We have just returned from a Baltics cruise on Marina. This was the most expensive cruise we have ever booked and our first and last with Oceania.

Good: Excellent choice and quality of food including speciallity restaurants.
Polite and very helpful and obliging staff.

Not so good:
Repetitive entertainment, with the exception of one act, everything was based on music. Even when films were substitued in the marina lounge these were based on music , for example A Star is Born. Very cheap entertainment in the main theatre.
No tea/coffee in cabin. We were told that room service was available. We tried this one evening ordering two hot chocolates. These eventually arrived after 50 minutes and were certainly not hot and were extremely weak.
One highlight of the cruise for us was to visit Bruges. We did not pick an excursion but were told that a bus would take us to the train station in Blankenberg. On arriving at the station we were told there would be a 45 minute wait for a train. We caught this and then arrived at Bruges . The station is almost an hours walk from the town centre. We were going to buy chocolate but thought it was unwise due to the hot weather. We then had a drink and something to eat. We caught a taxi back to the rail station and found that we had an hour to wait for the next train. On getting back to Blankenberg station we caught the shuttle bus back to the port. At the port we had to transfer to another bus and in the meantime we and a lot of others had to queue at security before boarding the bus.
I cannot understand why there was not a bus from the port direct to Bruges as we have done in the past when visiting Bruges (with other cruise lines).
Disembarkation at Southampton was a nightmare. After leaving the ship we had to wait over an hour and a half in a very hot building to board a shuttle bus to take us and our luggage back to the original gate where our car was parked.
Altogether a total shambles from what is supposed to be a top class cruise line.

Recommendation: BOOK ANY OTHER CRUISE LINE EXCEPT THIS ON. THERE WERE A LARGE NUMBER OF PASSENGERS WHO EXPERIENCED THE SAME AS US.
