They came out and checked my 2 ground units out
They came out and checked my 2 ground units out. 1 unit was fine and the other had a weak coil. I got the 5 yr membership for both units which will cost me a little over $30 a month for the next 5yrs. Tech was polite and respectful. He didn't even smoke on my property but out by his van. He was smart. We'll see how there service contract goes since I just bought it.
Merlins A/C and Plumbing came out to fix our plumbing problem, but we were disappointed with the service
Merlins A/C and Plumbing came out to fix our plumbing problem, but we were disappointed with the service. We were quoted $24.99, which was on a flyer we had, but they charged us $49.99 instead. They also tried to sell us on replacing some pipes for $4700, but we had someone else look at it and they said it wasn't necessary. We felt like they were trying to rip us off.

I liked the job they did at my place
I liked the job they did at my place. The techs were real chill and hands-on, which I dig. It's tough to find good AC peeps, so I signed up for their membership. Now I got a go-to for when I need AC or plumbing. The peace of mind is worth more than the membership or a one-time service. Props to Merlin for taking care of their employees like fam.
Awesome company! Very thorough and fairly priced! They replaced my system same day and had my house cool in just a few hours.
I have a warranty that expires on the 19th of June. I scheduled a time for an air conditioning technician to come and fulfill the warranty requirement of having a tune-up done on my unit. The only thing the technician did was wash the coils of the air conditioner. I know this because I went on top of the roof to observe his work. He mentioned that it wasn't worth it for me to have any additional work done on the unit because it was too old. Two days later, I had a different air conditioning specialist, who is associated with my ex-husband, inspect my unit. This specialist informed me that I only needed a simple fix and that the previous air conditioning company did not want to honor the contract. He applied the necessary fix to my air conditioner, and it is now functioning very well. I believe that the initial air conditioning company should have provided the required service to fulfill their end of the contract. They suggested that I needed to purchase a new system for $7,000 and offered a financing plan where I could pay $60 per month. They should be held accountable for attempting to deceive me and for failing to honor the contract.
Had a small issue with my air flow a few months after the technician cleaned my coils (unrelated to what he did.) *** came back and found the issue and fixed it for free! Excellent customer service.
No stars here. I bought a membership. The contract was to have someone come out twice a year, in the fall and summer, to check on my system. The first three visits, no one checked the unit in the attic; they only checked the half of the system that is outside. On the fourth visit, one and a half years after my membership began, the technician asked me where the unit was inside my house. It was the first time anyone had checked it after four maintenance visits. When the technician inspected it, the system was wet and rusted, and I was told it had to be replaced. It is possible that if they had checked the system as promised, this could have been prevented. I was offered a payment plan to replace the unit. I chose to make one payment and paid $4,000.00 to have my air conditioner fixed. One month later, my air conditioning system is not working. A service person from the company came to my home and said the unit outside needs to be replaced. I was offered a payment plan and was given prices for three options: the first option was a split condenser/air handler for $8,483.00, the second was to replace the coil only for $3,800.00, and the third was a split condenser only for $4,583.00. My system was five years old. This company does not stick to their word and is not trustworthy. Buyers beware!
Merlin's A/C and Plumbing is the bomb!
Merlin's A/C and Plumbing is the bomb! I had a sweet experience with their tech dude. They hooked me up with a summer A/C tune-up that was free of any obligation to buy more stuff. The tech showed up and did a killer job. They gave me a sheet that was easy to read and told me my unit's "health." They even suggested that I replace the unit (it's super old) instead of spending more money on service stuff. That's some real talk from a service company! The tune-up made my unit way more efficient, even though it's old as dirt. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
The guy who came to fix my A/C and plumbing was a real jerk!
The guy who came to fix my A/C and plumbing was a real jerk! He said my new unit had a leak, but he didn't show me where it was. I found a piece on top of the unit that wasn't there before, so I think he put it there to mess with me. He had mud on his shoes and I told him to wash them before coming in, but he didn't listen. He wiped mud on my new rug and walked all over my house with his dirty shoes. He only cared about making a sale and didn't care about me at all. He even kept trying to buy my new dog! What a creep!
Merlins A/C and Plumbing was a total disaster for us
Merlins A/C and Plumbing was a total disaster for us. They sent out three different people, even the owner, to fix our AC unit, but it only got worse. They were unprofessional, diagnosed fake issues (like mold in our unit, which was confirmed to be untrue by another company), and were downright rude. The owner even left without saying goodbye and threw his ladder in his car. We had to replace our AC unit with another company that charged us way less and was much more professional. Don't make the same mistake we did and do your research before choosing Merlins. We financed with them, but it was a big mistake. We hope this review helps other homeowners. We'll be sure to tell everyone we know not to go with Merlins.

Einstein's team provided exceptional service. They were friendly, courteous, and very professional. They explained what was wrong with our 15-year-old A/C unit. They gave us options and explained each one without pressuring us. They were happy to accommodate our choice. We opted for a new A/C unit. They scheduled an appointment that suited us, arrived on time, installed it perfectly, disposed of the old unit, and cleaned up after. We couldn't be happier—Einstein's is an excellent company to work with.
