refridgerator cost us 3000.00. Are you kidding me.

Needless to say after spending 9000.00 on these low grade high price point appliances We are disgusted and outraged.

Not Evan at Bertazzoni or Joe at PC Richards chose to do anything for us.

Not a return call, from anyone. I had to continuously follow up. I did not even recieve a return to the email I sent. Which I was told by Evan I had to send because it was the only way to speak with a supervisor. With no reply after 2 emails were sent I called again . This time Even became very as matter of fact and became rude as if it was an annoyance that I called again.

We are now out the money and 2 years into having new appliances that don't work I am junking them and going to LOWES to purchase new well rated products whose company have an outstanding client service record.

In todays times the consumer has many options on how and where to spend their money and I can tell you it will never be with PC Richards or Bertazzoni again.

In addition I will Always tell this story when we have guests in our home who ask how we like our choice of appliances. I will also be sharing this on social media and will be sure to tag the companies.

PC Richard & Son washer /dryer combo unit fridgedaire

bought this unit. over two months still not working. first the dryer was not working. two weeks to come out. another two weeks they were trying to fix it. ordered the part. was not able to fix it. then after a week they replaced the unit. installed the new unit. now the washer is not working. A week later the service guys comes the motor not working. needs to replace the unit. so 10 weeks later no working washer / Dryer. fully paid. but not able to use. and so many days i have to take from work because when the service person comes

PC Richard & Son LG Dishwasher

I purchased an LG Dishwasher in July. It worked for about 3 weeks. It wasn't draining, sounded like a 747 was taking off in my kitchen when it was running, and then it would cut off mid cycle. I received an error message OE. I went through the book to see what it was and it said that I needed to call. I did. I stayed home from work one day for an installer to come to see if it was installed correctly, this was in late August. They said it was and to call again for a service call. Waiting another week for an appointment. Person came at the end of August, said it was a pump or something that was faulty. He would have to order the part. For two weeks got messages saying they couldn't get the part. Finally the part came in. Took a week to get appointment. Had to take the day off from work again to wait for the service guy. Couple hours into the day on 9/19/22, I got a call saying that the service guy had a personal emergency and won't be able to come. I was furious. I rescheduled for later that week. Once again I had to take the day off from work. One hour into my wait on 9/22/22, I once again got a call saying the service guy had a personal emergency and they had to cancel again. PC Richards has no respect for their customers or my time. I lost $1500 in pay over just two day in one week waiting for some that was not coming. Clearly they lied to me. Funny they used the say lie twice in one week. I am now 3months with a broken dishwasher that they haven't fixed. I asked for a supervisor to call me today 9/22/22 , the scheduler said she would have someone call me. I never received a call. Not sure why I am surprised. They clearly don't care about their customers.

Desired outcome: To return the dishwasher for a full refund.

PC Richard & Son Maytag Washer Model MVWB 765FW

Every time we call PCR they send somebody to fix it but they never do.They always have to order a part & it takes a week or 2 to get it.

We've been waiting for over a month now.

There's no water going into the washer & it doesn't spin.

They came on Aug.22 & Sept 14,2022.

It's going to take another week & a half to get the part.

Next time I'll stick to local stores.

Desired outcome: I would like our washer fixed or a new one.

PC Richard & Son Samsung OLED TV

I bought my father a Samsung 58 inch OLED T.V. 2 years ago. I saw alot of boxes beat up when I was picking up my T.V. that day. I really didn't think anything of it because I have bought tvs here before and never had a problem. I should have thought twice, less than 2 years later it is dead and we only had a 1 year warranty. There is not a doubt in my mind that this was P.C richards transportation and not the TV itself. Very Disappointed at the Levittown store and how they brushed off this situation. I will never buy a T.V here again.

PC Richard & Son Whirlpool refrigerator

I bought a whirlpool refridgerator on July 2022. It worked for about two weeks after plugging it in and then it just stopped cooling. I reached out to PCR&S they were helpful in scheduling someone to repair a week later. The repairman said it needed a coil and requested the part, I had to wait another week for them to come out again. After the part was replaced I was assured it would solve my issue. I left the unit plugged in and powered on for the entire weekend without opening or using it. When I opened it again it was on but again not cool! I called again to sort it out and they said they submitted a request to the manufacturers and still waiting for a response. I'm out of a fridge, unable to do groceries and its costing me, in addition my young child starts school next week and I haven't had use of my fridge for the whole month of August. I was told by a representative they would not issue me a refund and of course I have to wait for the manufacture to approve for me to even be considered for store credit. I'm fed up of playing phone tag.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund to purchase elsewhere but at this point I would even accept a store credit to get a better product.

Update: spoke to Robert when I called again he told me that someone will get back to me on Saturday 9\3\2022 again no one called Im posting this on all social platforms as well as lodging a BBB complaint. This is so very stressful and unacceptable.

PC Richard & Son a/c service (friedrich split), model: br0412w1a

We have an extended service warranty with your.

We called you over a month ago and asked for service to our A/C unit. To this date, it has not been serviced. Each time, after a very long wait to be able to talk to an agent, we are told that "someone will call you within 24 hours". This has happened more that 4 times.

To this date, the unit has not been serviced

PC Richard & Son service appointment

service appointment for [protected] for C Considine at 140 Springs Fireplace Rd East Hampton NY 11937 We waited all day nobody called us and nobody arrived to fix the wash/dryer combo model FFLE2022MW.

service appointment for [protected] AGAIN we waited all day called the number [protected] at least 5 times during the day. All I was told was the technician is on his way.

You PC Richards has three of our phone numbers and our email address. You NEVER called us to tell us you were not going to do the service. I feel so disrespected, You lost a client. Two days where I could not work waiting for you guys to fix the wash/dryer combo. No honesty, NO integrity and NO reliability.

PC Richard & Son Samsung & whirlpool dishwashers

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher from PC Richard August 2021. During the Spring of 2022, the dishwasher showed an error code (LC, which indicates moisture is detected). The service tech that came out spent approximately 10 minutes in total and asked us who installed the unit. PC Richard had installed it. The service tech indicated that the hose was installed improperly – that it should be vertical, not horizontal. He used a zip tie to keep the hose vertical. He did no other trouble shooting – didn’t pull the dishwasher out etc. Within days, the same code appeared. We called again. The next service tech showed up with a new pump – this was prior to coming to our house to inspect the unit. The service tech changed the pump (again, dishwasher was less than a year old; unusual to need a new pump). A couple of wash cycles/days after the pump replacement, the unit leaked onto our brand new hardwood floor (floor was installed July 2022). PC Richard offered to exchange/replace the unit. We opted for a Whirlpool as the service department suggested that Whirlpool units have better reliability than Samsung. After installation, the Whirlpool unit leaked onto our hardwood floor. I was beside myself. I spoke with the store manager. He insisted that we have a plumbing issue. I insisted that we did not and, in fact, either the install was done improperly or perhaps PC Richard is selling refurbished appliances or floor models. The manager continued to insist that our plumbing was the issue. I was denied a request for reimbursement of a plumbing service call. We took it upon ourselves to hire a plumber. There was no plumbing issue. Next, we hired an independent appliance repair tech. The repair tech determined that the door gasket was causing the leak (approximately 12 minutes into the cycle). He adjusted the gasket which he said was not positioned properly and said it may need to be replaced (brand new dishwasher). He also reinstalled a bottom panel which was placed improperly. We drove to the store where both units were purchased and spoke to the manager that we had been speaking to by phone. We told him exactly what I have noted here – it was not our plumbing, it was the install and a faulty door gasket. The PC Richard Repair tech spent less than 10 min at our house to troubleshoot the problem. The store manager told us he would elevate our problem and get back to us within a day or two. It has now been 11 days and we have not heard a thing! We now plan to file a claim in small claims court and report this to the better business bureau. We purchased both units in GOOD FAITH. We paid IN FULL before taking possession of the units. We were unable to use the units for weeks. We had two leaks on BRAND NEW HARDWOOD FLOORING. The worst customer service we have ever encountered.

Desired outcome: full refund for the cost of the unit as well as the 2 year service contract

PC Richard & Son Maytag refrigerator

Bought a refrigerator from PC Richard.

Confirmed the delivery date online and received a call from the sales rep saying to be home to receive the unit on Saturday.

I waited for it but it never came.

He did finally call after I tracked him down to say the refrigerator was not in stock at the warehouse and I need to wait a couple of more weeks until it gets to the warehouse.

It doesn't made sense to me that we had a confirmed delivery date and the product vanished.

Or maybe it was given to another customer?

I don't know but at least someone from PC Richard should get back to me to figure it out.

He was supposed to call me back with more information but never did.

I also email customer support and explained the situation but no one has contacted me.

This is not a good way to treat a customer. It's frustrating.
