ordered 2 majic jacks for a special deal of $168 per day on a 30 day free trial/they charged my card $98 each & then said i orderd 2 /5year platinum plans which i had never even heard about and for sure did not order for 139.00 dollars /this overdrew my checking account by hundreds of dollars /the bank almost closed my account which i have my disability checks go automaticly deposited /that would have sent my checks back and i would not be able to pay all my bills /this company has n0 way to talk to a live person/my30 day money back time was a lie /i received these jacks on jan.19th was told that i had until feb. 5 to return these jacks or i would not be able to get my money returned/this was false advertisement and down right crooked/this caused me a lot of trouble and i would warn everyone to stay away from these creeps/ i have no idea when or if my money will be returned/i had to send these jacks back by priority mail with return date of delivery to a post office box not a physical address which should have alerted me in the first place/i wonder how many other older people on a set income they have done this to hoping that they would just chalk it up and not try and get a 30 day free trial that is really a15 day trial/ i hope and pray that i receive my refund/ i guess that i will lose what ever godly amount that their shipping charges are/please warn all other aarp members so they will not lose their valuable time and money.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. THEY PUT A HOLD ON MY CHECKING ACOUNT FROM DAY ONE OF THE FREE TRIAL FOR THE 46.01. i DON'T KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY INFORMATION BUT MY BANK SAYS THAT THEY ARE LISTED ON THIER FRAUD LIST.

No customer service. They don't know what is customer service at all. They screwed my order and my time.

I don't recommend this product to anyone. I will buy product where I get good customer service

i am getting so fed up with mj. the staff at mj don't know anything.i can hear they're just reading it out of a book, so they don't even listen to you.i have changed phones 3 times with no difference. 1/2 the time all i get is static. maybe the right price-but i'm not so sure it's worth it. sf.

I ordered magicjack two weeks ago and it till dont work i dont know who to call. They have no customer service so I can send it back.

Cannot reach a representative by phone 0r otherwise. I want a refund on an order "screw up". I ordered one and got two plus billed for both. Criminal behavior as far as I am concerned. I do not care to do business with these people and demand a refund!

Approx. 2 months ago Isent my unit back to be replaced . As of this time I havenot heard a word back from majicjack. Iwonder what the major problem is? Chuck Melville

I ordered one majicjack b/c a friend has it and said it was great. They say they wont charge your debit card for a month, but they do put a hold which makes funds unavailable and is like a charge. Also, they made a mistake and said I order 2 plus extras totalling 126.95! I had to put a hold on my checking account b/f it went thru. I at the most was expecting to spend 39.95, and a hold of that much wouldnt have been as bad, but the 126.95 would have put me in the red and had nsf charges to my account. I tried the live chat which dosent work, and there is no way to reach them, even after they sent me an email saying the chg was refused. If anyone ever finds a way to contact them, please email me at roylt28@aol.com and put majicjack in the topic window. I will be very surprised if anyone emails me. So, beware, at least until they have a working, and reachable customer service dept. Thanks

I ordered a majicjack by thlephone today and now these comments have me concerned. Is it really that difficult to get customer support from Majic Jack? I am considering contacting my credit card company to have the order cancelled. If I receive no satisfactactory answer by tomorrow, I will cancel. Sincerely JC

plugged majicjack into usb port and got a dial tone in phone but no on-screen directions as advertised. unplugged unit and waited 30 sec's as directed in brochure, plugged it back in got a dial tone, no instructions on screen. unit still doesn't work. don't know what to try next. can't talk to a real person for help. help

I have had MagicJack for a few months now and it has been great. We have not had any need for customer service though so I cannot comment on that.

Biggest mickey mouse run around sence taladega races.No service, no phone, no help, no good.They prey on unsuspecting bargin hunters, senior citizens and are racking up millions.

In the beginning MajicJack worked perfectly. NOW my phone rings four times...then says "GOODBYE". If I dial for my messages...it immediately hangs up. Last week I spent about an hour with customer service (text only), and got no satisfaction at all. Nothing got fixed. This week I can't even get to texting customer service. The system just keeps me going in a circle, putting me back again and again to "Fix It" . No customer service. I just don't know what to do.

You cannot call and speak to customer service at ANY time. If you use their version of customer service, an online chat with people using names like Journey, Matrix, etc., you MIGHT get bumped up to their "Senior Representatives." Now, they can call you IF you rattle their cages enough. It took me three full months to get a refund for two jacks. AND within a week of delivery, I was also charged for a year's service for the 2 jacks! So much for the free 30 days, eh?!

MagicJack is a SERIOUS security risk. Dang near any half-decent hacker can get into the company's files. This means your credit card number, your phone number, address, etc are up for grabs!

Also, this is an AD-sponsored service, meaning that you will get pop-ups galore, either on your cellphone or on your computer monitor, or both. And the ads are targeted by YOUR USE of the internet. They invade your privacy and you can't do jack about it, pardon the pun!

Those are just two reasons, plus the three month turnaround for a simple refund, why NO ONE should buy magicjack.

And all those boasts about Dan the 'inventor' of the service well ... some are as bogus as these jacks!
