The move was from a 2-bedroom condo and took an incredible 6 hours to complete, despite having everything already packed and ready to go. To put things in perspective, my last mover managed to complete the same task in just 2 hours with plenty of time to spare. The movers seemed to be in no rush and spent most of their time horsing around, talking on the phone in a foreign language and not even wearing a uniform or gloves! What's more, they actually forgot to bring the mattress cover - a basic item required for any move.

As if that wasn't bad enough, they then proceeded to destroy a baseboard in my building and refused to refund me for the damages. To make matters worse, my brand new office chair was ripped during the move and the movers refused to compensate me for the damage. As if that wasn't enough, they took an astounding 1 hour and 30-minute lunch break and charged me for this time!

While you do expect some wear and tear during any move, almost every single piece of furniture was left damaged by the movers. And then came the final insult - a ludicrous charge of $750, which they demanded in cash to avoid paying any taxes!

We were forced to pay for three hours with the promise that we could contact customer service to get our money back the next day.

In the end, we spoke to their customer service representative, Oliver, who was one of the rudest and least helpful customer service reps we have ever come across. As a way of responding to the issue, he yelled back at my roommate on the phone and refused to refund us the hour of service that we did not receive. We were completely taken advantage of as first-time movers with this company, and it was a completely unacceptable experience. We highly recommend that you AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.
