Took a trial subscription on 12th of august 2023. Canceled it hours later as I was no longer interested. Never got any email about that BTW. 26th of august, I get a charge of 68.17 euro's on my paypal. Myheritage took the money for a full subscription, got an invoice and everything. I try to contact them... nothing... asked for several callbacks... nothing... phone numbers don't work... emailing only done through their website... no proof of contact.

So now I challenged the charge through paypal and I will be charging criminal charges through my local police for online fraude and treft. I will be contacting the Israeli authorities and the company that bought myheritage.com in 2021. I am a man on sick leave with a lot of time and money on my hands. I am willing to spend thousands to get my money back. I am a focused and principled man and will fight this company tooth and nail to see justice done. I will set up a campaign through all my social media platforms to expose the malpractice this company has done with dozens and dozens of people. In short... I will pull out all the legal stops to get you to pay.

MyHeritage.com, if you see this, I will provide you with account and invoice details through an email of one of your support team... not your website. My account #[protected].

Desired outcome: I want my money back.

I'm sorry to find your trial cancelation request was unsuccessful and you were charged for the annual subscription.

I noticed that you have contacted one of our representatives and they have issued you a full refund. Please allow several days for this to process if you have not already seen the refund reflected back into your account.

For your information, MyHeritage informs all members of the annual charge and its price in the automatic email that is sent out after you enroll in the membership and before every renewal.

Also, one may view the status or cancel an annual subscription at any time online when logging into MyHeritage from the My Purchases page and incur no annual charge.

In any case, a refund is guaranteed if you are not happy with your membership for 30 days from the initial purchase date of the subscription.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with your refund, please e-mail me personally from your registered MyHeritage address at dean.vipsupport@myheritage.com, I'd be happy to assist you with high priority.
