I’ve had an intermittent problem with your service from day 1. It’s been to the engineering dept.a few month ago. It was ok for a while but now it happened when I called the cardiologist when I was having problems after a pacemaker procedure. I couldn’t get thru.
The problem is the(DTMF Tones are not being received at the called party. DTMF Tones are used extensively, in business as options for the called party to select various departments or extensions. If this option doesn’t work, the phone is useless.
This is the real signal strength measurement table.
• –44 to –80 dBm → Excellent / strong
• –80 to –100 dBm → Good / usable
• –100 to –110 dBm → Weak
• –110 to –120 dBm → Very weak
My number: –116 dBm That puts it in the very weak range.
I need this escalated immediately. I am experiencing a documented in home coverage failure with signal levels around –116 dBm, making voice service unreliable.
My device is repeatedly switching between Wi Fi Calling and weak LTE, which causes DTMF tones to fail and prevents me from using automated systems. This is a network reliability issue, not a device issue.
I am requesting a coverage remediation ticket and escalation to the Network Engineering Team.
My neighbor on the same T Mobile network received a network signal booster from T Mobile for the identical issue. Since Optimum Mobile operates on the T Mobile network, I need this escalated to the carrier support liaison so the same coverage solution can be evaluated for my address.
Please document the following in my case: – In home coverage failure – Unusable VoLTE service – Intermittent Wi Fi Calling fallback – DTMF tone transmission failure – Signal levels at –116 dBm
If Optimum cannot provide reliable service at my location or refuses to escalate this to engineering, I need that documented so I can proceed with an FCC wireless service complaint for unresolved coverage issues.
I am not requesting basic troubleshooting. I am requesting network engineering escalation.
