I am quite concerned over some reviews That were sent to me from family friends regarding the hotel we will be staying at during our visit to Costa Calma.
The Hotel is called Hotel SBH Fuerteventura Playa.

My partner and I are both aged 64, and have our own medical conditions for which we take POM (Prescription only medicine), to control our medical conditions.

We have been to the Canary Islands a few times and have been taken care of over the past few years with honesty and respect.

Therefore I would like your business or company to give us reassurance that the place that you have advertised and recommended will not only keep us safe, but also the quality of food, but also the services that you promised on your website.
My concern was raised when I recieved this review, days before our departure

1st Review - September
WARNING! This hotel no longer has its restaurant open as it was closed for health and safety issues 9/9/25 Some people were initially moved to other SBH hotels but this is no longer possible. There is NO FOOD whatsoever at Playa. Hotel is also suffering from insect infestation and everyone is being bitten to pieces - we slept outside on the balcony as it was so bad! Hotel has now been removed from Love Holidays website but they are still flying people out despite the problems. Whatever this hotel has been like in the past, you will now have a holiday from hell here now so please, please contact your travel agent and go elsewhere... check Facebook posts for more into
