I was scrolling through Facebook, saw an ad for a Myrtle Beach vacation and clicked to read more. I was required to input contact information before continuing, which I assumed was for solicitation purposes. To get an idea on the prices, I clicked to view vacation options. My credit card is on file to auto fill, but I didn’t realize this would complete a purchase.

I immediately went to my email to look for a communication from them so I could dispute this unauthorized charge, but I received nothing. I have also received no communication from them via mail. Once I saw the charge appear, I googled the company and tried to call the #800 number on the website. It is an automated system to book vacation, for which you must have a timeshare/customer ID, which I do not, since I received no communication from this merchant. I am unable to provide a sales invoice, purchase agreement or anything else in regard to this for that reason. I did not make this purchase and there were no “services provided”. This company is relying on customers getting tired of the dispute process and giving up, so they can keep the money they have wrongly charged.

I strongly encourage you to investigate this company and warn your other patrons from doing business with them. I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau as well, in hopes of preventing other consumers from falling victim to their deceitful tactics. If there is anything additional, I can do to support this investigation, please reach out.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund issued to me by Monster Reservations of by Capital One, with whom I have also disputed the charges and they received a deceiptful response from Monster Reservations.
