As a contractor and former dealer for marvin windows/doors, I installed marvin windows in my personal home. After a few years I begin receiving phone calls from buyers complaning about dry wood rot on their windows. No longer a dealer I refered them to a marvin dealer. Then my personal windows started to experience dry wood rot. I called the marvin dealers, district office inquiring to buy replacement window sashes for my windows, the frames were good the sashes rotted. Marvin would not acknowledge a problem nor would they sell me replacement sashes. — I would not recomend installing marvin products, poor material quality, no replacement service, I have installed hundreds of pella, anderson products, with no problem.

Recommendation: DO NOT INSTALL MARVIN PRODUCTS, POOR MATERIALS, NO SERVICE.

Marvin Windows And Doors - Poor window construction, leaks air and noise from the street, was supposed to cure both problems, it did neither. Don't buy Marvin.
