The product does not look like anything as advertised on TV. Defined my wrinkles way more and made me look very cakey and like i had way to much make on. I also never recd the mascara that should have been in the order. I also was mislead on the price. Thought i would spend the $30 for the trial but now i am being billed over $120 for the machine and products that did come with it. I will prob return all of it back. Very sad advertising.

It was supposed to be a Christmas present for my older sister. I had it shipped to my younger sister (where we were to gather) because I didn't think it would arrive in time for me to take it with me for the holiday visit. I hoped the three of us could unwrap it and experiment together. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive at my younger sister's house until after we left. My younger sister will hold on to it and we will try again in June when we see each other again.

It takes practice. Follow the tutorials and practice! I read the small print so that I knew what the terms were before ordering. When I started practicing I had to make adjustments around my eyes to soften the look (I just used products I already had), and had to adjust the "layering" of product on my face and neck to get it right for my skin. I have large pores so I knew a primer would be necessary. Now, it takes me five minutes to put on primer, foundation, blush, and eye shadow. I totally recommend it.

Im 1/2 Cherokee my skin tone is never the same in the spring time Im a light bronze in the summer Im a very dark reddish tone I buy up to 4 different tone of liquid makeup and try to match my color as best as possible, I finally gave in and ordered Luminess air Ive used it everyday I Love it Im in more control of the blending and Ive about match my tones perfectly It takes practice to get the fill of it and blending into different shades but its worth it so try try and try again because youll love it when you get it to your perfect shades

I have had my system for about a week now and I LOVE the system so far. The only issue I had was, the "free gifts" are on back order and the things you need to have the best experience with the system were not even mentioned until you watched the DVD and tutorial videos. This should be part of the 30 day trial.
If you want people to have the best experience in those 30 days, add the moisturizer/primer to the trial kit and maybe remove the blush. As for the free gifts, have a substitute in case the original gifts aren't available.
Other than that, I love my system so far, but as they say, time will tell.

I received my first shipment only to discover that the starter package did not include the moisturizing foundation that was to be applied prior to applying the make up. I had to order that item separately. There was also no instruction booklet or DVD in my package showing how to use the product. I am still waiting for the missing items. When you advertise the product on television there was no indication that there was a necessity for the moisturizing item. At this point, I am still not able to complete my trial to determine if I would like the product or not. I probably will not continue use of the product unless I can actually try it out and see results.

It takes a little practice, or it did for me. I spent a half day with baby wipes and my new luminess system. Once you get the hang of it, the appearance is flawless! It really does last a good 16 hours. The eyes are a little tricky and it should come with better instructions on adding color. That is my only criticisms. I have suffered from a Chema and psoriasis all my life (50+ years) This product line is so well made with such amazing ingredients I have not had a single flare up. It covers up red blotches, bumps flawlessly. I have gotten so many compliments! I highly recommend this product. It definitely takes a learning curve, but stick with it. It is sooooo worth it!

Like the kit indicated, "watch the video", is excellent advice. I may need to call and get a lighter color and possibly the concealer as well. I'm usually lighter in the winter months and darker during the summer...which the photo I sent was with tanned skin. That was my fault. I'm getting use to using the wand, and found that it can go on too thick if you're not gauging the pressure correctly; it's more of the fact that I didn't think much was coming out, but keep moving the wand...as we're told to do. Also, we ladies a little older may need to gently tug to smooth out the wrinkles around the eyes before applying in that delicate area. Don't give up on it, I feel it's promising...just takes practice, practice, practice. Give me about a week and I'll send an updated review. :-)

I am thrilled with Luminessair! It arrived on time and very well packed. Instructions, both detailed in a CD and also a quick guide for those who are all about getting started right away. A bit tricky to become a pro in using the wand, but I am determined to "trial the 7 days to perfection". Tutorials and assistance is available, if you need specific help. The realistic tutorials including women who film themselves opening the box and jumping right in was very helpful and made the "getting started" less intimidating. I was annoyed at the negative reviews.
Seems as though reviews are in place before the experience is trialed... Looking good is effort, so I am excited to have professional equipment so I may become a pro in looking my best and using good products. Perhaps other women aren't serious about looking their best or indulging time to "put their best face first"!

After looking at the detailed DVD and reading thru the instruction leaflet, I tried doing it myself and was pleasantly surprised. It was almost easy to use. AND it was fun. It felt so light and smoothe going on my face and it looked very natural... but with no blemishes or redness that I normally have. I then used the eyeshadow, lipstick and mascara that came later. Eyeshadow was great, mascara was nice, but lipstick was a little dry. I did look better than I have in years (probably because I haven't worn make up in years) and I was pleased with the outcome. However, I had a terrible cold and within an hour most of my make-up had been wiped off because of sneezIng, coughing, and runny eyes. I have already recommended it to all the women in my family... There are 26 of us and I am looking forward to using this when I go anywhere. Finally, a product that I can recommend.

I gotta say, Luminess is a real piece of work. I mean, I'm giving them one star just so I can get my two cents in, but honestly, they don't even deserve that. They go around saying they're a five-star company, but let me tell you, they're more like a zero-star company.

So here's the deal. You give them your hard-earned cash, and what do they do? They don't even send you the product! And when they finally do, weeks or even months later, after you've called customer service a million times to say you don't want it, they still send it and tell you it's your responsibility to return it. Like, what kind of BS is that?

I returned the product the same day I got it, didn't even open the box, and they still kept the charges on my Discover card. And get this, even after I canceled in December, they still billed me in January! I've been dealing with these clowns for almost a month now, and they still won't give me my refund. They're nothing but a bunch of thieves and liars.

Their customer service is a joke too. I've sent them so many emails, and now they're even rejecting my emails! Like, what kind of company does that? They just want to keep my money and forget about me. Well, I'm not gonna let them. I've already submitted a claim to the Better Business Bureau, and I'm gonna make sure everyone knows how terrible Luminess is.

So, if you're thinking about buying anything from Luminess, don't. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I recently ordered the Luminess Breeze system from luminesscosmetics.com, thinking it was a great deal for an introductory price. However, I soon found out that I would be billed that same price every month for four months! That's a total of $74.00 per month for four months. The actual cost of the Luminess Breeze system is $280, and on top of that, the auto-shipments of makeup are also billed in monthly installments of $54 each. When I asked why I was being billed every month when I had only received one shipment, I was told that the monthly $54 fee was the cost per bottle! So, in other words, you're paying $54 a month just for foundation.

Now, let's talk about the makeup itself. Yes, it does cover up flaws, but the people in the commercials have tiny flaws that they are trying to conceal. Real people have to use much more than the 3-5 drops advertised to actually get an even skin tone. The makeup looks pretty good, but I think it's only worth the money if you can afford to spend $55 a month on foundation. There are other top brand powder foundations that cover just as nicely and look just as natural, but are much less expensive and last a very long time.

If you try to cancel the auto-shipments, they will offer to charge only $20 per bottle of foundation and tell you about their app where you can download coupons for discounts. It's nice that they wait until you want to cancel before they tell you about the app and discounts, but just be aware of the true costs of the system and foundation before you commit to purchasing it. Overall, I think the Luminess Breeze system is a bit overpriced and there are better options out there.

I've been eyeing the Luminess airbrush system for years and finally decided to take the plunge when the Breeze model came out. I couldn't afford to pay for it all at once, so I opted for the payment plan. While I was still paying it off, I decided to purchase one of their "sale items" to try out. It's been months since I paid off the system, but I noticed that money kept being taken out of my account. I called a couple of months ago to stop all payments, but to my surprise, $46 was taken out of my account today.

I was relieved that it wasn't the $56 that was being taken out almost bi-weekly, but I was still upset that I was being charged for something I thought I had already paid for. When I called Luminess today, I was informed that I was paying for my "sale item" from February. I couldn't believe it! I just wanted to try the product, which I didn't even like, and now I'm still paying for it months later.

I told the man on the phone to cancel all future payments, but he tried to tell me that I was just paying for what I purchased. I had already paid for it ten times over! I was nice, but I had to be blunt. Why would anyone knowingly agree to pay for a product that they will pay off in three months? It was on sale, but that doesn't mean I should be paying for it forever.

My advice to anyone considering Luminess is to just not do it. No makeup in the world is worth having these people steal from your hard-earned money. And don't even get me started on their 5-star app. It's useless and just takes up space on your phone. I even tried deleting and re-downloading it twice, but it still didn't work. It's a shame that companies like this exist, preying on unsuspecting customers. Don't be a sucker like me.

So, I recently bought the Airbrush from Luminess Cosmetics and boy was I excited to try it out! But then, I noticed some extra charges on my account. I was confused and called them up to ask what was going on. They told me that it was a courtesy to replenish my foundation. I was like, "What? I didn't even use up the first batch!" I told them that I didn't need any more foundation and that they shouldn't charge me for it. I was pretty clear about it, but it seems like they didn't get the message.

I've called them up several times to tell them to stop charging me for the membership, but it seems like they don't care. One representative told me that December would be my last payment, but then they charged me again! And now they're threatening my credit! It's like they don't even care about their customers. All they want is access to our accounts so they can keep charging us for things we don't even want.

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with Luminess Cosmetics. There are other companies out there that sell airbrush machines without all this hassle. You pay once and you're done. But with Luminess, it's like they want to trap you in a membership and keep charging you forever. It's not about building a long-lasting relationship with their customers, it's about making money.

If you're thinking about buying from Luminess Cosmetics, I'd say think twice. There are other options out there that won't try to scam you out of your hard-earned money. Don't fall for their bate and switch routine. It's not worth it.

I recently bought a Luminess product from their website in October 2021. The initial payment was $62.43 US, followed by three more installments of $59.99 US. However, when I received my bill, I was charged $80.84 US. When I asked them about the overbilling, they responded by saying that I was billed for three installments of $69.99 US, which was clearly not what I agreed to. I even sent them a copy of my original invoice, which clearly stated $59.99 US per month. They then sent me a revised invoice on April 15, 2022, which was identical to my original invoice, but with the three monthly installments changed to $69.99 US. Changing an invoice five months after the deal was made is highly illegal and unethical.

I also questioned why I was billed in January and February for auto refills that were only supposed to come in December 2021, March 2022, and June 2022. I was billed for my December auto ship and my March one when I actually received the product. Why was I billed in January and February for no product ordered or received? So far, I have not received any answers or refund back to my credit card. I have asked for my auto delivery to be canceled, but I doubt it will be. I am sure I will be billed in April and May for no auto delivery ordered and then again in June 2021 when my next one should actually arrive.

It is clear from their summary that they have overbilled on the three monthly payments and for two auto deliveries that were not ordered, expected, or delivered. They are shysters. I would advise you not to order from them, do not give your credit card info to them, and believe the awful reviews they have gotten, as they are true. This company is unethical, immoral, and dishonest. They should not be in business, and they should be shut down. I have all the paperwork and backup documents to prove everything.

I recently had an experience with Luminess and wanted to share my thoughts. If you're thinking about returning a product, be aware that they don't make it easy. They give you a limited amount of time to return the product, but then it takes a long time to get your refund - 4-8 weeks! Here are some things to keep in mind if you do decide to return something:

First, you need to write a specific number on the box with a permanent marker. Make sure it's big enough - one and a half to two inches in size. You also need to make a copy of your packing list for your records. The RA# (that's the number you wrote on the box) needs to be written on the front of the original packing list and returned with your package.

Make sure to send back everything that came with the system. If anything is missing or damaged, you may be charged a replacement fee. And finally, be prepared to wait for your refund. It can take 4-8 weeks for Luminess to process the refund, and then another 3-5 business days for it to show up on your credit card statement.

Overall, I think Luminess could make their return process a little more user-friendly. But if you follow their instructions carefully, you should be able to get your refund eventually.

I gotta say, I've tried a few different airbrush systems in my day, and Luminess is definitely up there in terms of quality. I've owned both the original Luminess airbrush system and the Breeze system, and both of them have given me full coverage that lasts all day long. However, I recently decided to try out LaMakiage liquid foundation (applied with a brush) to compare, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

One thing I noticed right off the bat was that LaMakiage's color matching is spot on. I've never been able to find the right shade from an online questionnaire the first time around, but with LaMakiage, I didn't have any issues. On the other hand, I've found that Luminess shades tend to be on the orange side, and it can take some trial and error to get the right match for your skin tone.

In terms of coverage, I found that LaMakiage's foundation is light but still covers blemishes and dark spots very well. It doesn't have that cakey feeling that some foundations can have, which is great for aging skin. Luminess, on the other hand, has buildable coverage but can still appear and feel a bit cakey. I think this might be due to the orange tones in the foundation. It's not the best option for aging skin, in my opinion.

Application-wise, LaMakiage is definitely the winner. It takes only seconds to apply, whereas Luminess (depending on how many layers you use) can take about 10 minutes to get one completed application. Plus, you then have to clean the unit, which can be a bit of a hassle.

In terms of wear, both systems are pretty good. LaMakiage has all-day wear, but I have to say that Luminess is the winner in terms of staying power. When you take off your makeup at the end of the day, Luminess definitely holds up better. The makeup remover cloth is evidence of that!

I was really excited to try out Luminess, especially since I'm a 58-year-old woman who's preparing for her first grandbabies and a twin boy baby shower. However, my experience with their customer service has been a complete nightmare. I've been on hold for what feels like hours, listening to empty promises that are never kept. I even left my phone number twice, hoping they would call me back, but they never did.

To make matters worse, the colors they sent me were completely wrong. I was supposed to get a color that mimicked the commercial model "Aubrey," but instead, I got two bases of the ugliest orange I've ever seen. I'm not talking about a little bit orange, I mean it's like they sent me colors that could turn a white tennis ball into a sunburnt orange that's in the process of rotting.

I tried calling them again this morning, but once again, I was put on hold and never got to speak to a human being. It's clear that Luminess Breeze has a poorly staffed customer service department that's only interested in taking new orders. They don't care about their customers at all.

I'm begging you, please don't make the same mistake I did. Unless you want to look like a spoiled orange, stay away from Luminess. I wish I had read more reviews and done more research before ordering from them. This is the most poorly run company I've ever dealt with.

Save yourself the hassle and go to Belks, Macy's, Walmart, Walgreen's, or anywhere else. Just don't order from Luminess. Trust me, you'll regret it.

I gotta say, I've had some issues with Luminess. Three times now, my sprayer has broken and it takes a whole week to get a new one. And let me tell you, their delivery service is the cheapest of the cheap. I've got tracking numbers and everything, but my package hasn't even been delivered yet. Luckily, Mr. Zambrano was a real help when I talked to him. He advised me to send everything back and close my account, which I did today at 11:30 out of Chapin, Sc. I went with UPS for the return because DSL is just as bad as Luminess - not worth the dirt I walk on. They probably picked DSL because they're the cheapest delivery company, but who knows and who cares? Certainly not Luminess.

I hope everything goes smoothly with the return, but I have my doubts. If it does work out, though, I'll write another review. I really do love this product, but the way it's run is just terrible. Management is at fault here. It's 2022 already, people! Stop blaming Covid for everything. And your music? It sucks. Plus, no one should have to wait 72 hours for an answer. That's just ridiculous. I've asked to speak to a supervisor two or three times now, and every time I'm told they'll call me back. But they never do. The last time, someone told me they were calling me, but when I answered, it just went back to the Luminess recording. If they really cared about their customers, they would have left a message or at least sent a text. But I guess the supervisors don't have their own numbers. That's just poor management, if you ask me. You know what they say - $#*! rolls downhill. And in this case, it starts at the top. Obviously, they don't train their managers to put the customer first. When the owners don't care, why should anyone else? It's all about the $$$$$$$$$$$.

Honestly, Luminess is like a legal scam. The people who run this business have gotten rich off hardworking people. They might as well have stolen their money. But in the end, they'll have to answer for it. Karma is a $#*!, and when you know you're scamming and stealing from people, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes. You'll get it back 10 times over or more. I'll make sure to tell everyone I know not to get hooked up with your scam. And I'll tell them why, too. I pray that what Mr. Zambrano told me was the truth and that my return goes smoothly. On Monday, I'll call and give the tracking number to more than one employee and get their names and their supervisors' names. It's a shame, really. I really enjoy the makeup, but having three sprayers break that quickly? That's a problem. The people who run this company don't care about their customers. To them, we're just n$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Trust me on this.

If there's such a thing as a manager at Luminess, I'd love to talk to them. But I'm not holding my breath. Scam artists usually don't have managers, do they? Email me if you want, but I won't be expecting much.

So, I had some trouble with Luminess at first. I picked out some colors that didn't work for me, but they were really nice about replacing them for free. I was impressed with their customer service. But then, they kept sending me the wrong colors when I tried to reorder. I cancelled my subscription online, but that didn't work. I had to call customer service to actually stop the charges. It was frustrating, but I finally got it sorted out. I even cancelled my credit card and got a new one to make sure they couldn't keep charging me. Overall, I think Luminess has good products, but their website and customer service could use some improvement.

This company, Luminess, is not to be trusted. I ordered their product as a gift for my wife and was charged an additional $69.95 and $79.95 for "future products" without my consent. It took 10 days for the product to arrive, which was already a red flag. My wife and I quickly realized that this company was unethical and we requested a return. However, their return policy is non-existent and expensive. Customers are required to pay for the return shipping, include a "Return Authorization Number" on the box, and call to confirm that the return was received. Even after all of this, they still refused to credit my initial payment or the two additional charges.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company. They are not as advertised and their practices are shady. As a litigator, I would not hesitate to sue them in a class action lawsuit. The Luminess product is okay, but the price is way too high! I didn't even realize that it was five payments of $53, plus they added me to an auto delivery of more makeup for $42. Who needs that much makeup? I tried to cancel the auto delivery once, but they were still charging me. When I talked to them online, the person got all snippy with me and reminded me that it was my auto delivery. I told them that I cancelled it a month and a half ago and they should reimburse me. They asked why I cancelled and I said that it was too expensive and I didn't need that much makeup. Then they tried to give me another deal, but I said no because the last time I cancelled, they tried to give me another deal too. I feel like they just want to scam more money out of you before you notice. It's not worth the money or the headache! Don't buy from these scammers!

Make sure you do your research and read reviews before buying anything from Luminess or any other company.

So, my husband thought he was doing a nice thing by buying me the Luminess Air makeup system from luminesscosmetics.com. But, to be honest, I wasn't impressed with it at all. It felt like I was painting a wall, and not in a good way. I just put it aside and forgot about it.

I wouldn't recommend Luminess to anyone. They may have some decent products, but their customer service is terrible. If you're thinking about buying from them, be careful. You might end up in the same situation as me.

So, my niece came over from Europe and she wanted to buy something from Luminess Breeze. I let her use my credit card and the next day, I got an email from Luminess confirming the order. But when I tried to call them on Monday, I got cut off a bunch of times. I was getting worried, so I looked them up and saw that they had 283 BBB complaints! That's a lot, you know? So, I finally got through to someone on Tuesday and I tried to cancel my order. But it was hard to talk to them and I didn't feel like they were listening to me. So, I sent them a bunch of emails to confirm that I wanted to cancel and what my intentions were. But they never replied! That's just rude, you know? So, I told my credit card company and they're helping me dispute the charge. I also complained to the Texas Attorney General's Office and the Federal Trade Commission. I'm still waiting for my money to come back to me. I don't trust Luminess anymore and I don't respect them either. You should be careful if you're thinking about doing business with them.

The makeup from Luminess is pretty decent, but once you start using it, it's hard to stop. (1) I had some trouble finding the right shade on their website, as it didn't seem to match up with my current foundations from Urban Decay, Make Up For Ever, or Nars. (2) I was supposed to receive some free gifts with my trial, but they were "backordered" and never arrived. (3) They automatically sign you up for their club, which means you'll be charged every month, but you might not even get the two bottles they bill you for. And to make matters worse, the colors they send might not even be the ones you're using! Even when my credit card expired, they somehow found a way to keep billing my checking account. I had to email and call multiple times, using different addresses and phone numbers, just to try to cancel. And when I finally did get through, I had to sit through a 20-minute sales pitch. (4) If you do happen to find a color and formula you like, be prepared for the bottles to arrive broken. They'll leak all over your other makeup, and you'll only get a few uses out of them. So, in conclusion, I would advise you to learn from my mistake and just avoid Luminess altogether.

I have had some experience with Luminess and I have to say, it was not a great one. I worked with them as a customer service representative from November 2018 to January 2019 and let me tell you, it was a real headache.

One of the biggest issues we dealt with was the frequency of automated shipments and returns of the product. We received a lot of calls about these inconveniences, but unfortunately, they were not resolved and we had to continue lying to the customers. It was really frustrating because we knew we were not doing the right thing, but we had to follow the company's policies.

Working in their Contact Center in Bogota, NJ was not easy either. We had to deal with a lot of angry customers who were not satisfied with the product or the service they received. It was really hard to keep up with the demands of the customers and the company's goals at the same time.

During my time with Luminess, I learned that honesty is the best policy. I admit that I lied to customers about the product and the procedures we had to follow to make a sale and achieve our goals. But I realized that it was not worth it. It's better to be honest with the customers and let them make an informed decision.

Unfortunately, I cannot reveal any information about the company or its third-party allies due to confidentiality agreements. All I can say is that the Contact Center headquarters was in Bogota, Colombia and all calls were monitored from there. I prefer to remain anonymous to avoid any legal issues.

Overall, my experience with Luminess was not a good one. I would not recommend their products or services to anyone. If you're looking for a company that values honesty and transparency, Luminess is not the one for you.

I gotta tell ya, I've been using Luminess for about 4 years now. I saw their commercial on TV and thought, "Hey, that looks pretty good!" So I ordered some foundation and let me tell you, it was a perfect match for my skin. I was so happy with it! But then, things started to go downhill.

Every time I ordered after that first time, they sent me a shade that was way too light for me. I mean, come on, do they not know how to match skin tones? So I called them up and they told me they discontinued the original shade. What?! Why would they do that? It was the only one that worked for me!

So I tried to cancel my orders, but they just kept sending me the wrong shade. I cancelled at least 10 times, through phone, email, and online, but they just wouldn't listen. And get this, they kept charging me for it! I even filed fraud with my bank and cancelled my cards, but somehow they still managed to get a charge off a new card or PayPal. It's like they're unstoppable!

I've spent about $50 a month on this stuff for 3 years now, which adds up to close to 2 grand. And I have dozens of unopened bags of this crap that I can't even use. It's ridiculous! I think Luminess needs to be held accountable for their actions. They need a class action suit filed against them by all the other people who are in the same boat as me. Who's with me?

I'm actually filing a complaint with the attorney general's office right now. This is just not right. And to top it all off, I just received another package of this useless product today. It's a total sham, folks. Don't waste your money on Luminess.

I gotta say, I was pretty excited to try out Luminess airbrush system. I mean, who wouldn't want to have flawless, airbrushed skin? But let me tell you, the experience was far from flawless.

First of all, let's talk about the foundation delivery. It's a total ripoff! I haven't received any foundation since November 2020, yet they continue to take money from my bank account every 2 months. I'm owed 3 refunds, but have only received one. Every time I call customer service, they tell me I'll get my refund in 3-5 business days. But that's a total lie! I've called them 3 times in the past 3 weeks and still haven't received my refund.

Today, I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor. The agent I was talking to said he was a supervisor, but he wasn't. They lie to you to get your money and don't send the products that you pay for. Be careful with Luminess. There are plenty of other excellent companies out there that will send you foundation hassle-free and on time. Luminess is a scam and I DO NOT recommend them.

Now, let's talk about the airbrush system itself. It's great, don't get me wrong. But the continued foundation delivery will stop while they continue to take your money on a regular basis. They claim to have a good refund policy, which is extremely FALSE. And the customer service is terrible. They lie and don't follow through on their promises.

I've cancelled everything with Luminess and I'm watching my bank account to see if they continue to rob me. What a joke! I recommend ANYBODY else for your liquid foundation, definitely not Luminess. Don't waste your time or money on this company.
