This company cashed a check to someone else without my endorsement, and they refuse to take responsibility.
On March 11, I bought my 2018 Jeep from a leasing company using my bank Logix Federal Credit Union (LCU) (see attachment)
On March 11, I bought my 2018 Jeep from a leasing company using my bank Logix Federal Credit Union (LCU) (see attachment). In June 2022, I noticed that my car tags didn't have a current registration sticker (I thought maybe it wasn't sent due to the pandemic). I wrote to the DMV and they replied (see attachment) saying that my bank (LCU) never transferred it. I called LCU and spoke with ***, she said sorry a lot, it was her fault because of covid, they would pay all the past registration fees, work it out with the DMV, and send me my stickers ASAP, even overnight if needed. I didn't hear back from her, a few days later (see ATT log on our phone calls) she said I need to pay the current fees for this year and sent me just a copy of the registration fees from the DMV without explaining who was responsible for what and how it would be handled (see attachment). I called LCU again to escalate the issue but was transferred back to her. I called her again but she never called me back, and no one from LCU did either. I got a $28 ticket from the Glendale police dept, and separately, a county sheriff stopped me (because I have no resignation, it doesn't show I have insurance). Luckily, he understood and let me go without a ticket, but warned me that he could impound my car and I'd have to pay for everything (towing, storage, all back fees, late fees...) to get it back. This makes it hard to drive my car. I've been really happy with LCU and I'm/was in the process of moving all my money to them and hoping to refinance my mortgages with them, so I hope they can fix this.
