I went in to have an exhaust leak repaired.drove it there with no other mechanical issue. they said my shifter was not going into park as they tried to put it on the lift.. never had that problem ever! they took the cover off the shifter and tried to shift it manually. they broke it! they told me it wasnt their problem. now my car is in their parking lot undrivalble.

Desired outcome: fix it! you broke it!
