This company, Insight Financial Solutions, LLC, is a total scam! They take advantage of people who have tax issues with the IRS and use it as an excuse to charge even more money. They don't even do the work they claim to do. I asked for a refund, and they initially agreed, but then changed their minds. Can you believe it? They exploit your fear of the IRS and charge you for "time spent" on your case, even though they haven't actually done anything. It's much better to give Power of Attorney to a local tax preparer than to trust this company. I talked to an IRS officer, and they confirmed that there's nothing special about what this company does, except for preying on your fear of dealing with the IRS directly. And to top it all off, they overcharged me a whopping $12,500 just to file my tax returns. And when they failed to do the work, they flat out refused to give me a refund, even after I spent a whole year chasing them down. Can you believe the nerve of these people? Stay far away from Insight Financial Solutions, LLC!

BEWARE! Don't use this company! I got a call from a young man when the IRS started sending letters about putting a lien on my property. Courtney *** was the first person I spoke with, very polite and nice. Then I talked to Ryan Davis who explained everything to me in a simple way, which is why I decided to use them for my [protected] taxes. They would handle all my taxes, negotiate, and set up a payment plan with the IRS. Okay, so 2020 comes and I start getting aggressive emails from Courtney, felt like I was being bullied. I emailed her back saying it was harassment because I only wanted them to do my [protected] taxes, but I gave in and let them do my 2019 taxes for an additional fee, of course. They never told me I had to pay extra for the payment plan. Since I didn't receive a new contract, I thought we were still working under the old one. Then I got a call saying it would be an extra $1200.00 to set up the payment plan. I had already paid for the plan from [protected], but it was NEVER done! Now they want another $1200.00 for the 2019 payment, when you can call the IRS and set up a payment plan for FREE! Lillian Nettles was THE WORST! I copied and pasted the part of my original contract that stated what they would do for me. She said it wasn't included, but I told her that should have been communicated to me. They will bug you to use their service and then not give you the service you paid for! Overall, I paid these guys a lot of money for incomplete work. I had to keep sending my taxes back because of mistakes with the kids' SS# and DOB. I felt like they target people who are being harassed by the IRS because you're scared and don't know what to do, and you're relying on them to help you fix your tax issue. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to use this company. If I had to choose between using them or going to jail for my back taxes, JAIL IT IS!

I got a call from Ryan Davis in December . We talked about a big tax lien on my house. I'm selling my house in Texas and there's a huge lien of $140,000 on it. I needed help to see if I could lower the taxes. I'm not a tax expert, and I said many times that I might try other places, but Ryan kept pushing. I thought maybe he could help me. Yesterday, I made a list of things I needed to know, and Ryan got really mad and insulted me. They should protect other clients and put their fees and services on their website. They're not doctors, accountants, or lawyers, so like any other business, clients should know how much they charge.

I paid to have my tax debt settled. I never got an answer from them. The IRS levied my back tax debt while I thought they were helping me. I had a tax lien filed in January . Rachel at Insight called me and promised that not only could they settle the tax debt, they would set up my business so I would never be in that position again. I paid $2000 down. Jessica was then put on my case. I didn't expect the tax debt to be written off, but I was told they could keep it from going into collections and wage garnishments. I had lost my job, and that's why I was behind on taxes. When the auto withdrawal didn't pull the last monthly payment of $500 of the $3000 I was contracted to pay, they sent me a message saying they were going to finalize with the IRS and close my account. I received a letter from the IRS three months later that there's going to be a levy on my account, and they did absolutely nothing for me. The IRS even said they didn't try to do anything else. It was all a complete lie. They didn't even help me set up my business so I wouldn't be in this position again. Everything was a total scam and has been absolutely no help at all. The $2500 I did pay would have been able to be sent to the IRS to almost get my account into a place where I could set up a payment plan and remove the lien.

Be careful when dealing with Insight Financial Solutions, LLC. They don't file your taxes correctly and ignore you when the IRS contacts you due to their poor work. At first, they seemed great to work with, but that's because they do a terrible job. I had some medical issues that caused problems in my professional life, leading to financial and tax issues. I hired them to fix these problems, paying them over $3k. They were supposed to file multiple years of returns. The first problem arose when the person handling my returns mistakenly sent me an email with another client's information, but quickly took it back. Then, they filed my returns incorrectly, resulting in the IRS claiming I owe over $60k, which is ironic because I should be getting a significant refund. After finally filing the returns, they asked for another $3k to "monitor" them. Surprise, surprise, the IRS is now saying that either my returns were not filed or they were filed incorrectly. I've sent about 10 emails to the firm's leadership, but they are completely ignoring me and refusing to respond. It's ironic that the IRS has been more helpful in this situation. Because I couldn't get my returns, I lost my job, my marriage, my home, and even my car due to my medical issues. These so-called "professionals" are well aware that I desperately need the money just to survive, yet they have no problem leaving an Army veteran with a brain injury, who has lost everything, to fall further into despair. They are not good or professional people. They might do a decent job if your tax situation is simple, but if it's complicated, avoid working with these "professionals" at all costs. They will scam you, put you in a terrible position, and do nothing to fix it. Both the IRS and the Taxpayers Advocates have confirmed that Insight either didn't file or filed incorrectly. I paid them in full, yet they refuse to deliver what they promised. I've been trying to contact them via email for over a month, simply asking for confirmation or acknowledgment from the IRS that they filed all my returns correctly. The IRS says they didn't. Meanwhile, my financial situation is deteriorating, and this "firm" is only making it worse. The people in this firm are disgusting human beings.
