I am a paying customer of Microsoft services, and I am facing an extremely serious and unacceptable situation.
On November 4th, 2025, my primary Microsoft/Outlook/OneDrive account was hacked and completely compromised. The attacker removed my original email address ([protected]@gmail.com
) and replaced it with an unknown email, taking full control of my account.
I have spent over a month trying to recover my account through every official Microsoft recovery method. I followed all recommended procedures, filled out multiple account recovery forms, and contacted support repeatedly. Even after providing clear evidence that I am the legitimate owner of the account, I received NO real assistance and NO progress whatsoever.
The worst part:
I have a 1 TB OneDrive plan, and 761 GB of personal and professional files are stored there — years of work, memories, documents, and important records. The OneDrive app on my device STILL shows that 761 GB are being used, which proves that the files are still in the cloud and have not been deleted.
However, because Microsoft refuses or is unable to restore access to my account, I am completely locked out of all my data.
This is unacceptable.
Microsoft is:
Ignoring a critical case of fraud and account takeover
Leaving a paying customer without any resolution
Allowing a hacker to maintain control of my personal account
Putting hundreds of gigabytes of my private data at risk
I demand that Microsoft:
Immediately restore my original account access.
Reestablish my full access to the 761 GB of files stored in OneDrive.
Urgently review the security vulnerability that allowed this attack.
Provide a clear, professional response rather than automated replies that solve nothing.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of support and the irresponsibility displayed in handling such a serious issue. I expect this public complaint to reach someone within Microsoft who can finally take action.
I await an urgent solution.
