Merchant Lynx Services review: Mysterious fraudulent charges appear on bank stmt and they can't tell you why ( 1 comment)

My guys who own this store and another store, they only needed 1 merchant account per store. Merchant Lynx decided to add 2 more additional lines per store that came to 3 lines per store = 6 lines total and charging outrageous $. I would call them and ask, they could not explain these additional charges. I had time one day to sit and look at the bank statement and compare. That is when I discovered they assigned us 4 more additional merchant accounts and that is why they were drafting $ from our accounts. They could only provide me with the contract for the accounts we knew about, as we got paper statements as well. These 4 new unauthorized accounts we never got the statements to explain why we had that money drafted from our account. I called and spoke with someone and she found this strange too, unheard of she said. They agreed to close the additional accounts but will not refund the $615.00 they took without permission or contract. I spent more time on the phone with the bank disputing these charges, and today, I disputed more charges as Merchant Lynx said Groundhog was charging us 29.95 a month, asked Groundhog, they said that Merchant Cost Co was a subsidiary of Merchant Lynx, not Groundhog and today they charged our account on the 5th for the 29.95 and then again on the 6th for 79.95. That is 109.90 for unknown reasons.
