I would like to make a complaint regarding the behaviour of a member of staff at the Mango store in St James Quarter, Edinburgh.
I visited the store today at approximately 17:15. The staff member working at the changing rooms was a tall man with light hair.
From the moment I approached the changing rooms, he appeared visibly irritated and unfriendly. After trying on some items, I decided not to purchase them and returned them as normal. His reaction made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He looked at me as though I had done something wrong and said, “You’re leaving all of them?” in a disgusted tone before grabbing the clothes from me abruptly.
The whole interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and intimidating, particularly as returning unwanted items after trying them on is a normal part of shopping. I left the store feeling quite uncomfortable and disappointed by the customer service I received.
I would appreciate this matter being looked into and would welcome a response regarding the complaint.
