Sharing my personal experience for awareness.
I cancelled my Lunch Actually membership within the 3-day cooling-off period, as stated in their contract. They acknowledged the cancellation and agreed to refund my fees minus the admin charge.
They told me the refund would take 3 months (due by May 2025). Later, they pushed it to November 2025. As of today, I still haven’t received the refund, and my follow-up emails have gone unanswered.
The amount itself is not big, which makes it even more puzzling. For a company that promotes so many “success stories” and strong branding, I don’t understand why they are unable to fulfil a straightforward refund commitment.
This experience has been especially stressful as I am currently not working and need the funds.
I have filed a complaint with CASE and will pursue it further.
Posting this so others can be more aware before signing up.
Recommendation: Please read the refund and cooling-off clauses very carefully. Even though I cancelled within the approved period, my refund was significantly delayed. At this point, the refund has been delayed for so long that I am no longer confident if it will actually be processed.
