Luminess

The product does not look like anything as advertised on TV. Defined my wrinkles way more and made me look very cakey and like i had way to much make on. I also never recd the mascara that should have been in the order. I also was mislead on the price. Thought i would spend the $30 for the trial but now i am being billed over $120 for the machine and products that did come with it. I will prob return all of it back. Very sad advertising.

It was supposed to be a Christmas present for my older sister. I had it shipped to my younger sister (where we were to gather) because I didn't think it would arrive in time for me to take it with me for the holiday visit. I hoped the three of us could unwrap it and experiment together. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive at my younger sister's house until after we left. My younger sister will hold on to it and we will try again in June when we see each other again.

It takes practice. Follow the tutorials and practice! I read the small print so that I knew what the terms were before ordering. When I started practicing I had to make adjustments around my eyes to soften the look (I just used products I already had), and had to adjust the "layering" of product on my face and neck to get it right for my skin. I have large pores so I knew a primer would be necessary. Now, it takes me five minutes to put on primer, foundation, blush, and eye shadow. I totally recommend it.

Im 1/2 Cherokee my skin tone is never the same in the spring time Im a light bronze in the summer Im a very dark reddish tone I buy up to 4 different tone of liquid makeup and try to match my color as best as possible, I finally gave in and ordered Luminess air Ive used it everyday I Love it Im in more control of the blending and Ive about match my tones perfectly It takes practice to get the fill of it and blending into different shades but its worth it so try try and try again because youll love it when you get it to your perfect shades

I have had my system for about a week now and I LOVE the system so far. The only issue I had was, the "free gifts" are on back order and the things you need to have the best experience with the system were not even mentioned until you watched the DVD and tutorial videos. This should be part of the 30 day trial.
If you want people to have the best experience in those 30 days, add the moisturizer/primer to the trial kit and maybe remove the blush. As for the free gifts, have a substitute in case the original gifts aren't available.
Other than that, I love my system so far, but as they say, time will tell.

I received my first shipment only to discover that the starter package did not include the moisturizing foundation that was to be applied prior to applying the make up. I had to order that item separately. There was also no instruction booklet or DVD in my package showing how to use the product. I am still waiting for the missing items. When you advertise the product on television there was no indication that there was a necessity for the moisturizing item. At this point, I am still not able to complete my trial to determine if I would like the product or not. I probably will not continue use of the product unless I can actually try it out and see results.

It takes a little practice, or it did for me. I spent a half day with baby wipes and my new luminess system. Once you get the hang of it, the appearance is flawless! It really does last a good 16 hours. The eyes are a little tricky and it should come with better instructions on adding color. That is my only criticisms. I have suffered from a Chema and psoriasis all my life (50+ years) This product line is so well made with such amazing ingredients I have not had a single flare up. It covers up red blotches, bumps flawlessly. I have gotten so many compliments! I highly recommend this product. It definitely takes a learning curve, but stick with it. It is sooooo worth it!

Like the kit indicated, "watch the video", is excellent advice. I may need to call and get a lighter color and possibly the concealer as well. I'm usually lighter in the winter months and darker during the summer...which the photo I sent was with tanned skin. That was my fault. I'm getting use to using the wand, and found that it can go on too thick if you're not gauging the pressure correctly; it's more of the fact that I didn't think much was coming out, but keep moving the wand...as we're told to do. Also, we ladies a little older may need to gently tug to smooth out the wrinkles around the eyes before applying in that delicate area. Don't give up on it, I feel it's promising...just takes practice, practice, practice. Give me about a week and I'll send an updated review. :-)

I am thrilled with Luminessair! It arrived on time and very well packed. Instructions, both detailed in a CD and also a quick guide for those who are all about getting started right away. A bit tricky to become a pro in using the wand, but I am determined to "trial the 7 days to perfection". Tutorials and assistance is available, if you need specific help. The realistic tutorials including women who film themselves opening the box and jumping right in was very helpful and made the "getting started" less intimidating. I was annoyed at the negative reviews.
Seems as though reviews are in place before the experience is trialed... Looking good is effort, so I am excited to have professional equipment so I may become a pro in looking my best and using good products. Perhaps other women aren't serious about looking their best or indulging time to "put their best face first"!

After looking at the detailed DVD and reading thru the instruction leaflet, I tried doing it myself and was pleasantly surprised. It was almost easy to use. AND it was fun. It felt so light and smoothe going on my face and it looked very natural... but with no blemishes or redness that I normally have. I then used the eyeshadow, lipstick and mascara that came later. Eyeshadow was great, mascara was nice, but lipstick was a little dry. I did look better than I have in years (probably because I haven't worn make up in years) and I was pleased with the outcome. However, I had a terrible cold and within an hour most of my make-up had been wiped off because of sneezIng, coughing, and runny eyes. I have already recommended it to all the women in my family... There are 26 of us and I am looking forward to using this when I go anywhere. Finally, a product that I can recommend.

So, I had some trouble with Luminess at first. I picked out some colors that didn't work for me, but they were really nice about replacing them for free. I was impressed with their customer service. But then, they kept sending me the wrong colors when I tried to reorder. I cancelled my subscription online, but that didn't work. I had to call customer service to actually stop the charges. It was frustrating, but I finally got it sorted out. I even cancelled my credit card and got a new one to make sure they couldn't keep charging me. Overall, I think Luminess has good products, but their website and customer service could use some improvement.

This company, Luminess, is not to be trusted. I ordered their product as a gift for my wife and was charged an additional $69.95 and $79.95 for "future products" without my consent. It took 10 days for the product to arrive, which was already a red flag. My wife and I quickly realized that this company was unethical and we requested a return. However, their return policy is non-existent and expensive. Customers are required to pay for the return shipping, include a "Return Authorization Number" on the box, and call to confirm that the return was received. Even after all of this, they still refused to credit my initial payment or the two additional charges.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company. They are not as advertised and their practices are shady. As a litigator, I would not hesitate to sue them in a class action lawsuit. I will give them one more week to refund all of my money back to my credit card, but I am not holding my breath.

In conclusion, Luminess is a scam and should be avoided at all costs. Their return policy is a joke and they charge customers without their consent. Do not waste your time or money on this company.

The Luminess product is okay, but the price is way too high! I didn't even realize that it was five payments of $53, plus they added me to an auto delivery of more makeup for $42. Who needs that much makeup? I tried to cancel the auto delivery once, but they were still charging me. When I talked to them online, the person got all snippy with me and reminded me that it was my auto delivery. I told them that I cancelled it a month and a half ago and they should reimburse me. They asked why I cancelled and I said that it was too expensive and I didn't need that much makeup. Then they tried to give me another deal, but I said no because the last time I cancelled, they tried to give me another deal too. I feel like they just want to scam more money out of you before you notice. It's not worth the money or the headache! Don't buy from these scammers!

I was thinking about buying from Luminess, but after reading some reviews, I'm not so sure. Apparently, they have a reputation for ripping people off, sending the wrong colors, and having terrible customer service. It seems like they charge you for items you never receive, double bill you, and overcharge you. That's just plain theft! It looks like their shady business practices started in early 2018, but what's even worse is that they started stealing from people outright as soon as COVID hit. If you don't believe me, just read the reviews and check the dates. I don't understand how this company hasn't been hit with a class action lawsuit yet. I'm so glad I read the reviews before making a huge mistake. If you've already ordered from them and haven't received your products, or if you just got them and they're not what you expected, I suggest you do what many others have had to do: cancel the card you used or close your bank account and open a new one (and explain the situation to your bank). According to the reviews, people have lost hundreds of dollars on products that don't work and items that never arrive. Make sure you do your research and read reviews before buying anything from Luminess or any other company.

So, my husband thought he was doing a nice thing by buying me the Luminess Air makeup system from luminesscosmetics.com. But, to be honest, I wasn't impressed with it at all. It felt like I was painting a wall, and not in a good way. I just put it aside and forgot about it.

But, little did I know, there was a catch. Apparently, if you don't return the product within 7 days, they'll start charging you monthly. And, of course, I missed that deadline. So, I tried to contact the company to stop them from charging me, but they just kept trying to take my money.

I even told them that I didn't want any more of their products in the future, but they didn't seem to care. They just kept sending me letters and emails, threatening to send my account to a collection agency.

In the end, I had to close my bank account just to get away from them. It's ridiculous that a company would treat their customers like this. My husband only paid about $39 for the product, but it turned into a nightmare.

I wouldn't recommend Luminess to anyone. They may have some decent products, but their customer service is terrible. If you're thinking about buying from them, be careful. You might end up in the same situation as me.

So, my niece came over from Europe and she wanted to buy something from Luminess Breeze. I let her use my credit card and the next day, I got an email from Luminess confirming the order. But when I tried to call them on Monday, I got cut off a bunch of times. I was getting worried, so I looked them up and saw that they had 283 BBB complaints! That's a lot, you know? So, I finally got through to someone on Tuesday and I tried to cancel my order. But it was hard to talk to them and I didn't feel like they were listening to me. So, I sent them a bunch of emails to confirm that I wanted to cancel and what my intentions were. But they never replied! That's just rude, you know? So, I told my credit card company and they're helping me dispute the charge. I also complained to the Texas Attorney General's Office and the Federal Trade Commission. I'm still waiting for my money to come back to me. I don't trust Luminess anymore and I don't respect them either. You should be careful if you're thinking about doing business with them.

The makeup from Luminess is pretty decent, but once you start using it, it's hard to stop. (1) I had some trouble finding the right shade on their website, as it didn't seem to match up with my current foundations from Urban Decay, Make Up For Ever, or Nars. (2) I was supposed to receive some free gifts with my trial, but they were "backordered" and never arrived. (3) They automatically sign you up for their club, which means you'll be charged every month, but you might not even get the two bottles they bill you for. And to make matters worse, the colors they send might not even be the ones you're using! Even when my credit card expired, they somehow found a way to keep billing my checking account. I had to email and call multiple times, using different addresses and phone numbers, just to try to cancel. And when I finally did get through, I had to sit through a 20-minute sales pitch. (4) If you do happen to find a color and formula you like, be prepared for the bottles to arrive broken. They'll leak all over your other makeup, and you'll only get a few uses out of them. So, in conclusion, I would advise you to learn from my mistake and just avoid Luminess altogether.

I have had some experience with Luminess and I have to say, it was not a great one. I worked with them as a customer service representative from November 2018 to January 2019 and let me tell you, it was a real headache.

One of the biggest issues we dealt with was the frequency of automated shipments and returns of the product. We received a lot of calls about these inconveniences, but unfortunately, they were not resolved and we had to continue lying to the customers. It was really frustrating because we knew we were not doing the right thing, but we had to follow the company's policies.

Working in their Contact Center in Bogota, NJ was not easy either. We had to deal with a lot of angry customers who were not satisfied with the product or the service they received. It was really hard to keep up with the demands of the customers and the company's goals at the same time.

During my time with Luminess, I learned that honesty is the best policy. I admit that I lied to customers about the product and the procedures we had to follow to make a sale and achieve our goals. But I realized that it was not worth it. It's better to be honest with the customers and let them make an informed decision.

Unfortunately, I cannot reveal any information about the company or its third-party allies due to confidentiality agreements. All I can say is that the Contact Center headquarters was in Bogota, Colombia and all calls were monitored from there. I prefer to remain anonymous to avoid any legal issues.

Overall, my experience with Luminess was not a good one. I would not recommend their products or services to anyone. If you're looking for a company that values honesty and transparency, Luminess is not the one for you.

I gotta tell ya, I've been using Luminess for about 4 years now. I saw their commercial on TV and thought, "Hey, that looks pretty good!" So I ordered some foundation and let me tell you, it was a perfect match for my skin. I was so happy with it! But then, things started to go downhill.

Every time I ordered after that first time, they sent me a shade that was way too light for me. I mean, come on, do they not know how to match skin tones? So I called them up and they told me they discontinued the original shade. What?! Why would they do that? It was the only one that worked for me!

So I tried to cancel my orders, but they just kept sending me the wrong shade. I cancelled at least 10 times, through phone, email, and online, but they just wouldn't listen. And get this, they kept charging me for it! I even filed fraud with my bank and cancelled my cards, but somehow they still managed to get a charge off a new card or PayPal. It's like they're unstoppable!

I've spent about $50 a month on this stuff for 3 years now, which adds up to close to 2 grand. And I have dozens of unopened bags of this crap that I can't even use. It's ridiculous! I think Luminess needs to be held accountable for their actions. They need a class action suit filed against them by all the other people who are in the same boat as me. Who's with me?

I'm actually filing a complaint with the attorney general's office right now. This is just not right. And to top it all off, I just received another package of this useless product today. It's a total sham, folks. Don't waste your money on Luminess.

I gotta say, I was pretty excited to try out Luminess airbrush system. I mean, who wouldn't want to have flawless, airbrushed skin? But let me tell you, the experience was far from flawless.

First of all, let's talk about the foundation delivery. It's a total ripoff! I haven't received any foundation since November 2020, yet they continue to take money from my bank account every 2 months. I'm owed 3 refunds, but have only received one. Every time I call customer service, they tell me I'll get my refund in 3-5 business days. But that's a total lie! I've called them 3 times in the past 3 weeks and still haven't received my refund.

Today, I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor. The agent I was talking to said he was a supervisor, but he wasn't. They lie to you to get your money and don't send the products that you pay for. Be careful with Luminess. There are plenty of other excellent companies out there that will send you foundation hassle-free and on time. Luminess is a scam and I DO NOT recommend them.

Now, let's talk about the airbrush system itself. It's great, don't get me wrong. But the continued foundation delivery will stop while they continue to take your money on a regular basis. They claim to have a good refund policy, which is extremely FALSE. And the customer service is terrible. They lie and don't follow through on their promises.

I've cancelled everything with Luminess and I'm watching my bank account to see if they continue to rob me. What a joke! I recommend ANYBODY else for your liquid foundation, definitely not Luminess. Don't waste your time or money on this company.
