I called about a year ago because my internet was way too high. They said they could lower it, but I would have to switch over to their equipment. I said "NO" because I like my own equipment. Today, I call to cancel my service. I called at 2:28PM and was on the phone for over 47 minutes just to cancel. Then they end with "You will have 7 days to return our equipment". I told them I didn't have any of Optimum's equipment and they said, "we will bill you for it".
