I personally witnessed the "seasoned" respiratory therapist verbally abuse patients on a daily basis. She was despicable in her comments toward them after phone calls and as they left the building. The "area manager" did nothing to stop this behavior when it was brought to her attention. The respiratory therapist's behavior was imitated by a customer service representative who looked to the respiratory therapist for guidance. This type of abuse should not be tolerated or ignored!
