We had tires shipped from TireRack.com to this location since TireRack noted this location as a “Top Tier” for an independent installer. We made an appointment a week prior for 9:30 am on a Saturday. We dropped the car off and were told that the car would be ready by 1:30. We arrive around 1:35 and are told that they are short staffed and that walk ins receive priority but that they close at 6 and the car should be ready by then. This is frustrating since the shop is 25 minutes from our home. We stayed local to the shop from 9:30 to 1:30 and then drove back home and had to come back out to get the vehicle before close. I would not recommend this shop. It seems you are only prioritized if you purchase tires directly through them. I am done with Mr. Tire overall. We had an issue with one of their more local locations near us but decided to give another location a try. They have lost a customer.

That is frustrating, especially after you planned your whole day around their 1:30 promise. Call TireRack's installer support line and tell them one of their Top Tier shops broke the appointment and prioritized walk-ins. TireRack cares about that rating and can pressure the shop or help with compensation. Also ask Mr. Tire's district manager for a goodwill credit for the extra trips. Next time, get the drop-off time and pickup promise in writing before handing over the keys. You gave them a fair second chance, and they blew it.
