Panera Bread BBQ Chicken Sandwich

I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich thru the app at the Springfield, PA store on Sunday, Sept 25th at 12:27 pm. When I received the sandwich, it was burnt and half of the bread was missing. Also I did not receive napkins in the bag. I love panera but I noticed things have not been the same lately. A little disappointed. My order number was [protected]. I was on my break from Giant, so I didn't have time to wait for another sandwich.

Panera Bread Being personally attacked verbally n aggressively

Just want to say I love panera and always order bagels , the packs.

But today I ordered,n only could order 6 everything bagels which was fine, cuz they were out of all bagels at 10 am. So I got other pastries instead. So my daughter n iwent to pick up the bagels, I stayed in the car she went in and they told her someone stole our order. Okay it happens. But than didn't give my daughter any options of panera card or how to get my money back but it will be 3 business days. So I went in to see if they can give me cash or a panera card so I can use it again there or somewhere else. And there were 3 girls behind the counter laughing at me n mocking me , I than asked for the manager she came and said she isn't giving me [censored]. I said excuse me you let someone steal my order, I paid for and I said this is [censored]ing nuts..she first swore at me , than SD don't swear at me while the other employees where laughing g at me, I asked for there names and corporate number the manager Jessica said I'm not giving you [censored] look it up you got google find it your self so I said your refusing me info n names. She said look it up over n over , than I asked the girls behind the counter there names startedlaughing I'm not giving you [censored]. Than pushed plates n food in my face like I was a piece of crap. I told her don't put food in my face like that, I pushed it out of my face..not for the plates to fall off the counter but they did by accident . Than the manager came out very aggressively at me and I got scared after how all 3 of them treated me she came at me and I was afraid and in my face with her arm that touched my arm I swung and said don't touch me n it made contact. I didn't go in there for violence or to be attacked and belittled or laughed at or put in a situation to protect myself. These 3 women need to be fired. Now I have to talk to the police because she said I punched her which I would never ever do. I just swung to get her arm to protect myself.ive never punced or fought anyone in my life. I'm 51 years old and to be treated, personally harassed, belittled, n now have to explain myself because of unprofessional employees. I walked out because I know I didn't do anything. This is just a horrible situation they put me in now,I shouldn't have been stripped of my dignity or have a manager come out from behind the counter aggressively at me to protect myself and now I have to still protect myself, if this girl presses charges I will be pressing charges at the girl who pushed food in my face to intimidate me aswell. I could care less over 23.00 or the bagels, now it's about what they all did to me

Panera Bread Menu item incorrectly made

Hello Panera Guest Care Leadership Team,

Thank you for responding to my complaint, I very upset at how I was treated on Sunday 7, 2022 while at the Panera Bread resturant at 460 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170, Cafe# 601230. On Saturday, September 6th I called in a order at 5:14pm, order# 206950 for a bowl of tomato soup, and a whole tuna sandwich to be delivered to my home. When I unwrapped the sandwich, I was very disappointed by the portion of tuna in my sandwich. I felt a mistake was made and a vegetable sandwich with a smidgen of tuna was sent. It looked quite different from your online website advertisement or the pictures in the restaurants. But I know it was incorrect because three days earlier I order the same menu items and the sandwich I purcashed then verses Saturday was like night and day. (picture attached)

On Wednesday, September 3rd I had just celebrated my 66th birthday. My neice from California purchased a $50.00 Panera gift card for me. I went to the resturant on my birthday and was greeted by a great staff of employees and especially the new female manager,(I am sorry I don't recall her name). I ordered a bowl of of tomato and chicken noodle soup order# 206568. Overall my experience was real nice, I went home and enjoyed my tomato soup and tuna sandwich, everything was great.

However, within three days of the good service, with friendly employees and a good Manager, my experience on Sunday, September 7, 2022 was as if I went into another restaurant all together. On Sunday morning, I called and spoke to Mr. Sezar the Regional Manager and told him about my sandwich issue, that I took pictures and that I was coming in to show him what was delivered to me. He told me that he was going to be there until 2:00pm that day. (In the pass I have experienced other issues with food preparation at that location. Each time as my right I call and tell the manager about the issue. I have spoken to Mr. Sezar a few months ago about some of my issues there. He shared with me that he had just gotten promoted to the new Regional Manager because his boss had just passed away. He admitted that he was aware of the problems at that location and he was there to make improvements).

On Sunday, I got to the restaurant about 12:00pm with the sandwich and my pictures. I went to the counter where Team Manager B. Muna was at the cash register and I asked for Mr. Sezar, she said he wasn't there and didn't know when he would be back. So I told her that I spoke to him about my sandwich I got delivered yesteday. I could see in her face she that she was not going to be helpful. All of the expectation of great customer service etiquette, display of professionalism, treating the customer with digity and respect was gone on when I spoke to her. My experiece was awful to say the least, in front of the lunch crowd of customers and the associate employees who were standing there listening to her, she said to me, "You have complainted before and we have a list in our system of all of your complaints". I said, "What"? "You have me in your system of my complaints". And then she said, "I think you make complaints to get free food, if you want free food just ask for it, instead of complainting to get it". I was appalled, I was offended by her implication and accusation, and embrassed in front of everyone standing around. I was totally insulted at her unacceptable behavior and mannerisms, as well as her ineffective way of talking to a customers and problem solving skills issues they created. I never experienced that kind of treatment from any restaurant or food service company and I would stand for it now.

After what she said, she then had the nerve to asked me if I wanted to order something. Instead of showing some understanding of my issue or taking ownership and responsibilty of the food that leave their location, or ask if I wanted a refund for the sandwich or offer to remake the tuna sandwich with the correct portion, instead I receive none of that. I told her the only thing I wanted was the telephone number to the Corporate office to make a complaint about her. She said, "Ok, I don't care, that doesn't bother me. You do whatever you want to". I turn around left and will never go back ther again as long as she is employed there. I seriously doubt that my choice not to go back or my patronage to your restaurant will hurt anything, however, some customer who are treated that way, go on social media and share their experience, some tell their family, friends and co-workers, some never come back and the the cmpany looses their business or like me just simply contact the Corporate office to tell about the unfortunate experience on Sunday, September 7th at Panera Bread in Herndon, VA by the Team Manager, B. Muna and the Regional Manager, Mr. Sezar who should and could have follow up with me since I am in their computer for complainting about their restaurant mistakes.

There are a host of places to dine and eat in my area, but Panera Bread was my favorite place to order my food. The unsatisfactory behavior of a team member who should have known better, sety an example for the employees or exhibit professionalism, patience and respect for the customer and the company she works for. I ultimately hold the Regional Manager, Mr. Sezar responsible because he could have followed up on what occurred, because I spoke to him and he said he would be there, and since I was told my name is in their system, which I find troublesome and a major problem with that. Instead of taking the valid complaints and improving upon them that management staff would rather blame the customer who contributes to their salary for the internal problems they can't seem to fix.

When my neice askd me if I used my gift card yet, I told her I did but I just don't want her to be concern about the way I was treated, and regret sending me the card at all. I hope this letter addresses the problems that I faced and the lack respect I received from the Regional Manager and the Team Manager before this happenes to another customer. Panera Bread ice dispenser out of order

My friend and I had the unfortunate experience at your location in Port Charlotte Florida. The ice machine was not working so they placed a bucket on a table for people to serve themselves with ice. Some people were using their hands to get ice. not very cool. We both got sick over the weak end. I don't think this would have been the proper way to serve your customers. Please advise your help not to use this way of dispensing ice in the future. It is very unhealthy for us all. My friend said to call the board of health, but I said let's see what Panera has to say. I hope this doesn't happen in the future. One little mistake by someone not knowing the consequences could devastate your business. FYI.

Panera Bread Door hurt my arm

I went to Panera Bread for lunch at 2894 Loop 250 Frantage Road Midland Texas 79705 in my wheelchair I live right behind them So I ate my lunch I was leaving and the door slam behind me and got my arm stuck so as I was trying to move forward it was hurting me I was bleeding and was scare to go back in to tell them this was on 9-9 2022 so I went up there that morning at 10am and show pictures to the manager that treated me like she could careless I told her what happen and she goes to say yeah the doors shut hard next time you will need to call to get in very cold hearted not EVEN a sorry or what can we do Is this how handi cap people get treated my arm is hurt I can send you the picture and my lunch was 20.56 post threw bank Debit Panera Bread # 202516P Midland Texas 79705 I left crying because she was so cold and cruel to me My arm was cut and is swollen and bruise Please let this manager know she was horrible I didn't deserve to be treated like that, Thank you my number is [protected] if you need picture please tell me where to send it Thank you for your time Deborah Tanner

Panera Bread Wrong order/Terrible customer service-manager interactions

I want to start off by saying I have ordered a Sierra Turkey Sandwich, which is an off menu item., several times at the Oakland - Forbes Avenue location. I asked about ordering on line. I was told to order turkey sandwich and modify. I did this and as expected the order was wrong. I ordered TWO sandwiches. I took a picture of the sandwich and receipt showing what was ordered and showed it to the manager when I went back to the location. I explained that I work in a medical office and only get 1/2 hour for lunch so I had to eat the sandwich that was made wrong. I showed her everything how it was written several times all over the place to put the turkey on Asiago bread and was brushed off and told they probably did not have asiago bread so they substituted it for the bread they had. That is a COMPLETE LIE. They have never been out of asiago bread. I would have been happier if she would have apologized for the mistake and offered some kind of discount or something I spent $20+ I was put off by her reaction and the fact, she made no attempt to make things right I got 2 wrong sandwiches and it was a very "so what" attitude and was not even offered an apology, NOT sure I will ever go back.

Panera Bread Management harassment, discrimination.

Fairview Heights, IL 62208 location has to be racist. I have been a frequent of Panera since a child, I am 28. Every time I have come into this specific location I am constantly harassed about staying in the dining area for "too long," with my laptop. I have made a purchase every single time I come here and have NEVER caused any issues, EVER. There are constantly large groups of people, small groups and individuals that stay for long periods of time and are NEVER harassed by management. There are individuals that buy a drink or an item and sit for hours and use their tablets, laptops, or just read books and I have not seen any of those people being told to leave for "staying too long" or to "use a different table." I will probably end up suing this location for harassment and discrimination because it happens every time I come here and I make a purchase every time so they should have no reason to bother and harass me the way they that they do. There was even one day I made an app pick up order and went and got my drink and the manager instantly came out and told me the drinks werent free. I pulled up my rapid pick up order and showed her I already paid and she apologized and offered to give me a free bakery item for her mistake which I thought was nice, but that is just another example of how hostile they are to me, a complete stranger, but a PAYING GUEST none the less.

Desired outcome: talk to management about specifically targeting/harassing me, a PAYING guest that has never cause any issues for your business.

Panera Bread Overcharging

Visited store 601919 on May 21

Tried kiosk and it said payment was declined on 4 cards, so we went to counter.

Later I find out all the charges from kiosk went through.

Called customer service and was told it would take 30 days.

On June 18 one credit was issued.

I still need 3 more credits of 31.60 each.

2469216GZ2X7DKEGH9 for my Verizon Visa.

All charges were for 31.60 each

Panera Bread Panera Gift Cards

I was given Panera gift Cards for my birthday last June. (Totaling over $90) I then inserted their info into my Panera Mobile acct. I have recently joined the "Sip Club." Each time I go I usually buy a smokehouse sandwich or a cinnamon crusty bagel. Unfortunately, Panera can never read my gift card on my mobile phone! I spoke to a very nice manager at Clark, NJ.Panera. Her name is Megan. She suggested I contact Corporate.

The pin number is NOT on the gift card on my phone. It was not requested.

I do have two with pins.

Panera Bread Service

Ordered through Panera App as I have done hundred's of times, but when ordering at your Victorville, CA location, it is always a problem.

- Staff unkept, and look like carnival workers

- Staff rude and/or unhelpful

- Staff and lost several orders and I never received food - most of the time receiving a refund however; today, no refund, no food - That's fraud

- Restaurant dirty on most occasions

- Have seen many unhappy customers at the Victorville location

- Have also ordered from numerous locations all over the US but Victorville, CA location only location that's dirty, loses orders, steals customer money without providing food, and has workers that look like ex-cons, druggies, and just unprofessional.

Now that I have paid for food and not received either food or a refund, I must stop eating at Panera Bread due to theft of funds.

Spoke to the store manager who although nice, looked unprofessional and refused to provide me with a refund of my purchase or food, I can only say that unless Corporate resolves this to my complete satisfaction, I will now provide my impression of Panera Bread to all who ask as a untrustworthy company whose employees are dirty and steal customer money.

Desired outcome: Panera Bread should refund me my purchase AND due to my experience and significant costs (i.e., 1 hour drive 30 mins each way, gas, and patience) should also provide me with my order next time for Free~

Panera Bread Order

I ordered a turkey sandwich with a slice of cheddar cheese plain nothing else on it very specific about that on an everything bagel. I got a loaded turkey sandwich on wheat bread so I took it back and expalined what I wanted and when I was called up to the counter there were two eveything bagels with turkey and everything else I did not want. Told the server I only wanted one and he very carefully explained to me that they could not halve the bagel, the two on my plate were halved, ergo two halved bagles. What am I missing here? I have been a fan of Panera and my Grandchildren love it which is why I'm still going but this may be the starw that breakes the camels back. I know wll about Covid and what its done to the workforce but this is not rocket science here and tghis is not the first time I've had an issue and at different stores, Medina, Brunswick and now Strongsville Ohio!

Panera Bread Bug in Caesar Salad

I purchased an Cesar salad at 1446 Highway 20 West McDonough, Ga 30253 through the Drive thru on June 30 2022. When I got home I put on the Ceasar dressing that comes with the salad and began to eat the salad. Once I got to the bottom I noticed a brown fuzzy bug with wings and legs dead in the salad. I immediately spit out what I had in my mouth and returned back to Panera Bread where I purchased the salad to speak with a manager. When I arrived I asked to speak to a manager that goes by the name Irea. I explained to her that I just purchased the salad and noticed a dead bug in the salad while eating and that I would like a refund. Irea never did apologize and she told me the bug may have flew in the salad due to the food station being near the drive thru window. I asked her can the food station be moved or covered properly so this doesn’t happen again. She told me she’s not the owner and she’s just an employee collecting a check. Someone from corporate needs to step in to visit this location to monitor food safety and train employees on customer service skills.

Panera Bread On line ordering

Your on-line ordering is the ABSOLUTE WORST I have ever dealt with. I am taking my own printer order to my local store today but it will be the LAST order I make with Panera including the $200 Christmas Gift cards.

Panera Bread Chai Latte order mix up; long waits

I received an email from you apologizing for the long wait and then, I took your advice and returned to Panera in Stroudsburg, PA. I did not wait this time. However, I ordered a Chai Latte to go. I left your store and it was not chai; it was coffee. I went back in the store to exchange and I was told I had to wait in line to get the appropriate replacement.

I email you first to tell you that I do not plan returning to Panera. Thank you for your email about the prior visit long wait , however the waits and now the inadequacy in filling orders is a bit much.

Panera Bread Hiring Process

I have a relative who applied for employment at the Panera Bread at 1397 Fordham Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia three weeks ago. The relative was "hired" but never received call backs. The relative called and persisted in their calls and was finally afforded a time for orientation. When they presented for orientation, they were given a cap, a T-shirt and they provided the information requested for employment. That information was placed in the Panera "system" however, the "system" would not accept the information. Orientation ceased at that point and the relative was advised that until they can be accepted into the "system" they cannot continue the onboarding for employment. No one there seems to be working toward assisting this hired employee in getting to work at this facility. Yet, the store location continues to keep the "Hiring" banner outside the store. This relative has been waiting to go to work for 3 weeks now with no resolution.

Desired outcome: Someone at corporate or the regional manager needs to check into this malfunctioning "system" and get the IT department to resolve this problem so this person can be onboarded and get to work.

Panera Bread Chipotle chicken avocado melt

My boyfriend and I got the chipotle chicken avocado melt June 6th at 6:30 pm.. we opened it up and it looked like a mess. We went to the maplewood location. Was hard to eat because it was basically unconstructed. Sauce was quite literally everywhere.

Panera Bread incorrect order

After a long day of moving, me and my roommate decided to order Panera because we had no food at the new place. However, this was a mistake. We each got a pick 2 and then 2 sesame bagels on the side. The bagels were not included (so now we have no breakfast), and I ordered a Mediterranean bowl and instead got a tuna sandwich. Additionally, I ordered the fuji apple salad with chicken as my other item and it came with no chicken and the container barely had any salad in it. I have had a few bad orders in the past, but this experience may have completely turned me off from Panera. I am disappointed to say the least as this cost almost $30.

Panera Bread Did not receive more than 1/3 of my last carry-out order at Panera, 21 Allen, Webster Groves, MO 63119.

On the afternoon of May 18, 2022, the order I received was inaccurate and poorly made. (1) My smoothie was (a) placed in a small child's size cup that seemed almost half the size of the cup I usually receive from Panera though I paid the full price, and (b) it was more like the consistency of water than smoothie; (2) my tomato soup did not include the croutons; and (3) I did not receive my fruit cup at all. 4 mistakes for 3 items. This was a take-out order that a family member had retrieved. I used hard-earned money to purchase product that I did not receive. I do not intend to return to any Panera.

Panera Bread Poppyseed Strawberry Chicken Salad

Yesterday., May 19, at approximately 4:00pm,, I went and got a poppyseed strawberry chicken salad from the Arnold Paneras. When I got home and was ready to eat it, there was absolutely no chicken on it. There was a tornado watch out and I couldn't take it back. I was very disappointed in this service and will be getting my salads elsewhere from now on.
